2 Chapter 2: Teasing Her Cute Little Maid

The woman let out a sound as pain coursed through her body. Confusion and fear filled her thoughts. What was happening to her? She opened her eyes.

"Quick! This girl is waking up. We have to go now!" Urged the child's voice to the person beside them. "Don't waste any time, let's move before it's too late."

"Let's stay here," suggested one kid.

"But what if we get caught?" another worried.

"Relax," said the first. "We're safe. She won't breathe a word of this to anyone."

She stood up, holding her head where she felt a bump. They had apparently been hitting her body.

"Hey trash, good to see you're awake. It's no fun hitting an unconscious person."

She was observing the individual speaking to her, a young girl aged between ten and twelve,as she rose to her feet.

"Excuse me, but I must ask - did you happen to strike me just now?" She questioned with narrowed stare.

"You deserved to get hit, that's why we hit you," said the arrogant young girl.

"Yeah. What Huiling says is true. As the trash you should have died already." Another girl joined.

Two other girls joined, echoing the same sentiment. 'Too noisy.' She took action, and within seconds, those who had previously been causing a disturbance were now writhing in pain on the ground.

The once arrogant young girl now asked in a fearful tone, "How do you do this?"

She did not answer that question. Right now, she was bad-mouthing the handsome man that sent her here.

"Twelve years ago, it was supposed to disappear. So, how did it end up here?" The man questioned with a tone of assertiveness.

"I don't know." The old man sighed. Honestly, he really did not know that.

"Master... The fated person we have been waiting for has finally shown up again! Can you believe it? I am feeling pretty ecstatic about this news - how about you?" The man could not hide his happiness and excitement at the thought of this long-awaited event finally happening.

"Yes." The old man smiled.

Bai Xifeng arrived at the courtyard that was supposed to be hers. Upon inspection, she found that it was quite ordinary. She entered her room, but noticed that her clothes were dirty. 'I need to change my clothes and take a bath,' she thought to herself.

Bai Xifeng sighed, unsure of what to do. Suddenly, she remembered she had a maid. 'Where did she go?' she wondered. Just as she thought that, a cute girl came running in and stopped in front of Bai Xifeng.

"Young Miss, thank goodness you are alright." The cute maid exclaimed, grabbing Bai Xifeng's shoulder and glancing around anxiously.

Bai Xifeng thought, ' This is my supposed maid. Wait, what is her name?' She searched through her memories. 'Oh, it's Xiao Li.'

"Xiao Li, I want to take a bath." Bai Xifeng said lazily. Since the handsome King Yama put her here, she is going to try to enjoy life there.

Xiao Li sensed something was amiss with her young miss, but she couldn't pinpoint the issue. Despite her intuition, she went to prepare the water for her young miss's bath.

"Young Miss, the bath is ready." Xiao Li informed her young miss.

Bai Xifeng did not wait any longer. She opened her clothes boldly.

Xiao Li was shocked when her young miss suddenly opened her clothes. "Young Miss, don't open the clothes."

Bai Xifeng was confused. She could not understand why she could not remove her clothes to take a bath. She wondered if people in ancient times used to bathe while wearing their clothes. If that was the case, she could not comprehend how they kept themselves clean. It certainly did not seem like a hygienic practice.

"Why? I want to take a bath." Bai Xifeng asked Xiao Li anyway.

I mean, you cannot open your clothes here. You should go behind that curtain." Xiao Li said in an embarrassed tone.

"What? There is no one here." Bai Xifeng said.

'I'm here too, Young Miss." Xiao Li was embarrassed to look at her young miss.

Bai Xifeng suddenly felt like teasing her own maid by saying, "You don't have to be shy since we are girls. Come and take a bath with me." Bai Xifeng said in a seducing tone.

"Young Miss." Xiao Li screamed. She ran outside leaving her young miss alone inside the room.

Bai Xifeng laughed when looking at her maid retreating like that. She felt that it was cute of her to get embarrassed like that.

Bai Xifeng finished opening her clothes. The ancient times clothes were difficult to wear and take off. She was relaxing.
