15 Three Days

Thirty minutes had passed. After Elena saw Liu Tang left the building, she heaved a sigh of relief - that scum finally had gone.

The thirty minutes was not only crucial to Elena but also William. After he spoke his offer to Elena, he didn't get any reply. His nervousness only heightened as the time passed by.

In that thirty minutes, Elena fell into deep contemplation. She was seriously considering the pros and cons of his offer thus she couldn't decide it immediately. After a while, she spoke. "Give me three days. I'll give you my answer."

Soon after he heard it, William tried to bargain as three days was too long for him to wait. He couldn't let his little heart hang in uncertainty any longer. "Can you make it less? one day probably?"

Elena shook her head. She made a final answer. "Take it or leave it."

"Why?" William asked curiously.

"There's no reason."

Uh? William almost sput a mouthful blood when he heard this. He was unable to comprehend Elena's thought, it was so random. If there was no reason, why bother to wait after three days? Even so, he could only accept Elena's decision because he was the passive party in this 'deal'. He nodded his head. "Ok. I'll wait after three days."

Elena hopped out of the car. She just walk forward without looking back. William, in all honesty was a bit disappointed. Was he so insignificant that she didn't bother to look back? Then, he reluctantly drove his car away.

On the other hand, Elena was thinking so hard about William's offer. He offered her a good bargain but she had no intention to begin a relationship. Moreover, her failed relationship made her reluctant to begin a new one although she was not someone who was 'once bitten twice shy'. But, since she was the active party in this offer, she would definitely think about his offer further and activated her brain and began to scheme, trying to maximize her advantage to the fullest.

Sunday Morning, Park Family Ancestral Home

William was sitting on the sofa in the loving room, holding a the embroidery hoop while adjusting the fabric. He missed doing this activity because lately, he was unable to make a new embroidery. He was so busy - running his company and most importantly, trying to impress his soon-to-be girlfriend. Well, he was quiet confident that Elena would accept his offer as it had more advantages on her side rather than him. In his seven years career, he had never lose in bargaining - It was his first time to willingly lose.

William was about to begin when a certain noisy bird came in. He was Liam. He asked William about the result of his confession last night. "Third bro, third bro, how was the result of your confession last night?"

William only glanced at him cooly. He didn't reply Liam's question.

After he saw his brother reaction, Liam immediately knew the result. He said mockingly. "Hehehe. So the charm of this beloved brother of mine isn't enough to conquer her."

William frowned. He spoke to Liam while his eyes and hands still focus doing embroidery. "A stupid creature like you should focus on your doings."

"What die you say?" Liam exasperated because of brother mockery. Even so, he asked himself whether he was stupid human like his brother said or not. He shook his head, denying his brother accusation. He was so smart that it would be impossible to classify himself into that category.

William answered sarcastically. "You can't even get a girlfriend with that look of yours after using your so called hooking-up techniques. So, don't bother my problem. Just think about your own."

Liam gritted his teeth. He was angry because his third brother belittle him. "I'm not stupid. I'm not stupid."

"Yes you are." two different voices came from the second floor. They were Gabriel and Thomas. They looked at Liam in irony. Gabriel continued. "You use your lame techniques and your look but still, you are incapable finding a girlfriend." He shook his head as if he was unable to accept the truth.

"It was not that i'm stupid. But it's just you all exude a strong smell of testosterone." Liam roared angrily at his three brothers. From the four brothers, Liam was the most well-versed in term of hooking up he had countless techniques and coupled with his good look, women would always fall for him. But, whenever the women he hooked up saw his other three brothers, they would always unconsciously ignored him. So, it was not that he was unable to find a girlfriend but it was because his brothers subconsciously prevented him to have a girlfriend.

Thomas nodded. "Yes. Even so, it is our advantage. Unlike you who have no charm at all."

Liam couldn't refute as he was too speechless. Thomas seemed to hit the spot where it hurt. Indeed, his brothers were superior compared to him.

Liam left the living room and walked to the kitchen with his head hung down. He was so dejected. He tried to look for his mother for a consolation. His little heart was so hurt that it need a comfort.

Mother Park was singing happily while washing the dishes. She gave all the servants in the household holiday. So she would be the one who would clean the dishes although her sons offered to help her.

"What the hell..." Mother Park was startled by a sudden hug from behind. She frowned in annoyance as she turned her head and looked at her youngest son. Could he alerted her first before he do this kind of thing?

Liam unaware with his mother annoyance. He asked pitifully. "Mom, am i less charming than my brothers?"

Mother Park was still drowned in her annoyance. So she replied succinctly. "Yes."

Stab! Liam felt as if his heart was stabbed after he heard the answer. Not only his three brothers, even his mother said that he was not charming. Do they still love him? Huhuhu. 'I should go away from home because nobody love me.' Liam said to himself while sobbing pitifully.
