17 The Winking Assassin (2)

"Bryan and Sophia, you'll have one chance to ask me a question, and I'll answer because earlier on, you both didn't speak during the session, so live, and until then, I'll put this question on hold until the end of the game." All of a sudden, Mister Pyg said to the both of them.

"Great! I can ask him where the others are being teleported to, especially I need to find that useless sister of mine, as well as my Mom and Dad and also the others. I'm not going to die in this wretched room. I need to focus on this game or else, I would surely die at this rate!" While thinking like this, Bryan's eyes flashed with resolve, at the same time, he gripped his knuckles tightly to further encourage himself.

On the other hand, Sophia is overjoyed that she will be able to ask Mister Pyg a question of her own. "I should ask where my mother is; maybe I'll be able to find out her current whereabouts from this pig." Sophia thought of her question and became worried about her mother's well-being as well as fraught with anxiety.

Meanwhile, the two other young women looked on in apprehension, but with a tinge of envy in their eyes, since both of them also has a lot of questions in their minds that needed to be answered, but unfortunately, they had spoken earlier. Which they deeply regretted.

"This session ends now. Good luck to everyone. You're going to need it, "Mister Pyg said, smiling at his students.

"The game will begin in 5 seconds,"

[The Winking Assassin Commences]

After the book started the game by speaking through their minds, the group of youths breathing became ragged and they stood motionless. Subsequently, all of them were fearfully dating back and forth from each other and were attempting to figure out who the murderer was.

"Which one of these women is the murderer?" Bryan was slightly calm until the game began, but when it counted down and officially commences, he gradually became terrified after he saw the women's expressions were filled with indescribable terror; he envisioned that this game would be easy to accomplish, but reality and imagination were far apart, and soon he struggled to remain his composure and was in dismay.

In an instant, he devised a method to not only save their lives but also winning this game by preventing it from killing them all. Though, it's slightly stupid, but, you wouldn't know unless you tried.

"So, How about we... Just show our cards to each other and then we'll manage to find the murderer right away? What do you guys think...?" Bryan made a proposal to the team.

Hearing Bryan's suggestion, the trio of young women quickly agreed to it. But, just before they were about to reveal their cards, a deep voice suddenly interrupted them.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Mister Pig warned his students. "Rules are rules, and if you're caught cheating, then you know what would happen to you... But, if you do cheat, then you are welcome to do so."

Hearing that guttural voice, their bodies were suddenly giving out warning signals as they were gradually drenched in sweat, at the same time, they were laboriously breathing in and out. As such, the outlines of their figures could be seen through their wet clothes, particularly the women, whose sexy curves were on full display.

In his view, Bryan was staring fixedly at them, as if he didn't seem to notice their enticing figures and was simply solely focused on their faces to see if he could get any clues coming out from them and he can immediately catch the killer right away.

"How can I track down the killer?" Bryan hastens his analysis as he observes the others. In his vision, the women were seen in soaked clothing, their undergarments were visible, and they all looked dizzy as if they were running a marathon.

"Don't look at me, Bryan. I'm not the murderer... Please... Believe me." Lisa stammered a response, while tears were flowing down her cheeks as she looked at Bryan pitifully, and was looking at him for protection.

"Neither do I, I'm a play...player," Mia's fearful anxiety can be seen as she also stammers a response. Her mind was whirling in a circle and her vision became blurry, so she knelt down on the ground to steady herself. As her body seemed to have been sapped out of strength.

Deep inside her heart, she believed that she couldn't keep it together any much longer; at the same time, her eyes were turning red and tears were welling up in the corner of her eyes, ready to overflow.

"You should count me out as well... I can assure you, Bryan, that I'm not the person who you are looking for," Sophia quickly replied, seeing that the rest of the group locked their gazes at her with unblinking eyes.

Her black underwear was visible due to the excessive sweat she produced. Since she has been trained to be in situations that place her under pressure, so she could bear this strain even better than the others. Yet, the pressure she's felt in this room is on a whole other level.

She may have been in contact with a lot of deaths, but when the tables have turned and when she's now one of the ones to die.

Her body couldn't stop shivering in fear, and she shook her head to the group repeatedly to deny that she's not the murderer.

"God damn it! Who the hell is the fucking murderer? These women all have the same fearful expressions; how am I supposed to know whether they're telling the truth or not?" Seeing the situation in front of him. Bryan became enraged, as the situation is getting out of hand and he didn't know what to do anymore.

After seeing that Bryan is in a fit of rage and was no longer looking like the dependable man he once was; the women's minds were threatening to break down when recognizing that their most reliable person in the group was seen in a sorry state.

'Bam!'

All of a sudden, a noise was heard as the group of young women were inspecting Bryan punching the ground in a sorry state, and as such, it further deescalates their composure and even some of them were already beginning to cry as they knelt down and wept like a little girl.

This group of young women seemed to have forgotten that Bryan is just a regular guy who plays video games daily. And that such a responsibility is too much for him to handle.

He may have been seen as a dependable guy in the past, but the weight of such burden in shouldering of all of their lives was too much for him to bear.

There was silence along with a hint of sobbing for an inexplicable amount of time after the unexpected noise, and they were at a loss on what to do, with their tears clouding their vision as they tried to look in each other's eyes to see if someone would suddenly wink in hopes of capturing the murderer.

Yet, they all thought that this was an impossible outcome to solve and that in order to find the murderer, they would have to raise sensitive questions about themselves.

"Chop-Chop students, do I need to remind you that the timer is already set and the clock is ticking? You should hurry up if you don't want to die. Hahaha..." Suddenly a harsh-sounding voice rang out at the door and they realized that they had all lost their cool, and had forgotten that they were currently being watched by a frightening man-eating creature.

Bryan immediately came to a halt when he realized that the game had a timer; earlier on, he had assumed that the game would go all the way and continue before they apprehended the killer or the killer killed them all.

He had already looked over the game objective in his Hidden Book countless times and he hadn't seen a timer anywhere placed inside it.

"Everyone! Take a quick look at your book to see if there really is a timer!" Bryan hurriedly spoke to the others.

In an instant, the group of youths immediately willed their books to appear in front of them, grabbed them, and quickly read through the pages before proceeding to the blinking red section.

[The Winking Assassin]

Game Objective:

In each round of play, one player is secretly assigned the role...

The group skipped the introduction and hurriedly reviewed the final section and as a result, they stood there in horror.

Bryan could be seen gnashing his teeth in anger as he read the following words in the book that was stated.

The objective of the murderer is to murder as many people as possible without being caught...

"That Fucking PIG! This game was rigged by him!" Bryan roared in his mind, his blood boiling in rage as he stared hatefully at that damnable monster.
