3 18th birthday
Yin Eve had been woken up by birds chirping outside her window as she sat up and looked at the time 7:05 a.m
"Oh no I'm so late to school" she rushed up to get her uniform changing as fast as possible, her uniform contained two colors blue and white, the color shirt being white and the skirt being blue She wore white shoes with it. She got her bag and right before exiting her room she tripped over some paintings landing on her knees. "Great just great. My 4th week as a senior and I'm late" she rushed of to school running since Yin Meilin only had one car and she took it to work.
The school distance from her house running was about 25 minutes and taking the bus was about 10 depending with traffic.
She got out the woods and tied her hair up, if she wanted to make it by the first morning class she'll have to get there before 7:30 a.m she was going to have to have to hurry up.
As time passed by she got around the corner when a middle age woman got in her way and they knocked into each other. The woman had been carrying a bucket of apples and the apples where now everywhere. The woman fell backwards on to her butt while Yin eye fell forward scraping her knees on the hot concrete.
"Miss are you okay? I am so sorry I should've watched out. Maybe if I wasn't in such a hurry I would've seen where I was going" Yin Eve looked up as she noticed the woman just panicking picking her apples up since she also was late to work. Yin Eve then started helping her while still trying to apologize "I'll watch out next time I am so sorry" Yin Eve got the last of the Apples when the lady looked up to thank her and tell her it was fine but before she could do that Yin Eve was already gone. "Mmm I should thank her later if I see her"
Yin Eve ran into the school making her way up the stairs to her classroom, the hallways had been empty since class started six minutes ago. Yin Eve open the door to her classroom storming in "I made it Im not late" Everyone in the class moved their eyes to Yin Eve and the teacher stoped teaching her lesson. "Miss Yin can you please tell me the reason your late to class" it didn't even sound like a question but a demand.
Ju Tanjiro, as much as she cared for Yin Eve she couldn't give her special treatment since it wouldn't be fair for the other students and even so Yin Eve already knew since Ju Tanjiro has helped her out on the first years when she was new.
"I'm so sorry Miss Ju I woke up late-" before Yin Eve could even finish she was cut off by Ye Shu "excuses. excuses. excuses." Ye Shu had many hate and envy towards Yin Eve she had made her last two school years hell and made everyone hate her too. When Yin Eve has been a new student all the guys where engaged by her beauty meanwhile most of the girls where envious by her beauty and the attention she got. Ye Shu was one of them, she was so mad she started bullying Yin Eve and everyone followed along. Nobody dared to not follow Ye Shu since her family was so powerful.
"Do not speak unless you are asked to be spoken to" Miss Ju snapped at Ye Shu she immediately looked down and stayed quiet. Nobody dared to disobey her.
As Miss Ju looked over at Yin Eve who was staring at Ye Shu, she noticed her knees that where bleeding "Miss Yin Eve go to the nursery and get your wounds clean" that was all she said before turning around and going back to the lesson. Ye Shu looked at Yin Eve in disgust and all Yin Eve could do was just look down and walk away.
She made her way to the nurses office and sat down in a bed. She didn't know exactly what to say so all she did was look down. One of the nurses had came by and noticed her wounds "Miss Yin Eve what happen now?" The nurses where all familiar with Yin Eve since she always came in either Bc she got slapped, beaten, or thrown food at.
Yin Eve looked away out to the window where the forest was at.
"Mmm not talking. Okay. Someone will come in a bit to treat your wounds" the nurse backed out with sadness as she wished Yin Eve would talk to her and tell her but it was impossible to get something out of her mouth.
Around the corner Gu Yusuke was walking by when he noticed Yin Eve in the nursery. The nursery was big with six beds in total and three desk where the nurses kept their information and files. He walked in with some papers he had and placed them on a desk he then noticed her wounded knees and walked over to a counter getting some bandages and alcohol.
He made his way towards her and grabbed a rolling chair he put some gloves on as he took a look at her wounds "there not that bad you'll be good in some days" he then proceed to get a towel and soak it with alcohol.
As the towel touched her knees she whined in pain. She moved her knees a little far away from Gu Yusuke "thats not gonna help you" he then proceed to clean it this time she didn't back away all she did was look outside.
Once Gu Yusuke finished wrapping her wounds he looked up to her locking eyes with her. A smiles appeared in his face "you have to be careful or you could really injure yourself" Yin Eve smiled at him and looked around to see it was just them. She wondered where the nurse had went to, she was so in her thoughts she wasn't paying attention.
