Awakening in Melromarc

Moroha awakens inside the summoning room with the other three heroes.

Moroha(Thinking): I am finally here, I have the shield and the dog tag for Salatiga and I can feel the prana flowing within me and in the air. This is amazing I get to be a hero of this world and I won't make the same mistake naofumi made in the beginning I am planning on going to the slave trader to get Raphtalia as fast as I can because I want to save Rifana from dying in that dungeon because I don't want such a innocent girl to die like that so as soon as I get my money I am heading strait there.

Ren: I Refuse

*When Moroha heard this line he snapped out of his inner thought and paid attention to what was going on around him*

Itsuki: Likewise

Motoyasu: We can go back to our world, right? We'll talk about your problems after that.

Ren: Don't you guys feel any guilt at all for bringing us here without our consent?

Itsuki: And if you send us home as soon as peace is restored we'd have worked for nothing.

*They then take us to the throne room but on our way there we can see the outside world and what you see is like they where in a developing world like in the medieval time in Europe*

Moroha: So this is a new world huh-?

Motoyasu: We don't know for sure yet but seems like it.

Itsuki:Yes it is very interesting and I want to learn more about this place.

*They then lead us to the throne room*

King: So these men are the Four Cardinal Heroes of ancient legend? I am the king of Melromarc, Aultcray Melromarc XXXII. Heroes, name yourselves.

Ren: Amaki Ren, sixteen years old, high schooler.

Motoyasu: I'm Kitamura Motoyasu. Twenty-one and a college student.

Itsuki: I suppose I'm up next. Kawasumi Itsuki, Seventeen years old, and a high schooler.

King: I see. Ren, Motoyasu, and Itsuki, huh?

Moroha: Excuse my rudeness King Aultcray but for some reason we have accidentally over looked me.

King:Hmm? Oh, forgive me please say your name to us all.

Moroha: My name is Moroha Haimura, fifteen years old, high schooler.

King: Now, I suppose I owe you an explanation.My country, Melromarc, and the entire world is headed toward destruction.

*This is the rundown of the situation*

This world has an apocalyptic prophecy, which mentions "Waves" that will leas to the world to ruin and reportedly appear in well, several waves.Unless the calamities won't by the waves are thwarted, the world will end Each country here has an ancient dragon hourglass which can predict the arrival of the Waves.The first wave washed over this country before we were summoned.Local knight and traveling adventurers managed to fend it off, But the Waves will be even more potent. The hourglass's sands will keep trickling as long as the waves keep coming... Currently less than a month remains until the second Wave.

King: We underestimated the Waves. We realized once we actually experienced one that only the Four Cardinal Heroes could counter them. And so, we followed the legend and summoned you four. We have no time to lose!

Moroha(Thinking): This is taking forever I know all this I want to get on my way already!

Ren: We get the gist of it now.Anyway, surely you didn't summon us expecting us to save you for free.

Random Minister: Of corse, once you repel all the Waves, we shall reward you handsomely.

Motoyasu: Will you ,now? Well, as long as we have your word.

Ren: We'll work with you provided you don't turn on us.But don't think for a moment that you can tame us.

Itsuki: Exactly. We can't have you looking down on us.

Moroha:...

King: I trust we have a agreement.then, heroes, you should all check your statuses.

Itsuki:Uh...

Ren:What is wrong with you guys?It should've been the first thing you noticed in this world.

*Motoyasu and Itsuki do an embarrass blush*

Motoyasu and itsuki: Well uh we did not know.

Ren: So what are we supposed to do?

Random Minister: You must leave on an adventure to develop and upgrade the legendary weapons that you have equipped.

Motoyasu: Couldn't we just wield other weapons until these are usable?

Ren: We can figure that out as we go.Anyway, it looks like we ought to train ourselves.

Itsuki: We'll have to level up as much as we can. So we should form a party.

Random Minister: One moment, heroes. you will each recruit and adventure separately.

Itsuki: And why is that?

Random Minister: it is said that the legendary weapons repel one another by nature. If you work together, it apparently hinders their development.

Moroha: Did you three not know that? Look in the guild book in your system and you can clearly see that there and more important information as well.

King: The sun is about to set. Rest up tonight, and set forth tomorrow. In the meantime we'll gather the best of the best to form your parties.

