It was just another rite of passage, a ritual in the community that all males had to go through when they reached adulthood. It signified that the boy had become a man, a recognized adult in the community. To Chege, this was going to be his moment. He would finally escape his reality as a boy with no background and become a man. He planned to finally rise above his station in life, and this journey that he had to make held the key. However, he ends up in a mysterious new place without even understanding how he got there, or even how to move from there. Despite all this, he is determined to not only survive but to thrive in this new world he finds himself in. Little did he know that he would get caught up in an ancient prophecy, one that would lead to a massive change in the entire world, and even touch the galaxies.
