2 Chapter 2

The first thing I sensed was the music. Loud and definitely a good choice for a party.

"Host, now's not the time. Your current name is Ni Lai, son of a successful businessman and owner of multiple clubs worldwide. Currently you're at one of your nightclubs celebrating its opening."

"Is the main character here?"

"The female lead is from a more conservative family and has never been to a nightclub. Currently she is not here."

"Hmm so it's a female lead?"

"Please do not chase after the female lead. Due to the world's laws she has a 100% chance of ending up with the male lead."

Not like I would anyways but okay.

Opening my eyes I was immediately hit by flashing lights.

"Heyy he's up," someone yelled, "Glad you could make it, party boy."

"That's Yi Kang, the son of your father's friend and also your bodies current best friend. When we transferred you over your body looked like it passed out for a few minutes, so he's been guarding you along with the rest of that group."

After giving my eyes a minute to adjust, I could see what Zero(000's agreed upon nickname) meant. There were five of them total sitting together on a rounded booth; he was in the middle. The table in front of them was filled with all sorts of wine and delicacies, but the group wasn't focused on that.

The two sitting closest to me was a blonde guy and Yi Kang. Glancing towards Yi Kang, I gave him a tired look.

"Ah'Lai, you finally made it," one of them said.

Another chimed in, "You're lucky Jana hasn't performed yet, we thought you'd miss it."

I blinked, "Wait, who the fuck is Jana?"

"Host, Ni Lai wasn't the kind of person to swear. He was more chill with the occasional interest in girls."

Ignoring the system, I watched the reactions of the people at the table.

"He's probably too drunk to remember," the blonde one said, lightly smiling.

I could see the look in his eyes; it was different that Yi Kang's. Greed. Something I was well aware of. My lips curled. This was going to be fun.

"Ah you're right," I said, turning towards him, "no wonder it's so hot." I leaned over until my lips barely grazed his ear. "It seems my hands are clumsier than usual too, would you mind unbuttoning my shirt a little?"

He shuddered, a pink blush spreading over his cheeks, but his hands still moved. Smirking, I lightly bit his ear.

"Thanks babe."

"Host, you only called him that because you don't know his name, right?"

Hmm, Zero, you're getting smarter. Keep it up.

Backing away from Blondie, I turned back towards the others and smiled.

"You got a problem?"

They shook their heads.

Leaning back, I crossed my arms, "So does anyone feel like answering my question?"

Surprisingly, the one who answered wasn't the other four, but Blondie. "M-my sister," he said, "you said you liked her and invited her to be one of the singers for the club's premier."

I couldn't help but laugh. Who knew how that girl would feel if she knew her brother was greedy for the body of her suiter. Leaning my head on his shoulder I whispered, "But why can't I help but like you so much more."

"I-I'm going to use the bathroom," Blondie said, hiding his red face.

Hey, Zero, I'm the same age as the female lead, right? Can you arrange for me to go to her school? I'd do it myself but it looks like I'm going to be busy tonight.

Sighing, Zero agreed. It should still count as the Host getting girls even if the Host got guys instead, right?

Pretending to take a phone call, I winked at Yi Kang.

"Sorry guys, looks like I've got something to do," after waving to them, I made my way to the bathroom.