Motoyasu: I guess you get special treatment when you're heroes of legend.The girl who showed us here was a cutie pie, too.

Itsuki: And our dinner was sumptuous, though it did taste unusual,But don't you think that this is like a game?

Ren: Ya they sound nothing alike.

Motoyasu: I thought we might just be from different eras, but I guess not, if they're so different.

Moroha: But you guys have a advantage over me because you have experience over me from your games while I don't have anything it was just a concept in my world. And what is with that look?

Itsuki: W-Well, I just thought it might be because you are the Shield Hero.

Motoyasu: Oh, you too?

Ren: It's only natural.

Moroha: Do you have a problem with the shield?

Motoyasu: As far. as I know, the shielder, the class that specializes in the shield...is one for losers. No high- level gamers play it.

Moroha: I doubt that because each member has a important roll, the sword and spear are middle men and to the most damage while the bow is long range and firing from a distance and the shield is the one drawing agro and allowing the other to deal the damage. Actually no weapons is more important then the other because without the shield who is going to draw the agro so the rest can deal damage? Hmmm...

Ren: He does make a point so lets not go around disrespecting each other alright we all are the Four Cardinal Heroes after all.

Motoyasu: Anyway how is the terrain here?

Ren: Very similar to what I'm familiar with.

Itsuki: Each weapon has its own ideal hunting ground, so let's spread out.

*Moroha walks away to go to the balcony outside and takes look at his new world at night*

Moroha(Thinking): I am excited about this and what this world has in store for me and how the people will treat the shield hero when he is not a convicted felon. either way my first priority it to get Raphtalia and armor us up.

Moroha: All right! I'm gonna give it my all!

Motoyasu: R-Right. We have to set out on adventures tomorrow.let's head to our rooms and get a good night's sleep.

Itsuki: Do you think there are baths here?

Motoyasu:it's quite likely you'll have to go outdoors.

*All 4 Heroes Enter the throne room with people staring at them in awe with a line of adventures in front of them beside the king*

King: We have gathered brave warriors who will fight the Waves with you legendary heroes.

Moroha(Thinking): So if I remember correctly everyone is going to the other heroes and no one will pick me and then myne will try to join my party but this time I will deny her offer and run solo.

King: Now, our future champions! Time to begin your journey!

*The adventures then choose there heroes*

Moroha(thinking): Just as I thought no one picked me perfect!

Moroha: King Aultcray it seems I will not have a party member at the moment so may I receive extra funds so in the future I may find a possible member?

King: I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this.

*A person whispers into the king ear*

King: so there have been rumors.

Motoyasu: Did something happen?

King: Well rumors that the shield Hero is ignorant of this world have spread around town. Legend says the heroes come with a firm understanding of our lands.And they think he doesn't meet that criteria.

*Motoyasu leans over to Moroha*

Motoyasu: Maybe someone was eavesdropping on our chat last night.

Moroha: Ya I think so too but I will be fine on my own don't worry about it I will find a way.

Myne: Sir Hero! would you allow me to join the Shield Hero?

Motoyasu: Are you sure?

Myne: Yes!

Moroha: No thank you I will be fine since clearly Motoyasu was your first pick that means you prefer to work with him than with me so I rather not separate the two of you, so I do not mind going at this alone for now.

Myne:*clicks tongue*

Moroha(Thinking): There is your true colors you Bitch!

King: Are you sure about this Shield Hero?

Moroha: Yes I am fine with this.

King: I suppose we'll have to take other measures. Mr.Haimura, you will have to recruit for your party yourself.

Moroha: Of course King Aultcray.

King: Every month , we shall provide each hero with the funds they require.This time Mr.Haimura payment will be higher than the others. Here are your initial war chests. Please accept them.

Random Minister: Mr.Haimura gets 900 Silver coins. The others get 600.

King: Use this to procure all necessary equipment and set forth on your journey.

All 4 Heroes: Yes, Sir!

*All heroes and there party exit the castle*

Itsuki: It's sad that we can't help you but good luck with your recruiting.

Moroha:Bye have a safe journey the lot of you! Alright first things first getting Raphtalia from the slave trader.

* After running around the capital we arrive at the slave trade tent*

Moroha: So this is the place, just as sketchy as I thought it would be for a slave trader.

Slave Trader: Oh what do we have hear one of the Four Cardinal Heroes, so what can I do for you Shield Hero?

