33 Elena's Past (3)

It was saturday. Little Ji Eun was so happy. Her daddy and mommy promised her to go to amusement park. It would be very first time to go there.

She wore the best clothes she had selected on the same day the promise made. She sang some rhymes and tried to whistle like her daddy as she was basked in happiness.

"fuihhh..."

Although she failed to whistle, she still cheerfully smiled. She looked at her reflection and nodded. "Perfect."

"Mommy, daddy, i'm ready." Little Ji Eun walked to her parents with her little stubby legs.

Park Woo Sung and Lim Chung Ah looked at their princess and smiled. Their daughter is so cute!

Park Woo Sung brought the last dish he made to the table. "Let's eat first okay baby?" He caressed his daughter head.

"Okay daddy."

The family ate their breakfast harmoniously. They had prepared themselves to go when their phone suddenly rang. "Hubby, my little baby, wait for a while." Lim Chung Ah put off her shoes and walked to the living room to take the call.

Park Woo Sung and Little Ji Eun played riddle as they waited for Lim Chung Ah. Park Woo Sung laughed as he look at his wife. "Darling, our princess is so smart."

Little Ji Eun flushed red after she heard her father compliment. She gazed up to her parents and said, "Mommy, daddy, let's go."

Park Woo Sung and Little Ji Eun went to the car. After several steps, they realized that Lim Chung Ah didn't follow them. Park Woo Sung asked, "Darling, what happen?"

Lim Chung Ah walked over and squatted in front of Little Ji Eun and said softly. "Baby, i'm sorry. We need to postpone our plan. Okay?"

Little Ji Eun looked down in disappointment. Tears fell down from her little eyes.

A pang of regret hit Lim Chung Ah heart as she saw her daughter expression. She exchanged her husband a knowing look.

Park Woo Sung saw his wife expression. His grinned froze and was replaced by grim look. He squatted and patted his daughter head as he consoled her. "We'll go tomorrow. Okay? princess, please."

Little Ji Eun looked at her parents after she heard the promise. Her eyes were red that it made the couple regretted that they had to postpone their vacation. Park Woo Sung asked once more as he wiped her tears. "Okay baby?"

Little Ji Eun nodded, "Promise?" She outstretched her pinky finger like usual.

"Okay, daddy promise."

"Mommy too."

After they made their pinky promise, they went into their house. Lim Chung Ah had asked Aunty Xu to look after Little Ji Eun for a day. "Hubby, Aunty Xu had arrived."

"En." Park Woo Sung went to Little Ji Eun's room and took the bag he had prepared that was full of his daughter belongings, her pink huge teddy bear, her colourful storybooks, her clothes as well as some lollipops. He also put some money in the bag.

Park Woo Sung went to the pair of mother and daughter who was still hugging. Little Ji Eun reminded her daddy and mommy. "Mommy, daddy, come back tomorrow okay? don't forget your promise."

Park Woo Sung and Lim Chung Ah went to the gate to send Little Ji Eun. Lim Chung Ah said to Aunty Xu politely. "Aunty, we'll trouble you."

Aunty Xu waved her hands. "No...no...no. Little Ji Eun is so cute. My grandson and granddaughter like to play with her. When they heard Ji Eun will come to our house, they was so excited that they urged me to fetched her soon."

Park Woo Sung smiled. "It's good then. Thank you aunty." He crouched down and kissed her daughter. "Don't be naughty. Listen to Grandma Xu. Okay?"

Little Ji Eun nodded in all seriousness. "Okay daddy." Then, she embraced her father.

Lim Chung Ah also squatted down as she embraced and kissed Little Ji Eun. Her mood was complicated. Both her and her husband embraced their daughter.

After a moment, the family of three disentangled themselves from the embrace.

Aunty Xu took Little Ji Eun's little hand. "Then, we'll go."

Little Ji Eun and Aunty Xu turned around and walked away. Little Ji Eun would turned her head around to look at her parents who was standing and was looking at her. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so sad. She wanted to be with her daddy and mommy.

Park Woo Sung and Lim Chung Ah stared at their daughter's back until she disappeared from their line of sight. Their mood was complicated.

Three Days had passed since Little Ji Eun was sent to Aunty Xu house.

On sunday morning, she went back together with Aunty Xu, her grandson and her granddaughter.

Little Ji Eun was so excited because her parents would bring her to the amusement park. To her dismay, her parents was not at home and after waiting for them till night, she went back to Aunty Xu's house together with them. Little Ji Eun aggrieved by this fact. Why did mommy and daddy do not returned home? She cried silently as soon as she arrived at Aunty Xu's house.

Aunty Xu sighed when she saw Little Ji Eun was crying. "Little Ji Eun, we'll go again tomorrow, okay?"

Little Ji Eun nodded. She fell asleep after crying for so long.

On the second day, they did the same thing. But the couple had not returned.

Little Ji Eun came back to Aunty Xu house dejectedly. Did daddy and mommy do not want me? She shook her head after she had such thought. Her mommy and daddy loved her the most.

And today, the couple had dissapeared for three days. Little Ji Eun went out in the morning without Aunty Xu knowledge and ran around the village and the nearby. She asked every house in the village whether they had seen her mommy and daddy or not. She walked several kilometers on that day with her stubby little legs.

Aunty Xu was anxious about her disappearance. Fortunately, a friend from another village called and informed her that Little Ji Eun was in her house.

Aunty Xu went to her friend's house in a rush. She was relieved yet sad when she saw Little Ji Eun appereance. She was covered by mud as she fell down to water puddles from heavy rain last night. Her little legs and hands were full of bruises and cuts.

Aunty Xu was about to hug her when Little Ji Eun looked up and asked with sadness in her eyes. "Grandma Xu, Do mommy and daddy do not want me?"

Little Ji Eun tears gushed out uncontrollably. She wailed and sobbed pitifully, like an abandoned puppy.
