8 A House Full of Testosterone

Everyone was seated in the kitchen. Mother Park, Father Park, Liam were sitting across the other Park siblings, William, Gabriel Park; William's eldest brother and Thomas Park; William's second big brother.

Thomas who was still half asleep grumbled in protest. "Liam, could you please control your voice when you wake me up?"

"Nah...Don't blame me second brother. Mom asked me to wake you up." Liam defended himself from his second brother accusation and ultimately shifted the blame to his mother.

Mother Park sat on the very left beside Liam. Soon after she heard Liam's shameless remark, she hit his head hard.

"Mom why do you hit me?"

"Because you deserve it."

Both of them continued fighting, oblivious with the others knowing glances.

Father Park who was unable to take their banter separated both mother and son and positioned himself in the middle. He exchanged Liam's seat to his.Then he said sternly, "Don't fight anymore okay? Let's eat."

Mother Park and Liam wanted to continue but finally stepped back as the others began eating.

After breakfast, they didn't go anywhere. They just sat still and enjoyed the morning tea.

Gabriel, after seeing his grandparents' absence in their weekly ritual, sunday morning breakfast, asked out of curiosity, "Mom, Dad, where is grandma?"

Mother Park replied, "Grandma is still in her courtyard."

"And Grandpa?"

"Still in the courtyard."

Gabriel tilted his head in confusion. He had never seen his grandparents missed sunday breakfast. What was actually going on? "Why?"

Mother Park put her teacup on the table. She wiped her mouth with a handkerchief. Then, she answered, "They're preparing themselves for a date. Your grandma pestered your grandpa in these few days. She also said that your grandpa didn't love her anymore. To placate her, your grandpa asked her for a date."

"Pfffft..." Thomas spit the tea he was drinking. He coughed profusely. "cough...cough...I'm sorry." His grandparents were savage. They unintentionally gave him a blow even they were not present at the moment. He couldn't imagine his stern looking grandmother put whinny expression on her to pester his grandfather.

"By the way, even your grandma and grandpa go to a date. What about you all guys?" asked Mother Park. Three out of four sons of hers were single, only Liam had a girlfriend after being a playboy for years. Sometimes she wondered whether her sons were not charming enough to attract their opposite sex attention.

"Not interested." responded Gabriel. He was 31 this years and he was still a single. He worked as the director of Intelligence Bureau of Z Country. Even without Park in his name, he was a highly desired bachelor by many women.

Thomas nodded as he agreed with his older brother answer. Then he added, "Too troublesome." So far, in his 29 years life, women was the least he wanted to involved with because in his opinion, they were too troublesome.

Mother Park sighed. Both of her elder sons had no intention to bring woman to their home. They were all hopelessly unromantic. She shifted her line of sight to her third son, William who was still enjoying his tea, "How about you Willie?"

"I have."

All the people shifted their gaze to William. They were both shocked and curious.

"Really?" Mother Park asked incredulously.

"En." William nodded, pouring another cup of tea to his cup.

"Who?"

"Elena Kim."

"Pffft..." It was Liam's turned to shock. Unbelievable, too unbelievable! The woman that mother fancy was actually the same woman that his third brother like?

"Who is Elena Kim?" From all the people, only Father Park who had no idea about Elena Kim. The moment Elena Kim being mentioned, all of them, except Father Park had their face twisted.

"Elena Kim, 25 years old, a forensic pathologist like Thomas. She was accepted at the age of 14 and graduate at 17, took two majors simultaneously, medicinal science and computer science while in fact, she was accepted at four different majors, voted as the belle of Imperial University." explained Gabriel. As the director of Intelligence Bureau, he definitely knew everything about Elena. Moreover, because they indirectly work together in some cases, Gabriel inevitably had to run a background check on her. About her identity as a hacker, he didn't tell his parents or other siblings as it was a sensitive issue. It was also for Elena's personal safety.

"Oh, I almost forget. She's dating someone. He is..." added Gabriel. He knew about it from his colleagues when they gossipped her as she would be their work colleague.

"No." Mother Park replied before Gabriel could finish his sentence. When she heard the word dating, her mind flew back to the moment three days ago when a man shamelessly pestered Elena.

Liam amused by his mother reaction. He asked curiously, "How can you say no mom?"

"Because i accidentally meet her at the cafe three days ago." She outstretched her hand that hold the cup to William, beckoninging him to pour tea to her cup. "I and your grandma had our ladies day out. We were at a cafe near Imperial University. At that time, we saw her being pestered by a man who beg for forgiveness. I think he was her boyfriend...no her ex boyfriend."

Everyone nodded but inwardly they smirked in amusement. When Mother Park said 'accidentally', it was totally a lie, a big lie. She had never gone to such cafe even once, much more together with grandma. She must had gone to that cafe intentionally to spy Elena by herself.

"Then that's good." Gabriel felt relieved after he heard his mother words. It would be good if his third brother could court her openly. Earlier, he was afraid that his third brother longed for someone else's girlfriend. He was afraid that his brother would take an extreme measure to get everything he interested in like usual, inserted himself in the relationship and become a third party. But now, he didn't to worry about it.

"Then you can chase after her third bro. Oh, well...she also work in the same agency with me. So i can give you some opportunities to meet her." Thomas was also a forensic pathologist. Because Elena would become his colleague soon, he didn't mind to give some leeway so his third brother could interact more with his crush. He would even assisted his third brother if it was necessary.

"Thanks second brother." William gleefully accepted Thomas assistance. Though he could create some chances himself, it would not hurt to brace every chance his family gave.

"Good...good. Bring her home soon Willie. Be quick because can't live in this house anymore." Mother Park encouraged her son to speed up his plan. She started to imagine herself living with Elena. They would go to spa, shopping and other activities that ladies would usually do.

"Why mom?" Liam asked in confusion. Why his mom said so?

Mother Park looked at him with her pained expression. "Of course it is because i can't live in the house that full of testosterone!"

"Uhhh..." The other people who were obviously all men speechless. House full of testosterone huh? It was the first time for Mother Park to attack them collectively.