Moroha: I am looking for a Demi-human slave.

Slave Trader: I see, how about we go take a look inside my shop?

Moroha: Yes let's go take a look.

As they enter the tent I see many cages full of beast like humans that are wild and dangerous. But eventually he leads Moroha down to where the Demi-Humans are kept.

Slave Trader: Here we are these are the Demi-Humans I have to offer.

Eventually Moroha spots Raphtalia and says to the Slave Trader.

Moroha: I want that young raccoon Demi-human girl.

Slave Trader: Are you sure? She is very sickly and is almost her time if you get what I mean.

Moroha: Yes I want her.

Slave Trader: Ok let me prepare the crest so you can become her master.

After a couple of minutes he has prepared the ink for Moroha to put his blood to finish the master and slave pact.

Slave Trader: Ok I need you to use this knife to cut yourself and put drops of your blood into the ink so I can make her your slave.

Moroha: Ok

Moroha then cuts himself on his finger and adds drops of his blood then the Slave Trader uses a brush and draws a circle on Raphtalia crest that is on her chest.

Raphtalia: Ahhh!

She cries out in pain from the crest activating and after a couple seconds of crying out in pain the light dies down and I see in my party list she has been added to it but without a name.

Moroha crouches down to her and asked her

Moroha: What is your name young one?

Raphtalia: *Cough-Cough* m-my name is Raphtalia.

Moroha: My name is Moroha Haimura and I am going to be our master from now on so first things first lets get you some new cloths sweetie but first lets heal you!

Raphtalia: Ok

Moroha(thinking): This is my first time opening up the shop in the new world I am excited about this. Open Shop!

A bright green light appears on Moroha hand and a potion appears.

Moroha: Here drink this, this will help you.

Raphtalia: Yes master.

Raphtalia then drinks the potion and heals her completely

Raphtalia: I am healed?

Moroha: Of course I am going to be taking care of you now, I will be your family.

Raphtalia then breaks down in tears and hugs me bawling her eyes

Raphtalia: Thank you-Thank you So much master!

After a couple of minutes and Raphtalia calms down then Moroha payed the Slave Trader and left with Raphtalia

Moroha and Raphtalia then traveled to the Blacksmith to get there weapons and armor.

* As they enter the store*

Blacksmith: Welcome to my shop what are you looking for?

Moroha: I am looking for a set of armor for myself and this young girl and a weapon for her as well got anything?

Blacksmith: Sure let me check.

After a couple of minutes he came back with Raphtalia original starting clothes and came out with a set of armor for me that looked awfully familiar from a past life.

Blacksmith: I think these armors are the best suited for the two of you so go try them on.

*After a couple of minutes they came out wearing the new clothes.

Moroha: Hmm looks good to me, and Raphtalia you look very cute too.

Raphtalia:T-Thank you master.

Blacksmith: Looking good kid And little miss.

Moroha: How much do I owe you?

Blacksmith: For the armors and the weapon for the little miss that is about 150 silver.

Moroha: Alright here you go.*Hands over the money*

Blacksmith: Pleasure doing business with you come back any time when you want a upgrade k Kid.

Moroha: Thank you have a good day, come on Raphtalia lets go get something to eat.

Moroha: You know lets go to the nearest restaurant.

The walk into a restaurant that has a sign saying no Demi-humans.

Raphtalia: Uh master ?

Moroha: Don't worry about it it will be fine.

Moroha and Raphtalia take a seat at the restaurant and eat dinner as time moved on Raphtalia started to grow closer to Moroha. After dinner they when to a inn for the night and checked in and got a room for them both and as they are getting ready for bed.

Moroha: Raphtalia?

Raphtalia: Yes master?

Moroha: Tomorrow we are going to save your people from that dungeon that you where once in.

Raphtalia: What how did you know about that?

Moroha: I know a lot more than you think but first things first saving your people and moving them some place safe.

Raphtalia: Really !!

Moroha: Yes so tomorrow we will make our way there and at night we will strike to save your people.

Raphtalia: Thank you so much master, but I am too scared to go.

Moroha: Don't worry I am here and I will help you and your people no one deserves this kind of treatment.

Raphtalia: Thank you master!

Moroha: Alright now lets get to bed we will have a hell of a day.

Raphtalia: Ok master.
