364 Chapter 364: War and Expeditionary Force

After entering the forest, the Argentine soldiers deliberately concealed their tracks. The footprints on the snowy ground were hastily wiped away, and even camouflage was applied around to obscure the direction in which the Argentine forces had retreated.

Concerned about a possible ambush, Lucas Fonte ordered his soldiers to search for a while without any success. Eventually, he had to choose to lead the troops in retreat.

However, just as he was about to issue the retreat order, one of his soldiers suddenly reported that they had found the body of an Argentine soldier not far ahead.

The body seemed to have recently died, and blood was still flowing from the wound on the abdomen. It appeared that the Argentine soldier had been abandoned when his comrades realized he was beyond saving.

To Lucas Fonte, the body itself didn't hold much value, as the evidence he had already collected was enough to prove that the invading force was composed of Argentine soldiers.
