1 Prologue

My heart was going to explode. Here I was, freshly 19, 4 months pregnant and about to walk down the aisle with the greatest man I had ever known. He was handsome with his dark hair and piercing eyes. We hadn't known each other long and I knew he would have this amazing impact on the rest of my life.

It was cold that day in late March as the rain lazily drizzled a calming song down onto us. I sat with my father, watching the rain trying to slow my screaming heart and wait for my beloved to pull up in his Dodge Dakota.

"Are you ready?"

He questioned.

"Yeah, this is going to change my whole life. I'm nervous though."

At this he nodded in agreement and we rose walking towards the tiny bed and breakfast that was going to seal my fate. I heard his Dodge pulling up and my heart raced faster and faster.

I had never been so sure about anything in my life as I was marrying this man. He walked to greet me with a michevious grin plastered to his face. I was starting a family. I was going to be the best wife and mother the world would ever know.

We walked hand in hand into that tiny building, with nothing but happiness and dreams in our hearts.
