Han Zhan who was playing his phone froze upon hearing Huo Youyou words. He shifted his gaze and looked at him. He said disdainfully. "It's good that she died."

Huo Youyou was not surprised by this answer. He said to Han Zhan. "During interrogation, every word and sentence coming out from your mouth, it'll be use as an evidence. Although you are not a suspect yet, the words you said just now might turn you as a convict. Do you know this? Everything you said and did in the heat of moment will lead to your destruction." He smiled genially and his voice was gentle. He seemed so kind that it made people would lower their guard. But Han Zhan, although he was frivolous, he still caught the subtle meaning hidden under Huo Youyou's words. He felt goosebumps all over his body when he saw Huo Youyou's smile.

He understood Huo Youyou's words. Huo Youyou told him to speak truth.

Han Zhan was still Han Zhan overall. He was threatened by Huo Youyou but his inflated ego prevented him from being fully subdued by Huo Youyou's warning. He thought that he was innocent and did nothing wrong. So, he impolitely said, "What do you want to ask? Speak!"

Huo Youyou smiled. Although Han Zhan seemed reckless, Huo Youyou knew that he was smart enough to know what was best for him. He knew how to move forward and retreat.

Huo Youyou had observed him since Han Zhan entered the interrogation room. Han Zhan appearance was totally like a bad boy. long red dyed hair, ear piercings in the ears with leather jacket and jeans.

Huo Youyou was not well versed in entertainment field, but, after he read some basic information about him, he knew that Han Zhan was one of the most popular celebrities within the country. His name was already reverberated since he was still a young boy. His popularity didn't even decrease when his scandal surface. Instead, his fame rose to a whole new level.

In this era, abusive relationship would never be welcomed by society, much more he was a public figure. Public would surely pressed on this matter which resulted to his downfall. But the effects was reversed. Indeed, his scandal sank him in a temporary slumber but afterwards, he bounce upwards higher than the previous one.

Huo Youyou knew that this result was surely related to Han Zhan's management company. Han Zhan was a talented artist that had released some biggest hits. He had received almost every music awards. It would truly be a pity if the company decided to give up in him.

But Huo Youyou didn't emphasize on this.

As much as a companies wanted to preserve their artists, they had to weight between the gain and loss. They were still a business overall. Their main objective was profit.

No matter how talented an artist was, without any special personality attributes or backing, they would surely give up. Even artists who had huge backing, some companies would still dropped them out and let the artists fend themselves on their own.

Han Zhan scandal garnered much attention as the time it broke was coincidence with national woman empowerement. Much more the troublesome Han Zhan that had involved in some minor scandals previously. Logically speaking, his company would give up on him. They would only need to find some 'fresh meat' to replace him.

But the company didn't do so. Instead, they took him and solved his scandal beautifully. Han Zhan family was rich, but not good enough to assure the company he was in.

It puzzled Huo Youyou. After contemplating for days, Huo Youyou was sure of something.

Han Zhan knew how to place himself. He was clever enough for himself.

From lists of people that Han Zhan offended, most of them were the lowest within the food chain. He never stepped out of his boundaries when he met people with status.

So, Huo Youyou knew that his words would immediately be understood by Han Zhan.

And Han Zhan didn't disappointed him.

The interrogation went quiet smoothly. Han Zhan was cooperating with Huo Youyou and answers all of the question.

Huo Youyou glanced at his wrist watch. He had already got enough information. He said to Han Zhan. "Thank you for your cooperation."

Han Zhan snorted. He didn't reply as he immediately stood up and stormed out of the interrogation room. The investigator was dark. At least that was what he felt.

Huo Youyou went into the conference room to report the information he got. He saw Captain Ling sat on his chair while closing his eyes. Captain Ling apparently was resting. That was what Huo Youyou thought.

Huo Youyou had just hold the door knob to exit when he heard Captain Ling said, "It's over?" He looked back and saw his Captain unkempt appearance. Captain Ling hair was messy and his eyes were red. His stubble were growing. His stern eyes were full of black circle. He looked like a stern looking panda.

Huo Youyou laughed inwardly. Stern looking panda? He could not even imagined how it would look like. But he had to admit that his captain looked so tired. He knew this so when he saw him resting, Huo Youyou decided to wait and reported the interrogation result later. But who knows, when he wanted to go out of the room, Captain Ling had woken up. He replied, "Yes." Then he added, "We found some clues."
