The gods

In a dark and decrepit hallway filled with blood, a small black-haired boy was sitting next to corpses. The boy was crying. He kept begging for his mommy and daddy to come back.

then a black figure of a man with a knife appeared behind him. the knife was a bloody, combat knife with a black handle. The shadow of the man suddenly swung down at the boy's left shoulder.

. . .

Alec erupted out of bed with a scream; and cold sweet on his face. Then, the door busted open. "kid, are you alright?! I heard you scream, and I just..."

"I'm fine, Achak, just a nightmare." Alec's breathing started to slowdown. "And why are you calling me kid?"

"Do you have any idea how old i am?"

"The same age as me, 16?"

Achack started to laugh. "you're way off. I'm -."

"But wait, I never beat you in battle."

"You may not have beaten me directly, but you beat me none the less."

To say Alec was surprised would be the understatement of the year. Never in his life did he expect to have a werewolf as a servent. All the worlds in Alec's mouth died in the course of one sentence.

"W-what?" Alec asked. "What are you talking about?"

"I thought I already explained, master. You beat me in the fight, so now I'm your servant."

"J-just give me a moment."

With all that said, five hours passed by, Alec was hanging out with Achak. Within that time, Achak had broken 5 console controllers and 1 keyboard and mouse.

"Hey, I'm going out," Alec yelled.

with that, Alec left the house. While walking down the road, Alec saw a man with a pack of swords (katanas) on his belt.

The man was wearing a crimson red cloak with a crimson red hat. His eyes were those of murder. He held this presence that would constantly scream DEATH.

The man suddenly stopped in the middle of the road. "Hey kid," he called out. "Let's have a 'little' dance. Hahahaha." The man cackled out maniacally.

Alec kept walking not thinking that the man was speaking to him. For Alec, it was like time stopped.

"Are you ignoring me, boy?" The man asked, with a face of pure evil.

The man charged at Alec with one of his blades. Alec tried to dodge, but the man was too fast. The man sliced Alec's arm. Lucky for Alec, the man didn't have his longest blade, so it didn't cut very deep.

Status, Alec thought.

What's AP, Alec thought, expecting an answer.

<Master, AP stands for ability points. You can buy 1 Ability, like your fire control.>

What abilities can I get, Alic questioned, in his head.

<For 1 AP point there's not much you can get. Luckily for you, I can get you a discount.>

<Necromancy: 5AP--> 1Ap>

<Earth swallow: 10AP--> 1AP>

Wait, why is everything so low with my discount? Alec questioned the system, in his head.

<Well, that's easy, I feel generous today.>

Well, I'll take whatever I can get, Alec thought. Earth swallow.

With that, a flash of light came and went, within the span of a millisecond. Alec yelled out, "Earth Swallow" but the cloaked man dogged and went straight for Alec. Alec kept trying to dodge, but the man was faster and far more superior.

Crap, Alec thought. I can't fight this dude, I'm gunna have to run.

With that, Alec ran as fast as his legs could take him.

<Skill: Sprint has been created.> Alec heard in his head, but he just kept running.

he heard multiple dings go off in his head. It was like a storm of ding, and with every DING. He seemed to get faster and faster.

He was so fast. He was out running the bloody man. When Alec finally got time to stop and take a breather, he heard the same man approaching. Within an instant, Alec ran into an ally way. He, accidentally, bumped into a pole sticking out of a building.

Doing that, it triggered a series of events that would lead Alec to become the man he is today.

The world became blood red. The man was no longer with Alec, and Alec was surrounded by people, more like things, that felt familiar.

"Hey, welcome back boss," exclaimed a girl with violet eyes.

She had the figure of a goddess. she, easily, was the most beautiful woman Alec had ever seen. She had blond hair that was put in a ponytail. The end of the ponytail was the length of her shoulder blades

Standing to her left was a man with an orange beard. He had a figure that looked like a dwarf. His eyes were those that have seen many things. He wore a sad smile.

Standing to her right was another woman with eyes filled with longing. She had blue and black hair. She, too, looked like a goddess. Her hair was as black as the night sky.

The dwarf looking man spoke up, "It wasn't supposed to be for another 50 years, though."

"So, what does that matter, Agni?" the last female said, in a tone that desired for someone.

"Lilith, shut it," the girl who spoke first said.

"NO. You can shut it, Sarah," the girl, now known as Lilith, said.

. . .

One moment, Alec was just walking down the street, to replace the things Achak had broke. The next, he was sitting, dumbfounded, watching people bickering.

Alec stood up, but right as he was about to walk away, the weirdos looked right at him. At once, all of them started to scream apologies at him: stuff like "I'm so sorry master" to "Please forgive our rudeness, my king".

Alec looked at them, and with an odd glance from Alec, they responded. It was like they knew what Alec was going to say; before he even said it.

"My liege, please, would you allow this undeserving servent speak?" Sarah said, holding back a laugh. "Oh, my, you. That is the funniest joke I've told in the last century."

"Wow, your jokes must be lame, with a capital L," Agni said. "You want the master of jokes to teach you?"

"OH! WOULD YOU REALLY?"

"Yep, just say the magic words."

"Pwease?" She said, with puppy dog eyes.

"You have found my one weakness, but how?"

"That's easy, I-."

"What is going on?!" Alec yelled, annoyed they just went off when they were just speaking to him.

"OH, right," Lilith said. "You still don't remember us, or your past."

She then put a hand on his head. They all waited for something to happen, nothing did.

"UHHH, is this supposed to happen?" questioned Agni. "Like, do you remember any of us?"

"What?" was the only thing Alec could say. He wasn't expecting to have been running from a psychopath. Then be speaking to nutjobs.

"Hey, Lilith! You sure you did it right?" Agni questioned.

"Yes. The only reason that this would be happening would be because some outside force is messing with his mind."

There they go again, thought Alec. What even are they talking about?

It took about an hour to stop their off and on arguing, and acting like Alec wasn't there. If Alec were, to be honest, then he would say, he felt a sense of familiarity from the group.
