4 Making connections

Every six months I had to get checked by Doctor Gu. During the pass two years I learned his name was Gu Jay he's at least 5'10 and has black hair across his face and golden brown eyes. He's always careful with the questions he be asking me.

I was in a patient room waiting for him to come check on me when Yin Meilin walked in with two coffees.

She smiles at me "here's your ice coffee, exactly how you like it" she says, she walks over to sit on the chair by the restrooms door.

"Thank you" I smile at her when out of the blue Doctor Gu appears at the door.

"Did I scare you" he says laughing, "how have you been Eve?" He smiled at me as he got my chart out. Every time I came he would ask me 6 questions all which may say if I've gain my memory or remember something.

"Im going to ask you some questions,Let's start." He sat down on a chair in front of me with a pen writing down my answers.

I didn't wanna answer with Yin Meilin in the room, I knew it would hurt her if she found out I remember since it would mean I could no longer be with her.

I looked over at her as she was sitting down reading a newspaper while drinking her coffee. Gu Jay had noticed Yin Eve looking over at Yin Meilin and Understood the situation she was in.

"Miss Yin there's some paper work in the front desk for you to sign, you know the usual" he smiled at her as she smiled back "okay then I'll be back I won't take long" she had left the room when Gu Jay looked over at Yin Eve.

"What did you remember"

I know I shouldn't lie and I knew I could trust him but I didn't want to hurt nobody's feelings with this.

I answered "I recently turned 18" me knowing my birthday they could use it to find a who I am can't find me since to the whole world Lui Lian is dead. Plus my Appearance changed after the accident it would be hard to find someone who looked like me.

Gu Jay looked surprised his face was shocked maybe because he didn't expect me to ever remember nothing.

After more than enough questions i walked out to go look for Yin Meilin when Gu Yusuke appeared around the corner. He was wearing a grey shirt that showed his muscles and some black jeans, his hair was messy but he looked full of energy.

He came up to me with a smile "hey Eve, didn't know you'd be here"

"Hey, what brings you around?" I asked

"Oh nothing much just came to drop some documents off for my brother" he said while looking around.

His brother? I didn't know he had a brother? Would it be-

"Jay!!!" He called over to Doctor Gu Jay as he was coming out of a patients room.

That's his brother?? No way they don't look nothing alike but it would explain how his family is into medicine so it's not that surprising.

"Brother!!" Gu Jay hugged Gu Yusuke and said "did you bring the documents I asked for" Gu Yusuke handed over the papers as Gu Jay looked through them to see if they where the correct ones he had asked for.

"Y'all are brothers?" Even though I knew at this point I just wanted to make sure.

Gu Jay and Gu Yusuke both looked at me and smiled. Yeah I see it.

"Yeah, I figure you didn't know?" Gu Yusuke asked and then said "my older brother doesn't like to brag about the smart one in the family" he said sarcastically.

I laughed as Gu Jay said "it's actually me but okay" he rolled his eyes as he looked at me up and down. I felt his eyes on me while I started talking to Gu Yusuke "you have any plans today?" I asked

He looked at me surprised since I was never one to talk but don't get it wrong that was me before I even knew who the true me was. But now that i know, everything was going to change I promise.

"Actually no. You wanna go try this place? I've been wanting to go just never had no one to go with" He said. I could see he was hoping I would say yes.

Yin Meilin then appeared and saw what was going on "hey y'all" she was surprised to have seen Yin Eve talk to people since she was always a quiet one and never talked about any of her friends.

"Mom do you think it's okay if I go out with my friend today?" I asked. Yin Meilin was surprised since I have never asked to go out with no body but Chiu Asuma.

She smiles and said "Yeah it's all good, I actually have stuff to do so be safe"

After we went our own ways I was in Gu Yusukes car putting my seatbelt on when he asked "is Asuma busy today?"

I could see a little red on his cheeks as he tried to hide it. "I'm not sure let me call her"

Even though me and Yin Meilin didn't have enough money to be affording the good phones we did have some cheap ones since the only reason we needed one was to be able to communicate with each other.

I took my phone out and dialed Chiu Asumas number, after two rings she answered.

"Hello" She said.

