37 XXX-In-Law Title

William and Elena walked towards the house. William intertwined his hand to hers and unexpectedly, she hold his hand as if it was a natural thing to do. Of course, William was full of happiness.

To get into the house, they had to pass a beautiful garden that was fifty meters long. William was so calm about the scenery but Elena was not. She looked at her right and she immediately fell in love with the flower garden she saw.

The garden was big enough. The plants and flowers that were planted in orderly manner. The flowers were various in color and variety. There were rose, jasmine, tulip, lavender and many more. What made Elena dumbfounded was the fact that each flower was planted in their own line like what most farmers would do.

Not far from the flowers field, some trees were stood tall like parasol tree and sycamore tree. Under the trees, there were several stools circling a table made of teak wood.

In Elena's left side, there was a mini green house. It seemed small but it was clean and tidy as she could see through the glasses. Inside the greenhouse, there were countless bonsai plants tweaked into different shape. From the way they were shaped, Elena could tell that at least, the one who made it must be very skillful. By only seeing a bonsai, she could have sensed the smell of money. The money for one bonsai must have cost a lot. There were probably hundreds of it so how much it cost? Elena shook her head as she could already imagine the figures. As expected from a rich family!

As she was still immersed in her thought, Elena didn't realize that she had stood in front of the two side doors that had already opened from the inside. She was not aware that pairs of eyes were staring at her in curiosity.

William smiled and pulled Elena who was still in trance to the reality. "Baby..."

Elena regained her focus and gaze up, looking at her boyfriend. "En? What's wrong darling?"

William didn't answer. He just pointed his finger from the other hand.

Elena followed where he was pointing at and was instantly dumbfounded.

Elena felt as if she was struck by lightning as she was petrified.

She saw five men and two women. From those five men, Elena saw a middle aged man sat with a middle aged woman. Both faces were similiar to William. Elena thought they must be William's parents.

Then, she shifted her gaze to another couple. There was an old man with white hair sat beside an old women. Elena could also see the similarity between William and them although it was not as obvious as what she had seen from the first couple. 'William's grandma and grandpa?' Elena thought.

And last, she focused her attention three men. Elena saw a familiar face she always saw during the work days - Thomas Park. Then, she saw other two men whose faces were extremely similar to William. She couldn't really determine who was the elder brother among them as they looked almost similar to the point she could barely discern the three of them.

Elena was about to greet when William spoke, "Mom, dad, grandma, grandpa and brothers, i'm here." William walked over as his hand still hold Elena's.

"I know..i know. Hehehe..." a man who looked slightly younger than William replied as he bolted to Elena who was still standing beside William. "Wow...so beautiful. You must be third sister-in-law right?"

Elena frowned. Indeed, she was dating William but it didn't mean that she was his sister-in-law. "I'm not your..." she had not finished her sentence when the voice of a woman interrupted her. "So, this is my daughter-in-law Willie?"

William looked at the woman and replied without hesitation. "Yes mom."

"Oh, that's great." The woman walked towards Elena and introduced herself. "I'm William's mother. You can call me aunty but i prefer you to call me mother."

Elena was speechless. What kind of introduction was that? She decided to call her aunty but, when she saw her expectant look, she suddenly became powerless. Such look was her Achilles Heel. "Nice to meet you aunt...mom."

"Good...good." Mother Park nodded in satisfaction.

The younger man as well as the others who was still sitting on the sofa, after they heard her calling to Mother Park stood almost simultaneously. The old man, the old woman as well as the middle aged man spoke one after another.

"You can call me grandpa." Grandpa Park said cooly.

"I'm your grandpa's wife. So, call me grandma." Grandma Park smiled to Elena. The more she looked at Elena, the more please she became.

"If you call my wife as mother, then you have to call me father." Father Park said matter-of-factly.

Elena almost spurt a mouthful blood on the spot. What the hell is this? Why are they too friendly?

Elena couldn't believe what she had experience right now. Did she travel into an alternate world? Elena shook her head inwardly when she thought about this idea. No matter what, William's family attitude was too friendly for someone like her who visited them for the first time. Then, she decided to play along as she saw some expectant looks again. She bowed as she greeted. "Hello grandpa, grandma and father. I'm Elena Kim. Nice to meet you."

"Third sister-in-law, I'm Liam. Your darling youngest brother. You can call me Liam." Liam said as he blinked to Elena.

"I'm Gabriel. Nice to meet you sister-in-law."Gabriel shook Elena's hand.

Then Elena saw a familiar face, her colleague, Thomas. She wanted to ask for his help to stop them calling her daughter or granddaughter or sister in-law when he outstretched his hand and said, "I'm Thomas. Nice to meet you sister-in-law."

If Elena earlier almost vomited blood, now, she was critically ill because the continous usage of the term in-law.

She looked helplessly to William and beckoned to him to help her because she was quiet uncomfortable. On the other hand, William just shrugged his shoulders, signalling that he himself could not do anything.

Well, the truth was, William did not intend to help her. She will become his wife so what is the use of correcting such endearment? She could count them as a practice so she would not feel awkward when they called her with xxx-in-law title.
