3 More information on the snakes

I was lying comfortably in my bed until I felt the sun shining on my face. I was annoyed at the fact that the sun was shining on my face since in my last life I only slept for three hours at most so that I wouldn't be caught by the authorities when they are on to me. I then forced myself to get up and prepare for the day to explore the city.

But before I could do that, I still had to test the limits of the snakes, so I called both of them to me and waited for them to arrive. After a few minutes of waiting one of the snakes dropped from above thanks to one of the vents in the ceiling and was able to not crack the flooring. While the other came through another vent from the side, I then had both of them tell me if anyone tried to break into my home.

The snake that fell from the ceiling, didn't have anything to say it only saw some flying cars and a flying carrier called trauma team pass by. The other snake did see a mailman drop a package in front of my door and left. I was interested to see what was in the package, so I sent the snakes to inspect it.

While they went to inspect the package, I spent the next few minutes on what I should where today. When I arrived last night, I checked the closet to see if there were any clothes for me, luckily for me the god was kind enough to send me clothes.

In the end I went for a black short sleeve shirt, with a long sleave jacket, I then went with some black pants and some steal toed shoes. For some reason I always were black clothing no matter the season.

After finding the clothes to were for the day I went to the bathroom and washed my face to help me wake up for the day. I then made my way towards my kitchen and went to make some breakfast for myself, while making some breakfast I tried to recall what the data chip explained about this world.

This world had destroyed every part of nature and only nuclear chemicals and fumes remained. I was disappointed at the fact that the 'corpos' only care about getting richer and not helping the world, then again back in my world most of the targets I had to kill where like the people here only caring for themselves and getting more money.

'No matter where I go things will stay the same, the rich are richer, and the poor are poorer.' I sighed to myself at the fact that we humans will only care for ourselves and try to survive the longest. By the time I finished making some breakfast for myself the two snakes returned and showed me what's in the box.

Inside the box was another one of those shards that was placed behind me head, and a gun, it looked like a sniper rifle. The scope was pink, and the body of the weapon looked like a anti-tank rifle. I inserted the shard and waited for the data to appear.

A screen appeared with a video and in the video the same God appeared. He congratulated me for surviving the night since the death rate is high, and many people try to mug the unsuspected people. he then explained that all types of legal and illegal business happen in this city, such as mercenary work, assassination, smuggling, and sex trafficking.

Once again my calm was broken on the amount of crime that happens in this city, I was even sure that this amount of crime would cause many people to riot and overthrow the entire police. But the people don't care and treat it as a normal thing. If paid enough the police would even look away and say nothing.

The God then explained more about the snakes, he then went on explaining they don't need to recharge since the amount of nuclear chemicals in the air is enough to power them for a couple of decades.

They even have the ability to turn invisible and can even restrict movements if they wrap the body, however if the person is strong enough, they can escape the binds, so it is recommended to find some strong arms and let the snakes eat them so they can overpower the person to prevent that from happening.

I was impressed on the number of abilities the snake had and sent a prayer of thanks in appreciation for the gifts. The gun in the box was a Techtronika SPT32, it was a bolt action sniper rifle made by a Russian company. The damage it can cause was very powerful enough to pierce through many things.

Although it is very powerful it is very heavy and if the user doesn't have a strong body, it will send the user flying, it may also be difficult to aim with the weapon itself. The scope can be replaced but sadly I can't add a muzzle to suppress the sound, it made me uncomfortable since I would rather use my venom to kill.

The god then told me to offer it to one of the snakes, I did as he said and the snake opened its jaw and swallowed the whole gun. The snake then trembled a bit and soon started to transform, it then copied the entire body of the sniper including the scope. The god continued to explain that it could imitate any gun that it eats and modify it to my needs.

I was impressed by the work he placed into these and was happy to see that at the end of the barrel was a muzzle. The video then ended when the god said his final words.

"Oh I almost forgot if you are going to get some eddies send your snakes to these locations, you'll be able to find some work for yourself. And Alabast since you have been sent to this world enjoy it to the fullest and make sure to entertain me. I look forward to when you die."

I removed the shard and destroyed it so that no one else can see what's inside. I then decided to send both of my snakes to find more iron and head to the locations that he mentioned to find some jobs.

"Time to make my appearance, I guess."
