The Capital's Villainess

Splash!

Several young ladies gasped as they stared at the spectacle in front of them. In the middle of the crowd stood two girls. One was wearing a white dress and shivering. Her hair and dress were dripping with red wine and her makeup had run over. She looked pathetic.

Opposite her stood a lady with long black hair that cascaded down to her waist, revealing occasionally glimpses of that snow white back which was exposed by her backless black dress. Her eyelashes were coated in black mascara, setting off her gleaming red eyes. She delicately ran her tongue over her sharp teeth as she glared at the girl in front of her.

"Why? Not saying anything? I thought your mouth was very fast just now. Weren't you talking about how devilish and evil I am? About how I ruined your jewelry business? Hmmm?" Her voice was soft and soothing like a violin, a sharp contrast to the devilish smile that graced her lips.

The poor girl in front of her could only stutter. Tears trailed down her face.

"Tch." The girl in black hissed. "So pathetic." She turned around and stared at the other ladies at the party. "Anyone wants to help her? I believe she was talking to someone just now, was it you?" She pointed at a girl and watched her shiver.

"Or was it you?" She switched target to the next girl and laughed as the lady stumbled and fell out of fear. "Useless rats like you dare gossip about me?"

"Sara." A male voice could be heard. Immediately, the lady in black, Sara withdrew her devilish aura, instead turning into a white rabbit in seconds. She opened her eyes wide as she swung around. "Third brother!" She called out delightedly. "Why are you here? To see me?" She pouted cutely.

"If I didn't come, wouldn't you destroy the whole of City H? Hmm?"

Sara stuck out her tongue as she looked at her approaching brother. With long dark hair like hers and their father's sharp features, it was no wonder he was known as one of the most handsome men in the Capital. "I just want to have fun! You all watch me so closely everytime!" She whined.

"Sure." Drew reached out and ruffled his sister's hair. His gaze turned to the woman in white in front of them, her clothes still soaked in wine.

"Third master..." Noticing she had his attention, the girl called out softly. She had been shocked silly when she saw the man walk in. Everyone knew Third Master Drew was a recluse and rarely stepped out. From, the few glimpses people had of him, it was rumoured that he didn't lose out to the First Master. The lady could confirm it now. Third Master was truly handsome! An idea sprouted in her mind. If perhaps she could gain his attention and become his lover... She didn't notice the girls around her trembling and went ahead to gain sympathy by acting pitiful. "I have no idea what I did to the Young Mistress but she...she...she ruined my family's jewelry business!" She blinked gently and tears slipped out from her eyes. On another day, she might have looked delicate, but now with her hair drenched in wine and her eyes like a koala's...

Drew turned away in disgust and turned to frown at his sister. "Made another one cry?"

Sara blinked innocently. "Bleh! It's not my fault her eyes are made of liquid." Her eyes were bright and clear making her seem really innocent. Plus that little smile she always had... Her brother couldn't resist patting her head again. "My hair!" She glared angrily at him, her fair cheeks puffed up.

Drew laughed. He faced the lady who was still crying pitifully across from him. "My sister wronged you right? She ruined a business of yours?" He asked. The girl nodded. "Then it's fine. What's your family's name?"

"Anderson."

Drew made a phone call. "Assistant Jin? Is there an Anderson family in City H? Good. Before tomorrow, I want all their businesses bankrupted. Yes, leave them no way out. I don't want them to appear in City H again..."

"Young Master!" The girl in white trembled. She was shocked out of her wits. "What...Why...How could you?!"

"You said my sister wronged you. Considering the fact that she will be in City H for quite a while, to prevent yourself from being wronged and more of your businesses ruined, it's better for me to ruin everything now and you leave City H."

"Young Master..." The lady fell on the floor.

"No need to thank me." Drew smiled cruelly. "Little Sara, shall we leave?"

"Yes! Let's go have dinner. I want braised pork!"

"Food, food, food! All you know is to eat!" Drew hugged his sister. Sara grinned. "You love me all the same!" The brother and sister laughed heartily but just as they were about to leave, a gunshot was heard.

Sara felt a piercing pain in her chest and looked down to see a hole from which blood was gushing. She could hear screams from all around her as her mind roiled. How could this happen? She had barely been in City H for a day! Who was it? The Stones? The Hamptons? She had too many enemies.

Sara laughed. It was such a sad way for the villainess of the Capital to go. Her unwilling gaze landed on her brother's shocked face.

"Sara!" Drew screamed, his eyes filled with madness.

'Don't worry brother', Sara wanted to say. But all that came out from her mouth was a gurgle, as blood poured out. Her last feeling was one of unwillingness.