"Look who talks" she glazed back at him as he put the bandages and alcohol up. Gu Yusuke was a fine handsome man. He had white hair just like her and Golden brown eyes. He looked as if he has a well built body with broad shoulders and was 5'10.
Gu Yusuke was the student council Vice President and also very smart, he was one of the top 10 best students of the school. Gu Yusuke had always been so kind to Yin Eve always smiled at her but never talked, it was as if they spoke in silence.
"Your the one that never talks" Gu Yusuke looked at Yin Eve as he helped her down "you should really take it easy now don't wanna get more hurt" Yin Eve looked at Gu Yusuke and from the corner of her eyes she saw a girl taking a picture. This is the reason. She knew the girl will send the picture to Ye Shu and later on will find her to teach her a lesson.
She looked over at Gu Yusuke and walked away leaving him by himself. He was so confused as he saw the girls laughing with their phone on their hands
He walked over pissed and took the phone from the girl "what's wrong with you give it" the girl try taking the phone from him as he deleted the picture that had been sent. He gave her back her phone as he looked her dead in the eyes "if you dare take a picture of me again without my permission and spread a rumor with it I will sue you" the girl looked terrified since she knew he came from a more powerful family than hers
She then took off walking fast back to her class.
Yin Eve had gotten back to class and was sitting on her seat next to Chiu Asuma.
Chiu Asuma was the only person in the school who she considered her friend, not because she was like her and didn't talk and stayed to herself but because after Yin Shu would do her evil towards Yin Eve she would always be there after taking care of Yin Eve.
Chiu Asuma had the beauty of a princess, she had pretty long light brown hair with cute bangs that didn't cover her eyes which made her sweet kind Lila eyes stand out from others, she was short and quiet but her aura was bright like no other. She still remembers the first time they met like it was yesterday.
It had been Yin Eves second week of school as a sophomore and was trying to adapt to her environments and make friends even Ye Shu had came up to her with her minions greeting her with fake kindness and a fake smiles. She had reached her hand out to great Yin Eve, she was happy to have thought she finally made friends when Ye Shu slaps her twice making Yin Eve fall to the floor.
Yin Eve had her hands towards her cheeks and her eyes filled with tears as Ye Shu grabbed her by her hair making her look up at her and leaned towards her and whispered "if you think you can make friends and belong here just by being a pretty face your wrong... I will make your school life hell" Ye Shu stepped back and smiled at her while her friends laughed and left.
Yin Eve couldn't move as she was afraid she'll break the minute she did.
From far away sitting against a tree was Chiu Asuma who had witnessed everything. She got up and made her way towards Yin Eve as Yin Eve looked up to see her she closed her eyes afraid she do the same but instead when she opened them she saw nothing more than Chiu Asuma handing her a cupcake.
She took it and looked at Chiu Asuma confused and she walked away and came back 15 minutes later with an ice pack for Yin Eve.
The girls from that day stayed by each other and ate at a spot together. Yin Eve came to learn a lot about Chiu Asuma, about how her family was Poor and owned a bakery which made Chiu Asuma a great Baker.
After the first morning class had ended Yin Eve and Chiu Asuma headed towards the schools cafe. The schools cafe was different than a regular school theirs was based off two floor, the first floor containing their modern luxury cafe while the second floor was more tropical full of plants and areas to eat outside.
They had over 8 chefs in each floor and in each floor you could either get a table with a chef that cooks in front of you or just dine in and wait for your food and since the school was a private high class school the food was obviously expensive. The kids who couldn't afford the food only went in to sit down and study or talk with their friends but never to eat.
Yin Eve and Chiu Asuma headed towards the second floor to the outside patio which was covered in tropical plants and had fans out so the students won't get hot.
They sat at a table in the corner as Chiu Asuma took out two cupcakes placing them down and handing one towards Yin Eve.
Yin Eve took a plate of fruits out that she had cut from a tree outside her house in the woods. Both girls read a book while eating fruit and towards the end a their cupcake.
Chiu Asuma looked up from her book towards Yin Eve "How's your book coming along?" Yin Eve looked up finding Chiu Asuma smiling at her "it's actually pretty great, did you know that crystals are made when liquids start to harden and molecules gather together as an attempt to become stable?"
