19 Chap 19. Sudden Change in Mood~

'I'll get you back, Bunny~' Astro thought with a smirk on his face.

"Lead the way Edith~" Astro said with a cheerful smile on his face, it was completely different from the amused smile he had just previously.

Edith clicked her tongue when she saw both Theo and Astro walking out of the bedroom, "About time" She huffed out.

She saw Astro holding onto Theo's arm and had the urge to tease them, but firstly she needed to approve of Theo!

She will not tease them until they have her approval!

She starting walking down the long corridor and starting explaining a few things that may occur during breakfast, "So Theo, since this is your first time meeting with the wonderful parents of this cheeky boy Astro, they will most probably start questioning you, don't take it as anything rude, they just don't want to be suddenly backstabbed or something."

Theo nodded his head as he listened intently to Edith's explanation, Edith saw his nod in her peripheral vision and smiled in her heart.

'Good listener' She thought before adding, "Oh and address them as, Maria and Zachary."

They walked along the hallway and down steps, getting a great workout before eating breakfast is always good.

Before they knew it, they reached the dining area, Zachary was currently sitting at the head of the table and Maria was beside him.

Luckily, they got the memo before about a guest entering their home and it was apparently their son's aquintance, but they soon found out is was a boy who they almost hit and were now taking care of.

The boy didn't know they were royalty and Astro had no desire to tell him since he had always wanted someone who didn't know his identity so they wouldn't befriend him for the crown.

They didn't mind Astro's behaviour and went along with it, they also wanted to see how this would play out since they didn't know of anyone who didn't know their identity.

So, like the amazing and loving parents they obviously were, they dressed like normal people.

To be exact, Maria wore a normal t-shirt that had a picture of a German Shepard and phoenix together, she had on a pair of normal black pants and joggers to fit the look. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun and she had glasses fixed on her face, she honestly looked very comfortable in her attire.

Zachary on the other hand wore a jumper with a cute baby crocodile picture imprinted on the front, he had trackies to fit his look. His hair wasn't styled at all and it was messy but looked natural.

When Theo saw their comfortable looking attire, he let out a breath that he had subconsciously been holding.

He was meeting Astro's parents! How could he not be nervous!

But when her saw them, he felt calmer then he was before. Since Astro was holding his shoulder, he felt Theo let out a breath and gave a small smile of encouragement although he knew Theo couldn't see it.

Alisha was seated on the other side of Zachary and was currently gobbling down pancakes like a beast starved of food.

"Hmm, so this is the guest we were told about." Zachary said as soon as he saw Theo and the trio. Maria also looked towards them when she heard Zachary, a light smile made its way onto her lips when she saw them.

"H-ello.. I'm Th-eo.." Theo stuttered out, even though he wasn't as nervous as before that doesn't mean he wasn't nervous at all!

Astro gave a squeeze of encouragement on his shoulder, Theo mustered up his courage from Astro's squeeze and gave them a small smile, although it was a little awkward.

Luckily, Maria and Zachary decided that the breakfast this evening would only be only be small, so there was only them, Alisha, Theo, Astro and also Edith.

Edith gestured for Theo to be seated next to Alisha so he naturally followed her gesture and sat beside Alisha, and then Astro sat next to himself.

"So.. Theo, Do you know who we are?" Zachary inquired, he was very curious about how Theo didn't know them so had to ask to be sure.

Luckily they were right since Theo answered with, "Astro's parents..?" Astro chuckled at his answer and clarified their question.

"He means their status in society, like do you know of our family name?" Astro explained, Theo replied with, "Ohhhh, um I only know that you're of noble status, I'm not sure about your family name because I don't really know anyone's family name, I don't even know the royalty's name." He shrugged.

Maria had a glabbergasted expression on her face with pure disbelief written in her eyes, Zachary was stunned but luckily he was expecting that answer.

"Hmm, so where do you come from?" Zachary inquired again to which Theo answered with, "I'm not sure myself, I just roam everywhere and anywhere. I survive off my own efforts and this is my first time experiencing this kindness." Theo explained, the last part of his sentence touched the parents heart and a soft smile made it way onto their faces.

Except Alisha's, she was still too busy wolfing down the food, which was almost all gone if I were to be honest.

"Aw, we hope you enjoy your stay here, and how old are you?" Maria questioned this time, she felt sad for the boy and had an urge to protect him, maybe they could adopt this poor boy and give him the life he deserved instead of just surviving.

"Um, I'm 16 I think. I don't know when my birthday is and normally say its my birthday when they had the grand festival in town." He explained.

The grand festival is a huge event for everyone, it is to celebrate the new year, and everyone celebrates it. The roads are always covered in streamers, ballons, beautiful lights, flowers and so much more, its honestly the best festival to ever be held.

"I'm sorry to hear that dear, from today onwards I hope that you allow us to hold a birthday party on new years to celebrate your birth." Maria hoped that he would allow it, and luckily Theo did.

He was stunned by the parent's generosity and felt touched so how in the hell could he reject their offer, Astro let out a bull blown smile just like Maria's and Zachary's.

Alisha had finally tuned back into reality and heard the birthday plan and immediately said, "I'm decorating! And buying the food!"

They all laughed at Alisha's words, this girl was out of reality at one moment and the next she was already involved in the conversation!

"Thank you very much Maria, and Zachary" Theo said emotionally, he bowed his head so they knew just how touched he was, the couple only laughed and told him to lift his head.

"Now we should eat, we made sure to have a bowl of porridge made for you." Zachary commented when Edith walked in with a bowl in her hands, she placed it right infront of Theo and walked away.

Astro suddenly burst out laughing whilst Theo's eyes suddenly began watering.

'WHYYYYY! THIS PORRIDGE WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME!' Theo screamed internally, the couple looked towards Astro because of his sudden laughter and then at Theo who was giving the porridge a death stare.

"Hahahaaha! Delicious porridge for you again Theo~ I'll make sure to add that to the list of foods for your birthday hahaa!" Alisha teased as she joined in with Astro.

Theo silently cried as the two siblings laughed at his misery, Astro quickly commented, "This is revenge hehehaha!"

He started wheezing when he heard Theo curse him and then grumble.

The parents were only dumbfounded by this sudden change in mood, it went from a heartfelt conversation to laughter and teasing.

They silently laughed and smiled brightly when they heard Astro's laughter, the laughter they hadn't heard in so long.