"Hey Asuma, are you busy right now?" I knew she helped her parents at their bakery so I wasn't sure if she would be able to come.

"No I just got out the bakery. Why?" I was never one to hang out after school or on the weekends with friends instead I stayed outside in the woods painting.

"You wanna go grab a bite" I asked. The other end of the line was now quiet.

"Yeah why not" she said I could hear the excitement in her voice since she never really went out either.

"Okay we'll be there in 10 minutes be ready" I said.

"Wait. Who else is going-" before she could finish I ended the call and Gu Yusuke looked at me in a funny way.

"You know you didn't tell her the other person was me right" he said as he started driving to Chiu Asumas parents bakery.

"I know" I said smiling.

By 10 minutes we where outside waiting for her when she came out the bakery. Chiu Asuma was wearing a pink skirt with a black blouse that went down her shoulders and her hair was up with a pink string holding it. For a girl she knew how to dress and even though she wasn't from a rich family but a poor one she still made her clothes look good.

She was surprised as she got close to the car and got in the back seat. She then saw it was Gu Yusuke who was driving.

"Hi y'all" she said she was smiling and happy, deep down she was happy to have made another friend since she only had Yin Eve.

"Hey Asuma. Sorry I didn't tell you it was going to be Yusuke" I said.

"It's all good we're all friends after all" she smiled happily.

Before I knew it we where already on the road. While talking with Asuma I had totally forgotten to ask where we where going. I didn't even notice till I started noticing we had entered down town.

"So exactly what place is it?" I asked looking outside as we stopped.

"We're here" It was the new restaurant that had just open 2 weeks ago and had gotten very famous fast for its food and service.

I can't afford this place. I looked over at Asuma as she also looked shocked.

"Yusuke you do know we can't afford this place right" I nervously said.

"Who said I was going to let y'all pay. It's on me." He smiled as the two men approached the car, one opening the door for me and Asuma and the other taking Yusuke keys.

After getting off I noticed there was a line formed for the people who where waiting.

"It's a long line Yusuke" I said as I looked over at him.

"We don't have to wait I made reservations" he said as me and Asuma followed behind him. Right at the entrance I notice some familiar faces.

It was Ye Shu. What a coincidence. She was with her two minions and the two guys that where friends with Yusuke

Asuma noticed my expression as she looked over and saw. We went to the front when Ye Shu noticed us.

"Eww what are you doing here. You can't even afford this place and the line is all the way to the back" she rolled her eyes as she crossed her hands together. Her minions looked up and down at us as the guys just gave Yusuke a look.

"Don't tell me your taking these girls out to eat" Lee Bae said as in-Inosuke gave him a look.

"So what if I am, they're my friends. So if you would excuse me" Yusuke made his way to the front but got stopped by Ye Shu

Gu Yusuke then appeared in front of her as she looked at him with dreamy eyes "Why dont you take me out to eat instead" she leaned in and he looked at her with a cold face and said "your on my way" she then moved aside as he went to go talk to the host.

He later waved his hand at us to come when Ye Shu noticed and went up there too

"Why do they go to go first, ive been waiting 2 hours in line for this and they just got here, plus they can't even afford this place they're poor" she was mad at that point and I felt so annoyed by her.

The host looked at her and said "they have reservations miss and you don't" Ye Shu looked over at me and before she could say something I beat her to it.

"If you don't want to humiliate yourself more I would go back to the spot I was, you don't wanna lose it do you" Gu Yusuke and Chiu Asuma both looked surprised at my respond as Ye Shu turned red and walked over to her spot again.

As we followed a server came to our table Ye Shu had already told all of her friends what I had said to her.

They sat us next to this window in the second floor. Asuma sat to my left while Yusuke sat in front of us.

A server then came to get our drink orders and brought some appetizers to the table while we looked through the menu.

Everything on the menu sounded so good but I was having trouble deciding, I looked over to asuma who was also looking at the menu.

"Have you decided" I asked.

She looked over at me and smiled "I was thinking of getting this seafood plate it comes with a lot of yummy things"

I looked over to the menu "I think ima get some sushi and some chow mein"

Yusuke looked up from his menu and smiled "i think ima go with what asuma is going to have" he said

He then signal the waiter that we where ready and took our order. After that we just started chatting and laughing when Ye Shu and her little group started coming up the stairs and sat them down two tables away from us.