Recently on the pass week Yin Eve had gotten an interest on crystals and how they form, she didn't know why but she felt like she was being pulled to learn about them.
Chiu Asuma was about to open her mouth to say something when Gu Yukuse had gotten a chair and sat down with them "I took care of the girls that took a picture of us" with that Yin Eve was surprised she wanted to know what was going on in his mind but it was to hard to read him. "Thank you, but you didn't have to bother" Gu Yusuke took out some meatballs and placed them on the table and took out some paper work he had for student council.
Chiu Asuma and Yin Eve looked at each other and then looked at him, she then Proceed to get a meatball and take a bite.
She fell in love they where to good to be true, it was showed all over her face too. Gu Yusuke looked at her with a big smile "how do they taste?"
Chiu Asuma looked at Gu Yusuke as he looked like a little boy waiting for his mom to tell him he did a good job. She blushed and looked down at her book.
"They taste amazing" she had said it in such a low voice but enough for him to hear as she continued to finish the meatball. Gu Yusuke had tried to make the perfect Meatballs in such a long time that when he finally though he mastered it, he wanted someone to try it just to see if they actually tasted as good as he thought so too.
Gu Yusuke smiled and went back to his work as Yin Eve slowly also got one and took a bite. She was in shook at how good they tasted. Wow.
She was confused on why Gu Yusuke suddenly sat with her and stayed to finish his work with them but she wasn't gonna tell him to leave either.
None of them noticed how they where all being stared at and on the inside of the second floor was Ye Shu. If you where to look at her I swear you would've seen smoke come out of her ears.
She got up and made her way to the balcony. Everyone was just waiting to see what she would do. She slowly went to Gu Yusuke and put her hand on his shoulder making Chiu Asuma and Yin Eve look at them.
"Did Yin Eve do something to you for you to be sitting with her? You can tell me we all know she's just evil and a slut" she said it in such a innocent way which made it look ugly on her.
"Why don't you come sit with me and the rest" by that time her minions Chin-sun and Choon-hee where standing behind her by her side and by the door where Gu Yusuke friends Lee bae and
In-inosuke.
They all stared as a lot of people gather around. Gu Yusuke smiled had wear off and had a cold face now "I'm good, you can go back, your disturbing my peace and my friends" at that time Lee bae had made his way towards the front "Yusuke are you really gonna sit with the losers? Cmon we all know she's a whore" at that point Gu Yusuke got up and was up close to Lee bae their faces where almost touching. Gu Yusuke was pissed off he wanted to know why they treated her so bad, she hadn't done nothing to them.
Yin Eve and Chiu Asuma wanted to leave but it was to crowded. They started putting their things up when Gu Yusuke turn his face towards them "don't put your things up. We're not leaving they are"
"If I where you I'd consider leaving us alone, and if you even talk about my friends in a rude way again you won't be able to look anytime soon" Lee bae backed away "let's go y'all and Yusuke we'll talk later"
After that the crowd calm down and everyone went back to doing what they where doing meanwhile others just talked and kept looking
"Why did you do that? You know what they will do to us" Yin Eve was worried that Ye Shu would later find her to teach her a lesson to stay away from Gu Yusuke.
"She won't I'll make sure she won't touch y'all" he then sat down and looked at them "I know we never really talked but is it fine if I'm a part of y'all's group? Or am I like the others" Yin Eve looked at him. She knew he wasn't like the others. He was always kind and even thought they had small conversations when she would get hurt she knew he had a kind heart.
She smiled "it's okay"
Chiu Asuma wasn't always open so she just nodded and concentrated on her book. For the rest of their break they just focus on work.
Afternoon classes where about to start in five minutes, the three of them headed out the cafe towards the fountain in the front of the school.
The front of the school had two big gates for the entrance and a big fountain in the middle, it led to stairways and inside the school where the hallways with classrooms and at the back of the school was a forest.
Yin Eve and Chiu Asuma headed inside their classroom and sat down in the back row.
Yin Eve looked over at Chiu Asuma "How do you feel about Gu Yusuke sitting with us and being our friend? You didn't say much" Chiu Asuma just looked at her not knowing what to say because she honestly didn't know how she felt about the whole situation.
They sat down as class was about to start in one minute and Ye Shu and her minions came in, they all had lollipops in their mouths as the headed to their seats.
They kept looking over at them and laughing it pissed Yin Eve off.
