Elena replied, "I Know." His promise warmed her heart. Her anxiety and restless emotion gradually dissipated. "If you break your promise, then, what will you do?" She believed that he was a man of his words. It was just there were too many things in life that could affect someone's life – life was unpredictable. What you wished for sometimes different with the reality. Her parents and Uncle Qi promised to take care of her yet they were all gone now.

She loved him but there was still a part of her heart being wary about what would happen in the future. She wanted to completely fall for him, unrestrained and free but she was afraid she would suffer the same heartache for being abandoned again.

William knew what she was thinking. He hugged her tighter as he seriously declared. "I know that I can't convince you completely with my words. I'll prove promise with my actions. Trust me, okay baby?" Elena did not reply. She just nodded her head that nuzzled on his chest.

Elena felt relieved after she heard his assurance. The last piece of her heart that was unwilling to fall wavered. It seemed that it was only a matter of time before her knot completely resolved.

Both of them stay still for some time before William heard something unexpected. "So, should we go to the civil affair now?" His eyes widened in disbelief. He looked at his beautiful darling in astonishment. He had decided to push this matter aside and would talk about it in the future when she was ready to take the next steps. Unexpectedly, she raised this matter after her emotional burst.

William was petrified by her suggestion. He could not process what had happened right now. His mind was completely blank. He was like a computer that suddenly shut off.

Elena looked at him, trying to figure out the answer. Yet, when she saw him only looked at her blankly, she dejectedly said, "So, you don't want to go?"

William went back to the reality. He hurriedly said to appease her. "If it is only me, I'll bring you there right now. But baby, if you want to do this because you feel guilt, then, let us postpone it until you are ready. I don't want my love become a burden to you. Instead, I want my love to become strength for you."

Elena released herself from his embrace. She looked up at her darling perfect countenance and said, "I know. But sooner or later we will get married right? So, why don't we get married earlier? First, It's bound to happen and second..." she paused for a while before she said in hesitation."I want to claim you and label you as mine."

William chuckled as he looked at her tenderly. He mischievously asked, "Why? Even without you claiming that I'm yours, I'll always be yours."

Elena snorted as she honestly stated, "You are a cream of crop, a highly desired bachelor by every woman in the country. In a game, you are like a big boss and in bank card level, you are like the black card owned by only some percentile of people. You have a good look, brain and money. Most importantly, you are now with me. It is really stupid if I don't seize this chance."

William didn't know whether he should laugh or cry. Her praise made him inflated like a balloon blown with hot air. His pride surged after he heard her words. He always heard other people say this but he felt nothing after hearing their flattery. But, the same words that came out of her mouth gave a completely different reaction to him. He smiled smugly as he said proudly, "En, you will be so stupid if you let a premium marbled meat like me go away."

Elena gritted her teeth. Why this man was so cocky? She just praised him a little yet he reacted as if it was what she should say. Why did she not notice that he was this shameless earlier?

William saw Elena's darkened expression. So, he decided to flatter her. "Of course, this premium marbled meat is only for you and yours alone. I'm sorry that I've insult the big goddess in front of me. This stupid, lowly human asked for forgiveness." He bowed his body to a 90 degrees angle like what people do when they wanted to apologize.

Elena's expression turned better as she surreptitiously smirk for a flash of second. It was her time to be cocky, so she nodded as she displayed an ethereal and solemn expression. "Indeed, human being prone to make mistake. This time, I decided to forgive you."

William was speechless by her reply. So, he blurted out. "Why are you acting this way when it's only two of us?"

Elena glared at him after she heard his question. Instead of replying, she asked him back. "And why are you acting the same when it's only two of us? Where's the so-cold-akin-to-an-ice, Frozen Hell lord CEO? If women who happened to be enticed by your coldness knew the fact that you are so cheeky, they would probably be disappointed. "

Elena was speechless. What he said was a fact. If his fans were disappointed by this fact, it was equal with lesser people to dream her man. Elena cleared her throat awkwardly as she reminded. "Should we go now?"

"William glanced at his wrist watch. "It's almost lunch are you okay with that?"

Elena rolled her eyes."Then, should I feel not okay?"

William shook his head. "No." He smiled happily as if he was a kid who got a lollipop from his mother. He took her hand as he excitedly said, "let's go."

William's heart was full of happiness. She would officially become his today. She would become his Mrs. Park today!
