4 4. The Mysteries of the Rock

After finishing up with, ridding myself of my previous lunch. I decided to look around and see if this cave is actually safe or not. "Hey, Benji, I'm not sue if all of these bodies in this cave is a good sign." "Do not worry sir there are no threats from what I can tell, and if there were you could run." "You seem as overconfident in my abilities as ever." "Sir, I believe that you would be able to run even if for a small time." At least one of us is confident, but Benjamin isn't the one walking around the corpse littered room now is he. "No sir, I am not." Damn, forgot he can hear me, anyway back to the cave and potential impending doom.

"Well sir, it seems if this cave is safe then you will have completed the quest." "What do you mean?" "Well sir, the cave is shelter, there is water in the cave, and you have hunted game for you to eat. The only thing that you have to do now is survive and if there really isn't anything in the cave then one accomplishment under your belt." He's right all I need to do is check this cave and all of this will be mine for the eating. Well at least I haven't found anything in here that is dangerous, or alive for that matter. As I walk around the small pond in the center of the cave I begin to hear a faint noise. I don't know what the noise is but it seems animalistic. As I keep walking the noise becomes stronger until I can hear a quiet growl. "Sir, I think running may now be in your best interest." "Sorry Benji, but now I have to find out what is in this cave."

"Well sir, I can not stop you so all I will say is, be careful." "Thanks, for your concern, I won't die in this cave." Now, what is this cave hiding. That noise doesn't sound threatening, I think it sounds more like the animal is in pain. Now I need to find it. After searching for what was far too long I found the animal.

"Sir be very cautious, this wolf is a type of magical wolf called Crimson fang, these are very strong beasts with powerful fire magic." "It looks injured to me, I'm not sue if caution is necessary." "Sir, I mean no disrespect when I say this but that is very dumb of you to say, these animals are very territorial especially towards other wolves and humans. When injured they are very aggressive and are unlike their usually passive nature." "Well, have they been domesticated." "Yes sir they have but only by strong people that can defeat one, even so they are very loyal and will stay by their masters side."

"So, what do you think I should do?" "I recommend that you kill it sir, in its weakened state this animal would be an easy target, you might even level up." "Sorry Benji but I think I'd rather go with option one." Now how to tame this thing. "Well sir I do not want to encourage this because this could get you killed but the best way to tame them is to feed them and the effect is amplified when they are starving or injured." So I should butcher one of the animals and feed the wolf some of the meat from it. The only problem with that plan is that I have no idea how to do that. "Sir all you need is to find a rabbit and pull hard enough in the right spot and the skin will come off. Then all that is left is for you to gut it and done you have a meal sir."

After doing what Benjamin told me to and cleaning the rabbit I now have something that I can feed myself and the wolf. Also Benjamin decided to let me complete the quest and gave me the rewards. these are my stats.
