18 The Failed Ambush

It was already Sunday and Fyro's family are celebrating of their fortune. Pedro prepared a lot of foods for their picnic in the swimming pool. It was a warm Sunday morning and the family were very happy to celebrate their fortune.

Yesterday Fyro was shocked because of the discovery of the dense fire elemental energy. When he asked her father about it, Pedro explained to him that he suspected this area to have a seed of a volcano when he first entered this area. He then explained to him that a mature volcano was formed over a thousand years or even a hundred thousands years if it was big.

Fyro then remembered that his father asked him if the warmness of the area affect him so much that he got confused to answer because if he told him that he can sense the fire energy because he was using it for his body cultivation, his father might get suspicious of him and might even know his secret.

A while later he was also surprised that his father closed his eyes and he was sensing the energy from the sorrounding, like he was also some kind of a cultivator like him. He was stunned for a moment before he patted his father in the shoulder and asked him what he was doing.

"I am absorbing the warm in this area, it feels so good to absorb the warm in your body." Pedro answered him with a smile. He was confused and a had a frown in his face.

"And what do you mean by that tatay?"

"Hmmn you are seems so young anak, that's why you don't understand, you can go uptairs now and find a suitable room for you. Now go on. I still need to meditate." Then he closed his eyes again and continued what he was doing.

Fyro became more suspicious of his father's actions. If he was not mistaken, his father was also a cultivator like him. He needed to be aware of the situation. What was his father intention of buying this house, did he really bought this on purpose for him to cultivate? Well whatever it was it still benefited him, that's why it doesn't matter anymore but he still need to be so cautious of his father. What if he would know that he was a cultivator, maybe he would kill him and get the stored energy in his dantian, so that he could get stronger by leap and bounds.

Fyro then went to the second floor and try to find a room suitable for him. No sooner he found it. It was a room with a set of cabinet. The room was devided into three parts, the bedroom, bathroom and the small library.

The bedroom has a medium sized bed which was suited for him. The bathroom was made of tiles and granite stone which complemdnted each other. It was devided into two parts the shower area and the toilet which had a big human sized mirror and a little cabinet above with full of toiletries.

The library has a lots of books like a complete set of encyclopedia and many volumes of reader's digest. In the small library, there was a study table and a chair which satisfied Fyro a lot. He went directly to the bed and slept.

When he woke up it was dinner time already, he tried to find the dinning area and later he was led by Fuego in the table.

His father prepared a feasty dinner. Well for his brothers and sister this was so new but for Fyro this was just a normal happenings. In the world of Gods in the higher realms a lots of Gods prepared a ten times bigger than this banquet to celebrate of their fortunes. So for him this was just normal.

After the dinner, Fyro went back to his room and proceed to his bed, he sat in a lutos position and started to cultivate. He still stabilizing the remaining small amount of pure energy from the hearth he ate. After fully stabilizing the remaining pure energy he began to open his pores and started to absorb the dense fire elemental energy, the energy surged from his body. His body was just like a hungry vaccum that sucked away the fire energy in the sorroundings. The fire energy was different from the pure energy that came from the hearth. The fire energy helps to refine the body, specially the blood vessels. When someone accumulated enough amount of fire energy inside his dantian he can use it to refine the blood vessels. The vessels well then transform into a bigger and flexible blood vessels. If it was cut by a sharp object the blood vessels will have the ability to regenerate in the short period of time. That's why fire energy was also important. Fyro continued to cultivate unaware of time runnin meticulously.

Fyro opened his eyes and was surprised to see it was already morning. The light that comes from the glass window was illuminating his room. He then casted a clean spell in his body and now he felt refresh again. When he came down to the dinning area he found out that his father and his three siblings are in the swimming sqpool. They had a lots of food in the ground near the swimming pool.

When they saw him coming out of the house they waved at him pointing him to come over. He hessitated for a while before he went over to them and said apolologetically.

"Tatay I am very sorry, I have much more important to attend to. I cannot join you today."

"Ohh really! well if it is more important then it's ok. do you have money?"

"No, but I don't need it anyway, I'm just going to attend the Choir practice with Kira."

"Hmm. My son is getting more matured now! is kira too pretty?"

"Oh no! you missinterpret it tatay. We are practicing together because we are the representative of our school in this upcoming interclass meet."

"Hehehe! Kuya is blushing! Don't worry kuya, I vote for Kira to be my future sister in law." Heathra added to the fire.

"Shut up! or else I won't help you with your home works!" Fyro then stared at her.

Heathra sneered and dived to the swimming pool and swam like a maniac who had just see a swimming pool.

"Hey Fyro, don't take it seriously, but really, I vote for Kira too." Fuego said and smiled at him sincerely.

"Me too" Flame answered while eating the hotdog he was holding.

"😣"

"Ok since all of you agrees with her, When are you going to bring her here in our house. I would like to meet her! By the way are you wearing the same clothes you wear yesterday? Pedro asked him seriously.

"Am I suppose to change my clothes when I am just going to a choir practice?" Fyro was startled he never knew how to answer his father curiosity that he used the clean spell to clean himself so he just played with it innocently.

"Anak, when you are meeting with a girl you need to look presentable so she will have a good impression with you! here accept this card, just drop by to robinson mall and purchase some good clothes before you go to your destination." Then Pedro handed over the card to him.

"And what is this? I don't know how to use this."

"Oh I am sorry, just give it to the cashier you don't have to do anything."

"Ok, thank you tatay!"

After he received the card he never go to Robinson mall he just continue to his destination.

'I don't need to waste time anymore. The ambush will begin soon!' He thought and ran as fast as lightning.
