The Audition

Arya hummed to the beat of her headphones as she stared out the window of the bus. She was nervous for her audition today. Her highschools' music club was holding auditions today. It was kind of like band, but didn't really focus on the brass or woodwind instruments. Instead it concentrated on the string and percussion with guitars and drums. She was super nervous. The idea of performing in front of people sent a shiver down her spine. When her bus arrived at the school she grabbed her guitar case and headed for her first period.

Arya watched the clock tick and tick. "Hey, Ari!" Arya looked up at her friend and waved. It was lunch. Sarah came and sat down next to her. " Why don't you have anything to eat?" She said. " I'm not hungry." As soon as she was done speaking Sarah went on a rant about how she shouldn't be so worried. The rant didn't end until lunch was over.

Once school was finally over, Arya quickly made her way to the music room. The room was filled with noise. She tried slipped into the back of the room and waited it didn't take long before the people began to perform on the stage. Arya was amazed at all the different sounds and methods the students used. She leaned forward in her chair with her eyes wide.

"Seth Rogen, your up!"

The schools hottest and popular guy stepped up with his guitar. Arya rolled her eyes as he looked at a group of girls and winked. "He's such a player!" Arya muttered. His playing was ok, but then again he didn't play a difficult song. He played Perfect by Ed Sheeran. His hand movements were stiff. After he was he smirked and sat down.

" Arya Meijer's!" Arya gulped and froze. Her hands were shaking and her palms were sweaty as she felt eyes on her. She slowly made her way up to the stage and took out her guitar. She had decided to play an original.

The started playing, at first nervous then got lost in the music. " We lie and we kill for sake of our selves. Trying to feel safe in our hometown~" As she finished she dared to look up and realized that everyone was silent and Arya wondered if she did ok. She headed back to her seat.

After the audition was over she walked to locker and put her books away. Most of students had left so she was suprized when she heard footsteps behind her. Suddenly she was slammed against the locker. She let out a breath of air as her back collided with the locker. She looked up find Seth Rogen smirking. He wasn't bad looking with jet black hair and emerald green eyes. A tanned face and a tall figure. She could see how girls may like him but...

" You trying to show off and make me look bad?!" Arya stared blankly at him and let out a sigh. " What do you want, moron?" Seth laughed and picked a piece of her light brown hair. " For you to leave the club." Arya found it hard to keep her composure. "I'm not even sure I'm in the group."

"I deserve the spot more than you!" Arya pushed him back making him stumble. "Your only in it for the girls and attention, you have to actually like the music. You're stupid if the think you deserve to get in."
