45 Rage

Shirohi lounged in his room, intently watching Hanhai squirm around in her crib. Hanhai was quickly becoming more and more active despite sleeping a lot, he was sad that he would have to leave her behind… he couldn't guarantee her safety if he took her… something he hated to admit, grinding his teeth in frustration he stood up and walked to the crib, gently rubbing Hanhai's cheek he softly spoke, "You might not understand… but papa will be leaving, he will come back victorious, even if I have to burn all but a sliver of my lifeforce I will return to you… my precious child…"

Transferring half of his chakra pool into a ball floating above his index finger he closed his eyes to concentrate, focusing on his insights into the manipulation of chakra, 'Clockwork', and every jutsu he had in his arsenal… pointing this mass of knowledge filled chakra towards Hanhai, he formed a hand seal "Juinjutsu: Seal"

With a line of blood leaking down from his pale blue eyes, he felt a year of his life force drain from him as an illusionary waning crescent moon formed on Hanhai's forehead, wiping the blood from his cheek as the door opened he found Yumi leaning against the door frame, her soft eyes refusing to meet his… Shirohi let out a sigh before disappearing leaving only a single blade of grass slowly floating down…

Yumi teared up as she saw him leave, she never thought this day would come… how hard had she worked to keep him here… she learned his whole life just to make sure he stuck by his side, she didn't even get a goodbye, he just left… her eyes feel onto Hanhai who woke up bursting into tears as if she knew what was happening, and she felt jealous of her own child.

Why does he only love her… Yumi gripped her head in frustration, where had she gone wrong… how long had she planned this, how long had she planned a way into his heart but yet she had failed…

Hearing the bawling of a baby, Shizune quickly came to check on Hanhai… she never cried this long, usually Shirohi would just know what was wrong as if he could understand her and either find Yumi if she wasn't nearby or supplement her chakra. Finding Yumi standing in the doorway holding her head, Shizune's steps faltered, "Did he leave?"

Yumi solemnly turned to her, Yumi's face was a mess before she collapsed into tears, no matter what she did none of it seemed to work… Shizune just walked past her and gently picked up Hanhai, she couldn't help but smile as Hanhai stopped crying to curiously look at her. Resting Hanhai on her chest she turned to Yumi, "Everytime the same thing happens, you need to learn that no matter how much you read about him… you'll never get what you want… I understand why you did all this. You 'love' him, I do too," Shizune walked passed Yumi giving her a glance as Shizune passed her, "Don't try to manipulate him into loving you, it won't work. He is focused on his goals and nobody can stop him, it's always been like that. We have no say in what he does because unlike us he doesn't care for others like 'we' do…"

Yumi was confused as she watched Shizune walk away. As for Shizune, she let out a sigh before playing with the adorable baby in her arms. Shizune gave a soft mutter, an indescribable warmth in her eyes, "Make sure you return and can come back stronger…"

In the middle of a random forest, Shirohi raised his finger a small seal floating above it placing it to his forehead as he made a head seal with his other hand 'Fuinjutsu: Seal'

A dim light obscured his face before it flashed, in that moment he seemed to age, his face and skin becoming similar to that of a middle aged man, his height didn't increase leaving him at 165cm(5'4") then the color of his eyes drained, leaving only a dull grey. Pulling a mask, cloak, and gloves from a storage seal he quickly put them on before flickering away once again. 'It's time I become a 'true' shinobi…'

It took him three days to reach, Togeyama Town, while not backed by a hidden village or a Diamyō this large 'town' has became a central of networking, similar to the Iron Country of the samurai, there are strict limitations on Shinobi and Samurai… using people proficient in Chakra they have amassed a large force of 'Defenders'(1)… Togeyama Town stays out of external conflict slowly amassing strength to protect the 'Land of Information'…

Togeyama Town had become the center for information brokers due to the laws present, some hidden villages used this place as an asset in gathering information or spreading it. Shirohi came here to gather information and make a network of 'similar minded people' to further the intake of information.

Kurotsuki shot from his seat, he had just heard the best news in his life… that waste was looking for him… oh how wonderful it was, for him to think that he stood a chance against the great Kurotsuki Tensuki, what a fool…

[Somewhere Unknown]

A being of pitch black lingered over a body that seemed as if it would break into fist if it was touched, the body had no eyes and had a multitude of pipes connected to his body, "Madara…"

The body sneered, "Leave me be Zetsu, I have no time for your schemes…" Zetsu's 'eyes' narrowed, "It's important…"

Madara barked, "What?!" the being of pitch black rose from the floor, "Pain has once again begun amassing helpers, he picked up a few 'worthy' ones…"

Staring at Zetsu, Madara went to open his mouth but a thought stopped him, "Who's… 'Mother'?"

Zetsu froze, his being going rigid as he stared at Madara. Madara slowly climbed to his feet, "You had me fooled for all this time, you had me to believe that you were a manifestation of my 'Will'… but to find out you were simply a cast away child…*tsk*"

Zetsu trembled in anger, he wasn't cast away, 'Mother' loved him dearly… more than any of the insects crawling around on this 'Lower World'… Then Shirohi popped up into his mind, that idiotic, weak, powerless, imbecile… he dare to steal MY 'Mother's' love?!

Zetsu didn't bother with Madara; he was far too angry to even begin processing what he would do to 'Indra's' incarnation… it wasn't like he was needed anyways…