"Just ignore them" Chiu Asuma had whispered it in a low voice while keeping her head down.
During class Miss Ju started talking about legends when Yin Eve had fallen into a deep sleep she was dreaming. Well she thought she was but it was more than that.
Soon she was standing outside in a patio facing a beautiful garden it had many plants it made her wanna just go lay down on the soft grass. As the wind blew she heard a voice.
"Are you gonna stand there all day? Cmon we are supposed to be practicing. Plus whoever loses has to buy the other food" Yin Eve looked over at a girl with short white hair and blue eyes like hers. Who is she?
Both girls then got ready and in less then ten seconds they where fighting. Yin Eve felt like she had no control of this dream she had dodged her kick and spun in the hair and kicked the other girl on the side. The girl managed to keep her balance and used her hands as a guide as she did a cartwheel and kicked Yin Eve in the stomach.
While the girls got into it minutes passed and nun of them won, they had both gotten exhausted and had lost their energy to continue.
Yin Eve then looked at the girl "You know they're right we are too similar in combat"
The other girl just laughed as they both heard applauses from above and saw two man clapping. "Magnificent but who's gonna go against me"
What is this. I don't know these people. Yin Eves dream faded away as she was all alone in the dark and far away she saw a big white dragon emerge from the ground. It was heading towards her at a fast speed.
Her first instant was to run. She turned around running as the dragon got close to her and started going on a circle around her trapping her in with no way out.
"What do you want" she screamed at the dragon and blue flames where all over it's body, she had no escape and the dragon went towards her and she heard him say "I'm here to do what you want" before it crashed into her.
A burning pain started Forming on her lower back as she fell to the floor trying to hold herself up but it was too painful tears started falling down her face.
"Wake up, wake up, Eve!!!" Chiu Asuma and all the other student where worried as they Yin Eve on the Floor. Miss Ju hurried to her side.
"What happen, she's burning up" everyone tried waking her up but Ye Shu just though she was doing it for attention.
Yin Eve couldn't handle the pain it was to much and her back was hurting.
"I want you to remember everything" that's what the dragon said before it faded into her. Her whole life flashed through her eyes. She remembered her sister she was the one she was fighting and the two man on the balcony from above that where Applauding where her brother and father.
She remember the day her mom was killed and how she jumped off the boat with the crystal.
She remembered who killed her.
Yin Eve woke up and everyone was around her but she was in pain her back hurt like hell and her heart was hurt at the memory of her mother.
"Don't worry the nurses are coming" Mis Ju and Chiu Asuma where both helping her up.
She didn't wanna go to the hospital she didn't wanna be at school at all and with all the energy she had left she got her bag fast and and ran away. The nurses and teacher tried going after her but she was too fast and was already gone. She couldn't stop. She didn't want to stop.
She knew the second she'd stop running she'd break down so she ran all the way home into the back woods.
She went in deep where no one will find her. She broke down on her knees as tears just came out. She thought to herself, why? Why me?
She screamed letting everything out covering her face with her hands as she then calmed down and open her eyes. The grass was burn and in the distance there was blue flames all over. She did that. For the rest of the day she stayed there Into 9:00 pm when the sun had came down and there was nothing but darkness.
She got home finding Yin Meilin cooking, she tuned around to find Yin Eve with messy hair and bandages on her knees and dirt all over her uniform "what happen Eve?"
Yin Eve smiled "nothing I just fell on my way home, you know clumsy me" she then went into her room and looked at herself in the mirror. Wow. No wonder she asked what happen.
She had dirt all over her hair and her hair was all over the place. Her uniform was all dirty too.
"Thank god is Friday" she grabbed a pair of changed clothes and headed towards the bathroom filling the sink up with hot water.
She started taking her uniform off when her back was still in pain she then noticed in the mirror that there was a black mark in her back. It was a dragon it was on her spine going from her waist to the middle of her shoulders.
After some minutes the whole bathroom was stemmed up by the hot water and Yin Eve was in the tube. She held her knees up to her face and thinking what she was gonna do.
She can go and claim she's Lui Lian and tell the police and her family what happen and they would take care of it. But she didn't want that.
In that moment she had her plan. She will be somebody powerful and slowly get revenge on the Wang family.
Yin Eve looked up and relaxed her body in the tube. She smiled at all the ideas that came to her head.
"Happy 18 birthday to me"
