79 Chapter 79 - Reunion of the Kang brothers

"Brother!" Zhu Kang threw himself onto his brother, hugging him as tightly as possible. He missed this sweaty man so much. "Brother...."

"Zhuzhu..." with trembling hands Gwyn checked his body. "Are you hurt anywhere? Who kidnapped you tell me right now? Was it the snakehead gang? I'll cut those fuckers down and I will incinerate them all!"

Zhu Kang froze. 'of fuck if I tell him heroes took me without my consent he will flip.. who knows he might try to infiltrate the academy and might try to kill everyone. shitttttt....' he chuckled dryly. "no one kidnapped me. I was fine..."

Gwyn's jaw tightened slightly. He saw a small nerve there twitch slightly.

'shiittttttt he is getting angryyy... Altren you better run buddy. He is going to know somehow that you were the cause of my disappearance.' He looked back and gave him the warning eye.

But that stupid stink bug did not get his warning.

With a bright smile Altren aka Alta who was in his full hero costume got close to them. "He is unharmed. I made sure of it. Don't worry, I will make sure he will be safe and sound from the snakehead gang,"

Kang's eyes went wide in shock. 'What... what!! You liar. Your uncle kidnapped me. Why are you throwing blame at the innocent snakehead gang.. wait there are not innocent BUT my stupid brother will run to them for revenge!!!!'

He really wanted to grab Altren right then and open his head up to look at his watered-down brain. This guy was a total idiot.

He heard his brother's threat, yet he made up such an obviously dangerous lie.

Altren did not take his eyes off his brother. All along he was looking at him like a lovesick puppy.

Gwyn on the other hand could not keep his eyes off him.

He felt his brother check his body well. He made sure to thoroughly pat him down to his buttock to search for wounds.

'Altren... you bastard... I should have smeared you like a bug...' he was continuously sending mental threats.

"I told you, he is unharmed." Suddenly Altren pretend like he was looking at either side of the street. "Someone might notice us. Let's talk inside."

'aghh! Such a smooth entrance into the house! brother, he is lying. It's fucking dark out. Who is going to look at us!!'

To his dismay, his brother cordially invited him in.

Gritting his teeth, Kang walked with Gwyn inside.

Seeing the familiar wall of humiliation, the dusty cough, the cracked tv, he started to slightly tear up. he immediately pretend like he was yawning and wiped the tears away.

"wow your place looks wonderful," Altren talked as if it was his first time barging in.

By this point, Kang was numb to his fucking shamelessness.

He sat on the dusty cough with a loud sigh.

'It feels good to be home... god.. I don't want to go anywhere....'

"Please sit, I'll bring some sandwiches," his brother offered to Altren.

The shameless guy, of course, accepted it and sat down in the small corner of the dusty couch.

Kang kicked his butt. "sit on the floor,"' he mouthed.

Altren showed a middle finger.

'This audacious bug!' he sat up and pushed him off.

Altren resisted. "Why are you being like that?" he whispered.

"Because you are taking my space."

"Is it because I'm taking your space or is it because I'm stealing your dear brother's attention. Kang you are a bro con."

Kang gasped. "you...'

"Zhuzhu what are you doing?" his brother came from the kitchen. "Is everything okay?" he frowned slightly.

Altren chuckled casually. "He found a big bug on my suit. Your brother graciously removed it for me. He's such a kind fellow."

"My Zhuzhu is the best."

"Of course, he was such a brave fellow. Even when so many villains surrounded him, he stood there bravely."

"I trained him to be like that. My Zhuzhu has always been good at whatever he does."

"Yes yes,"

The hero and the villain took turns in praising Kang. All the while he was sitting there with a dull look in his eyes. 'Brother dearest why are you even indulging him, its embarrassing me.. This guy is lying through his teeth. His good boy image is all a lie. He is an evil incarnate.'

Gwyn stopped for a while smiling sweetly. "So how and where did you find him?"

Kang sat up. 'Ah ha, my brother is coming to the point. This stupid guy's lies are going to be revealed...'

To his surprise, Altren did not falter. "He was kept in a very distant facility outside the city. My uncle and I were on the way to check on something and came across him. He had fainted and forgotten everything that happened there."

"No..." Kang silently hugged him. he did not wish to lie to him, but he did not wish to tell him the truth either. Gwyn hated heroes. He hated even associating with him.

He was trying his best to appease Altren only because Gwyn misunderstood that he saved his life.

"I won't let anything happen to you again.. I promise... I promise you with my life. My Zhuzhu I won't let them take you....."

Kang nodded.

"I have a way," Altren suddenly added.

Kang glared at him. 'Don't make unnecessary trouble, eat your sandwich and go!'

"I can help him get into mighty lights academy,"

Kang felt his rationality crack at that point. He wanted to jump and hit that stupid man's head. 'ahhhhh idiot! Do you have a death wish! Gwyn hates heroes! He will kill you for even suggesting it!! Your brain must be replaced...'

"I agree, that's a good plan,"

"w-what?" Zhu Kang glanced up at him. "I think I heard you wrong?"

Gwyn sat down beside him, hugging him close. "I think it's a great idea. You can stay there without being in danger of the snakehead gang. And.. Didn't you want to be a hero... it's win win..."

Kang looked at him deeply. "Do you mean it? Then I would become a hero... don't you hate them?"

"I hate incompetent and cold-hearted heroes. But Zhuzhu.., I know you would be the kindest and the bravest superhero. So it's okay..."

Zhu Kang silently nodded. "Okay... I'll become a hero... then what about you.. won't you become one as well?"