I could feel her burning eyes of how mad she was, I looked over making eye contact with her giving her a cold stare then paying attention back to my friends.

"I'll be right back I'm going to the wash room" I said. I excused myself leaving both of them alone.

I headed to the wash room and into a stall.

"Today is where everything ends. Do you think having his baby is enough or should I also kill the girl" I listened closely as I peeked through the stalls opening.

A woman in her 20s was talking on the phone, she looked of high class with her new heels and new clothes. Her blond hair was short and her smile was all evil.

I could sense that what she was thinking of doing no good. I kept looking at her to see what she had planned when she took a little bag out of her purse that contain a white powder.

"Some of what you gave me will do the trick and knock him out. Sometimes drugs is the only way to get what you want" she then hung up and checked herself in the mirror, fixing her hair and makeup.

She smiled and left.

I opened the stall quick and went out following her to the third floor private rooms.

Private room? This person might be of money then.

I then see her head to a door that's guarded with 2 men outside. She touched their hand and both man looked down and nodded at her.

This is a set up.

She went Inside when a waiter was coming up with two champagne glasses heading into the room. So that's the drink.

I walked up to go in and both of them blocked the door.

"You can't go in miss this is a private room" I looked up at them with a cold stare.

"Your doing something that's against the law" I said. Both men looked shocked and ready to attack.

"Sorry miss but we can't have u interfere with the plan" he gave me a evil smile as he went to grab me.

I hit the side of his neck making him fall to the ground and getting the other one from the arm, twisting it and breaking it.

"Get out of my way" I open the door fast coming across the men about to sip out of drugged champagne.

"Don't drink it" i looked over at him as he was shocked looking behind him to find his bodyguards on the ground. One unconscious and the other with a broken arm.

The woman from the bathroom looked like she had been caught.

"Can i help you with something" he asked as he put the drink down.

"Don't drink it" I headed over getting the champagne and handing it to the woman.

"Drink it" both looked surprised

"You Foolish girl what do you think your doing" she then looked over to the man sitting across from her "do something Sam" she demand standing up

"Why don't you sit down and drink it" I order her

She sat back down scared that she will end up like the bodyguards outside.

The mans driver than came upstairs since the bodyguards weren't responding coming to see that both where on the ground badly wounded and his boss was sitting down watching to see what Yin Eve had planned.

He was amused of what this girl had done.

"What are you trying to prove" the woman asked.

I smiled "if Im right which I am you laced his drink with some drugs so that you could sleep with him and get pregnant and if not kill a girl" I was holding out my hand still with the drink towards her

She looked like she wanted to leave because she had been caught but still replied acting like she didn't do nothing "what makes you think I'm capable of that"

"Maybe a phone call being made in the restroom" her eyes went wide she didn't think no one was in there since she didn't hear anything.

"Drink it" she grabbed the drink and took sips of it and In a matter of seconds passed out. I headed towards her and grabbed her bag pulling out the drug she had used and her phone.

The guy that she had called sam was surprised and pissed off.

I handed him the phone and bag "the person who she last called was on this with her maybe that will help you and your bodyguards where also in on this" I said

That's when I looked at him he had light brown hair hazel eyes and a strong sharp jawline.

"Im impressed miss?"

"Yin Eve" I said

His driver headed towards him calling for backup.

"It's alright lei" he said and turned to me "the name is Xue Sam, it's a pleasure meeting you I cannot thank you enough for what you have done" he then looked over towards his driver who had called the cops already.

"Make sure everything is for correct I don't want her getting out and look at the last person she called and trace it" he demanded

He then looked over towards me taking out a card "this is my card if you ever need anything in the future don't hesitate to call" he smiled

I smiled "don't worry I won't"

I left the room going to the second floor back to the table, the food had arrived and I continued talking to my friends like nothing seeing Xue Sam walk pass and nod at me.

This is where my plan starts I will use my resources and make connections to get where I want to be at.

For the rest of the night I ate and laughed with my friends.

XUE SAM

He was on the phone with the girl he loved telling her everything that happen.

"That girl is sure interesting, do a background check on her I might need her help with some things later" he demanded.
