TOO CLOSE TO ELECTRIC MATERIAL

I flew past the lightbulb and settled on a wall nearby it. I had thought of a great plan to collect nutrition for my deal with Vava. If I waited for the light object to kill some flies, I could collect a couple bodies and hand over half to Vava. So, I waited and counted down as each fly was zapped to the next life.

One fly broke away from their group. It was wobbly. Probably drunk on sugars. Its' group called for it to come back.

"I told you the Sunny gets low and comes down to see me. Look, we're meant for --," it never completed its' sentence because it got caught in the light and died.

The group groans and moves on.

A solo fly came by and saw the light. It flew around it at a few times and then hovered in one spot. Finally, it slowly got closer and closer to the light.

"To the next place!!" it screamed before charging for the light.

It was zapped and bounced off the object to the ground.

Sweet. I flew down and grabbed the body. I pulled it over to the side and hid it underneath a leaf. I didn't want anything to steal my stash, so I sat down below until more bodies came along.

Sometimes a moth would come by, but the smart ones flew circles around the light and then moved on. All the dumb moths got caught in the shell of the light. They were zapped past well done. Nothing would be left of them when the sunny was high.

When I collected a good amount of organic material, I put it all on the leaf and began dragging it away. I had not noticed I was being monitored the entire time.

FLYING ANIMAL INCOMING

JEWEL WASP IDENTIFIED

I had never heard of a jewel wasp. What does a jewel wasp look like? I turned my head to see and dropped low as it came charging at me.

ROLL TO THE LEFT

I rolled to the left and became stuck on my back.

'Why did I roll onto my back? What kind of mess is this?! I'mma die now!"

"Mmmmmm. Don't move now. I have some business with your body. Mmmmm," the jewel wasp moaned pleasantly at me.

It creeped me out. What kind of predator moaned while it was attacking you? A freak psycho predator, that's who.

ACTIVATING SWORD POINTS

"What?" I muttered at the voice.

My limbs tensed up and I felt like they had become heavier.

The jewel wasp lowered itself down near my wildly waving limbs. All six of my legs shook and I tried to push it farther away from me, but they felt so heavy. The emerald green beast moaned and reached out a limb towards me.

"Mmmmm, so smart. You will make a great vessel for my babies. Mmmmm, be still now. It doesn't hurt."

SPIRAL ROTATING MANEUVER

TWIRLING SWORDS OF WRATH

I didn't question the odd words. I was too creeped out by the moaning beast approaching me. Then when it got within reach of one of my limbs, my body started to do something strange. It began to twirl. My limbs moved outward as I twirled.

"AAaaaaah!" The beast screamed as it was cut multiple times from my powerful twirling limbs.

It rose up above my twirling form and was dripping blood from several areas. My limbs had cut off one of its limbs and angered the beast.

"I didn't wanna hurt you! It's painless! But now I'm gonna have to teach you a lesson!!"

The jewel wasp's stinger grows and it zooms away from me.

AVOIDANCE ADVISED

RETREAT TO HOME TERRITORY

I twirled off my back and onto my legs. I didn't want to leave behind my spoils, so I went back and grabbed my leaf. I could already see the tunnels from where I was. I started toward the closest one, but heard that creepy voice again.

"Ahahahaha. All I wanted was to treat you, right! You disgusting roach! Take this!!"

HARDENING SHELL

Stinger first, the jewel wasp hit me in the back of the head.

MIND CONTROL VEMON NEUTRALIZED

The stinger got caught in my hardened shell.

"AAAAAh! Release me beast!"

The entire situation irritated me.

' I'm the beast? I was just minding my own business.'

I released the leaf to steady myself.

INITIATING SPIRAL ROTATING MANUEVER

My bdy twirls in several circles.

"Aaaaaaah!"

The green beast stinger was lodged too deeply in my shell to break off. The twirling definitely disoriented it.

'Wait. Stop this twirling.'

My body stopped twirling and I start scurrying toward the nearest tunnel with the jewel wasp unwillingly coming along. It kept fluttering it's wings to pull me off the ground and stop my scurrying.

INCREASING SPEED

I scurried faster than I had ever scurried before. I zoomed into the the tunnel, and heard a loud snap and scream. The stinger snapped off the wasps' body, and the wasp couldn't fit inside the tunnel. Its' body hit the wall above me and crumpled to the ground.

ACTIVATING STEEL MANDIBLES

VENUS FLY BITE

I didn't know what all those words meant, but I did know that bite means bite. I definitely was going to bite that crazy wasp. I exit the tunnel and see the wasp crawling away. It is shaking its head and getting ready to take off into the air.

Too late. I scurry over to the green beast and climb its back. It can't take off as my body restristed its' wings.

"Ugh," The wasp wriggled and tried to throw me off.

I walk on its back and up to its wriggling head. I chomped down on its head.

"Mmmmm. What a nice head you have. Delicious to chew on," I moaned as I chewed the wasps head.

Now that things were turned back on the wasp, it doesn't seem as happy.

"Aaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!"

It screamed and hollered as I ate. I stopped when its body stopped moving. I dropped the body onto the leaf and started again for the nearest tunnel. Vava can take this as payment for a few cycles. The spoiled roach will probably never leave that "bathroom".

My mission was blessed by the star-lords. No dirty wasp was going to stop it.
