45 The Day I Fall in Love with You (5)

William went back to his ward after wandering around for almost half an hour after he met the woman. He closed his eyes as he tried to sleep. His eyes were closed but his consciousness but he couldn't sleep. He inwardly thought that it was still noon so he would not be able to sleep. Then, he decided to read a comic book that the three Park siblings left for him.

William praised the siblings. They know that he liked to read comic book. Wait, because they were familiar with him, then, was he really William Park? But why he couldn't remember anything about this identity of his? William decided to put that thought aside. Although he didn't know whether he was indeed William Park or not, he decided that he would become William Park for now. It was better to become someone with such identity while he was still unaware with the situation he was in because this identity gave him layers of protection.

Two months had passed since William regained his consciousness. He had followed all the therapy plan and was finally able to walk and do some basic activities although his body still felt slightly and ignorable discomfort. After the doctors did a throughout examination, they allowed William to be discharged. They also gave him some supplementary therapy plan as well as other plans related to his health for a better and faster recovery.

William stood beside the bed as he folded his clothes and put them in a bag. He saw the three Park siblings. He greeted them as he smiled, "Big brother, second brother and youngest brother. Are you all her for me?" After two months interacting with them, William had familiar with them. Now, there was no any discomfort or awkwardness every time he interacted with them. He even felt much more comfortable whenever they were with him. He adjusted himself to his new status rather quickly with the help of Park siblings.

Gabriel replied, "Yes."

Thomas replied after his oldest brother. "Indeed. We come here to pick you up."

Liam was the noisiest and hyperactive among them. He spoke as his words came out from his mouth continously like bullets. "Yeah third bro. Finally, you'll go home. Congratulations for your recovery! By the way, our queen at home pestered me all the time to come here as quick as possible. Well, if she has wings, she would probably come here to fetch you by herself."

William smiled after he heard Liam's antics. His youngest brother was the joker of their family. Mother Park would visit him regularly and every time she came, she would definitely be in tears if Liam didn't bothered or entertained her.

"Ok, let's go." William wanted to bring his bag when Liam snatched it. "Third bro, just let me. It's too heavy." Liam exaggeratedly lifted the bag as if he was carrying something so heavy.

"En." William didn't reject his offer. He knew that Liam's action was simple. He only did that because he care about William's well-being.

William felt warmth slowly permeated into his body, slowly yet surely warmed him.

He walked out of the ward followed by Liam while Gabriel and Thomas walked in front of him.

William suddenly whipped his phone out of his pocket as it played a ringtone for a message that was sent to his number. He opened the message as he smiled in joy. There were two words written on it. It was a name of someone, 'Elena Park'. Then he put his phone back to his pocket and continued walking.

Present

Truth to be told, after i saw you that day, your face will always flash past my mind. When i wanted to sleep, to wake up or to do any daily activity, your face will always popped up out of nowhere." William paused then he continued, "Only after sometime, i realized that i actually fall for you."

Elena remained silent as she was trying to process his rollercoaster-like story. He experienced all that thing and actually fell in love with her after he saw her for the very first time? Why did he fall for her all of sudden? Did he look at her and instantly smitten by her face like other men? Elena subconsciously touched her face as she shamelessly admitted that she was indeed blessed in therm of look and figure. But, should she feel happy or sad if William did fall for her because of her face? She wanted to ask to satisfy her curiosity but she couldn't. As much as she wanted to know, she couldn't shamelessly asked question like, 'Did you fall for me because of my look?'

"I didn't fall in love with you because of your face." William looked at her intently. "Although i admit that your face is the most beautiful one i've ever seen in my entire life, i, in fact didn't fall for you because of that. At that time, when i saw you for the very first time, i felt that i finally found the one i've been waiting for."

William blushed after she heard his sudden confession. She felt happy but at the same time, she sensed a tinge of guilt. 'Did they really meet at that time? Why she could not remember any encounter with him? Elena shook her head as she told herself that she should focus on what she and William was talking about. "If you fall for me at that time, why didn't you go after me?"

William was silent before he answered, "I did try to go after you but i'm not confident about myself. There were many times that i saw you was courted by some men. I thought that you will go out with one of them because i saw you smiled happily at them. So, i speculated that and i decided to accept your decision. Loving someone was not all about possessing her right?"

Elena facepalmed. Why did he need to be so passive when it came to romance? If he courted her before she fell for Liu Tang, some unnecessary conflicts would not happen. But, everything had already happened. There would be now way to turn back. "Then, when did you started making this embroidery?"

"Around two months after i was discharged." William answered.

"Have you always had the ability to embroider?"

William shook his head. "I don't know. But, there is one thing that i'm really sure of. Everytime i come into contact with something related to embroidery, it is as if my embroidery skill automatically turns on."

Elena nodded her head. As she understood his explanation. Then, she asked another question to satisfy her curiosity. "Can you remember anything from your past?"

The moment he heard her question, William face fell. He dejectedly said, "No. I can't." It was always his wish to recover his memory. Yet, after so many years he still couldn't remember anything. He exhausted many resources in his possession to let him recalled his past. Yet, every time he almost recover his memory, it was as if there was a thick barrier that prevented him from remembering his past.

Elena looked at his sorry expression. She felt she was guilty. Her question probably reminded him something unpleasant. She hugged as she patted his back. "That's fine. There'll be me to accompany you. You'll recover your memory sooner or later."

William embraced her in his arms tightly. He put his chin on her head as he said, "Okay. Please always be with me." As long as Elena with him, William thought that he would be able to face anything in the world.
