Friday Night

William was too nervous and excited at the same time. His first date with his beautiful girlfriend, Elena was going to happened soon.

After he had meticulously prepared everything for their first date, he anticipated their first date very much. It would not only their first time to date, but it also his first time to have a date with the opposite sex. The first time with the opposite sex? So, before this, he went out with men instead? No. It was not the case. It was just in his 27 years of life, he never desired woman as much as he was now. Simply to say, he had never had relationship with women until he met Elena, so it was his first time and surely, he was new to this kind of relationship.

William walked out from the private elevator and went to the lobby on the first floor instead directly went to the basement. Well, he was too nervous that he wanted to calm himself first. He met some of his employees and praised them as he smiled. "Good work today." Then he strode to the main door before he disappeared from their sight.

William was walking to the parking lot happily, not knowing his employees thought about him. Well, even if he knew he would not pay attention to it because currently, he had a mission that was more important.

He drove the car to UDI Lab. Whenever he picked Elena up, he always drove the car himself, unlike any other days when the chaffeur drove him.

Along the way to UDI Lab, he hummed and sang some love songs. It was as if he was in spring, he felt so warm and comfort.

After some minutes of driving, William finally arrived at UDI Lab. He got out of the car and went to the other side of the car so he could open the door for Elena as soon as she arrived.

William waited for some minutes when he saw Elena talked and laughed with Key and Drey. They seemed to talk about something so funny that Elena didn't notice a passionate gaze on her.

On the other hand, William was drown by his jealousy. His baby girl could talk with other men in ease, but why did she can't do it with him? The green eyed monster in him almost broke out of the cage the moment he saw her talking with other men. Fortunately, he controlled it in the nick of time.

Only after Key spoke, Elena realized William had already waited for her. "Elena, your boyfriend is here. Bye. See you tomorrow. Drey, let's go!" Key decisively dragged Drey who was about to ask whether William was Elena's boyfriend or not.

Elena replied, "En senior. Be careful on your way."

Drey who was still dragged by Key shouted loudly. "Elena, don't move too fast ok? If you want to do that, don't forget to prepare protection."

Elena was speechless as she realized the meaning behind her senior's words. Why was he so corrupted? And why did it feel like Drey thought of her as the aggressive party? She was the passive one, okay. There was no way she would turn to such beast.

William stood and listened to their conversation silently. He was about to greet Elena's colleagues when he heard Drey's shameless remark. He was stunned but he mantained his calm face. It was just the tip of his ears flushed red - it seemed that he was not thick skinned enough.

William called Elena who was walking to his car softly. "Elena."

Elena smiled. "Hi William."

William opened the car's door for Elena and went to the driver seat. The car was silent because they didn't know what to talk. It was William who broke the silence. "Elena, may i call you baby?"

Elena replied immediately. "Baby? are you sure? it sounds so stupid." Elena disagreed with William's endearment name for her.

William reasoned. "But we are officially dating. It is okay alright? Alright, i'll call you baby from now on." William asked and answered the question by himself. So, no matter how much Elena disagreed with him, he would call her 'baby'.

Elena sighed. The man in front of her just too overbearing. She reluctantly agreed. "Okay. But what should i call you?"

William answered without hesitation. "Darling."

Elena was drinking when she heard this. She choked and coughed in surprise.

Dar-ling?

As much as Elena didn't want to call him darling, she had already agreed to become his girlfriend. So, it was inevitable that he needed to call him 'darling'. She believed that, in a relationship that both of them agreed, each of them must contribute for the relationship equally.

Elena realized William drove to the opposite way from her apartment. She puzzled and asked, "Where we will go?"

William replied succinctly as he focused on driving. "Date."

"Ooo..." Elena nodded as she remembered their agreement. Every week, they would date for three times. It was almost weekend so he allocated weekend for dating? Elena decided to follow and coordinate with him. It was him who planned their date after all.
