19 Glutton Grandmother

UDI Lab, Tuesday Morning.

"Elena, congratulations!" Key suddenly congratulated Elena out of the blue.

Lilly added as she spoke. "Congratulations for finding your other half. I don't expect you to find him so soon."

Drey also said in dispirited. "Congratulations. Please don't stuff us with dog foods in the future."

Elena confused for a bit before she understood the reason why her colleagues congratulated her all of sudden. She had just agreed to become William's girlfriend last night. Only both of them knew that they had been officially dating. She wanted to ask who had informed them that she had already date William when a realization dawned her. It must be Thomas.

'Thomas is William's brother so it makes sense that he know.' She came up with the answer without thinking too much.

On the other hand, Indeed, last night William shared his relationship not only to Thomas but also to the other members of his family.

After driving Elena back to her apartment, William didn't return to his apartment instead he went to the ancestral home because he wanted to announce that Elena had finally become his in front of his family.

It was already late at night. William assumed that everyone had fallen asleep. William was still drown in his excitement and wanted to let his family know immediately but he couldn't bear to wake everyone up. So, he walked silently and warned the security staffs not to make any noise despite the ancestral house that was too big for everyone to wake from his voice. William got into the house through the front door. As expected, the lamps had already turned off. William was sure enough that everyone had slept.

William was walking to the second floor where his room was located. He hummed romantic songs in low voice. His mood was so excellent. He couldn't wait for tomorrow as it would be the first day as a couple. William was about to enter his room when the lamps suddenly turned on.

William turned around and looked at the first floor. Everyone was in the living room without exception. Even the sleep maniacs like Mother Park and Liam were still awake. Grandma Park beckoned William to come down by waving her hand. "Willie, come here."

William took a deep breath as he proceed to the living room. As he arrived, he stood across Grandma Park and asked. "What happen grandma?"

Grandma Park without beating bushes said. "Today you must have received her reply right?"

William nodded to confirm. But he was still puzzled as why his family members were still stayed awake? Tomorrow was still working day but why they suddenly became all nighters?

As if she could understood William, Mother Park spoke as she yawned. "Hoahhhh... I want to sleep but your grandma was too excited. She wanted to know the result of your deal."

"Only for that?" William asked in astonishment. Then he continued. "What if i do not come back home tonight? Will you just wait for me all night long?"

Everyone nodded and shook their head simultaneously. They nodded because Grandma Park forced them to stay awake and shook their head because they would not wait for him all night long. "We are sure that we will not wait for you for the whole night."

"Why are you so confident mom?" William asked in bewilderment. He could see that everyone was forced to stay awake by Grandma Park. Well, in their house, the supreme leader was not Grandpa Park instead it was Grandma Park. Whenever Grandma issued an order, everyone in the house must comply. But he was still confused about why his mother said so. He wanted to asked again when his mother explained. "Everytime you have something good, you will always come back home. When you said that you were sure that she would become your girlfriend, we assumed that you will success. So we wait for you though it is involuntarily."

William nodded as he understood. What his mother said was reasonable. It was his habit to return home when he encounter something good. "When i walked in, i found no one, not even a silhouette. But how can you all be here all of sudden?"

"Oh, we were in the kitchen." answered Liam. He closed his mouth with his palm as he yawned. It seemed that he already excreted a great amount of effort to stay awake past his sleeping time.

"Kitchen?"

Everyone nodded. Then Mother Park said. "We were just had our suppers."

"Ooo..." William paused for a while because he was puzzled by something, then he continued to asked. "When you are all in the kitchen, why did the lamp turn off?"

"Oh, your grandma planned to surprise you but she cancelled it." This time, it was Father Park who speak.

"Why?"

Everyone looked at Grandma Park almost simultaneously. Grandma Park coughed as she answered. "Indeed, i planned to surprise you but the supper was too delicious so i'm too lazy to move from the kitchen."

William was speechless. His grandma foiled her own plan for food? As expected his glutton grandmother.
