15 The Prophecy

~PERCY POV~

I woke up to water splashing on my face. An excellent way to start a day.

"OI BROTHER WAKE UP. ARTEMIS IS CALLING. IT IS NEARLY TIME TO LEAVE."

I wiped off the water which had stationed itself in my eye sockets to see Olivia standing next to me with her hands in mid-air. "Huh?" I said with a yawn. "You forgot? We have to go to Olympus. Lady Artemis told you-" She blushed "-When she took you out last night." I blushed, she saw us I thought.

"Anyway, Lady Artemis is waiting outside. She did come inside but she saw something which made her go out completely red. I guess you haven't gone too far." She winked at me. I looked at my chest and noticed my bare chest. I blushed and covered myself with the blanket. Olivia laughed and walked out saying to hurry up as we had to leave soon.

Olivia left so I got up and quickly freshened up and got ready. I checked if I had my pen in my pocket. I knew it would be there but still, it gave me peace of mind if I knew it was there. I took my hoodie/cloak and walked out. I saw the whole camp waiting for me just outside the cabin.

"I guess you still sleep a lot quite a lot, Percy," Leo exclaimed. "Quite heavily too" Calypso added.

"L-Looks like you sleep quite exposed as well." Stuttered Artemis who was still very much red. I blushed a little but then changed the topic. "Anyway, it is time to leave."

I walked up to Artemis and stood beside her. I saw that the six heroes from my last major quest, Jason, Leo, Piper, Hazel, Frank, and Annabeth, along with that idiot Zach, Calypso and Reyna were standing on my left while Grover, Chiron, and Nico along with the hunters of Artemis and Olivia were standing on Artemis' right. There were few other campers from either Camp Jupiter or Camp Half-Blood, which were handpicked by Chiron to accompany us to Olympus.

I noticed that Reyna had been staring at me for quite some time, and I couldn't blame her. I had disappeared for several years with no clue where I was and suddenly turn up as the boyfriend of Artemis. I think I should ask Artemis for divine protection because I feel I won't survive if Reyna found me alone.

Next to her stood Zach, who too, was staring at me, but unlike Reyna's glare, his glare was not at all intimidating. His face was still a bit deformed and covered with Band-Aids after his last beating. Looked like had tried to make a move on Reyna and Annabeth, who both were standing adjacent to him, as he looked like had been slapped twice on different cheeks. I smiled a bit and looked at Artemis. I nodded, as we should leave. And with a flash, we reached Olympus.

All the gods, except Artemis of course, then left my side (internal crying) and sat on her god-sized throne. Then Zeus began-

"TODAY WE HAVE TO SPEAK ABOUT LOTS OF MATTERS. FIRST OF ALL, ARTEMIS."

Artemis and I gasped. "YOU ARE DATING PERSEUS JACKSON?"

We are dead meat.

~ANNABETH POV~

It has been quite a busy morning. The gods have set up another meeting today, and apparently, we all have to attend, it must be something really important. I got up early and have been reading things that might prove to be necessary. I got out of my cabin and walked to the mess hall.

I walked past the Poseidon cabin and remembered that Percy had returned a few days ago, but had refused to talk to me. Sad, I walked to the mess hall. I sat vacant for a quarter of an hour when others started to come. We had breakfast, but I couldn't spot Percy, as the only person on the Poseidon table was Olivia. Once I finished breakfast, I tried to approach Olivia to ask her if she knew where Percy was. But when I approached her, she ignored me and walked away. I tried to run behind her to ask her what happened. When I managed to grab her shoulder, she pushed my hand off and said I shouldn't go near her brother.

I understood that Percy had told her about what happened. I fell onto my knees, I thought that I had at least received Percy's sister's words that I was forgiven, but now those were taken away as well.

I felt depressed. I went back to my cabin but then Chiron called everyone to the Poseidon cabin as it was time to leave. When I reached the cabin, I realized that everyone was waiting for Percy who was still in bed. Olivia was inside the cabin trying to wake Percy up. Then Artemis went inside too but soon came out with a red face. Looking at her made me angry. Percy should be mine. You have no right to go and visit him. I thought. A minute later Olivia came out as well and said-"He will be out in a minute."

Soon Percy came out wearing his regular black hoodie/cloak. He stood beside Artemis and looked around for a bit. Once he had seen every person going, he nodded towards Artemis and we teleported to Olympus.

In Olympus, all the gods looked nervous, as if they were going to have some guests. Artemis walked away from Percy and sat on her throne. Then Zeus Shouted-

"TODAY WE HAVE TO SPEAK ABOUT LOTS OF MATTERS. FIRST OF ALL, ARTEMIS. YOU ARE DATING PERSEUS JACKSON?"

I nearly shouted with joy. Now she has to break up with Perseus and now will grab him again.

But then Zeus continued- "Very well. You can continue dating."

Wait for a second, WHAT? Did he just say 'continue dating'?

"Yes fellow people, they can continue dating. I feel it would be better if I let Artemis have her way, or Olympus would fall real quick. Also, this might be the best way to redeem my foolish son's acts towards Percy."

"YES" I heard Percy shout. I was left gaping at Zeus. I felt so much anger and sadness inside me. Now there was no way that I could snatch Percy back, now that even the Gods agreed with this. I wanted to cry.

Then Apollo asked, "I suppose that isn't the only reason you called us here, right father?" there was slight muttering among the crowd when Zeus started- "That is right, son. Many of you would have noticed that the monsters have started moving once again. But Gaia and Kronos both have lost power which means some other thing is rising. We can't ignore that that Percy's mother was kidnapped or that fact that the monsters grouped to strategically finish off Artemis and her hunt which happen to be a major part of the army of gods." Everyone in the room gasped. Percy looked angry. "WHAT? SALLY WAS KIDNAPPED?" Poseidon shouted. "WHY WAS I NOT TOLD ABOUT IT?" "Calm down uncle," Apollo said. "I have been feeling weird. I am going to give a prophecy."

"Hold up," Percy said. "Why are you giving Prophecies? Isn't that the work of Oracles?" "Percy, I am the god of Prophecies," Apollo exclaimed at Percy's foolishness. "Oh right, I forgot," Percy said. Everyone facepalmed.

With this Apollo's eyes went full gold and he uttered the words-

When the void shall return

When roaring god goes on a rage

When the champion of steam come 23 of age

The seas will the churn and the lands shall burn

The gap and terror he shall engage

And will end the final age

With this, Apollo's eyes became normal and he collapsed. Percy and Artemis went to help him, while the other gods thought about it. Even my mother looked perplexed. I couldn't make the heads or tails of it.

When Apollo came back to his senses, he was shown the prophecy which made him sweat in terror. "This isn't good at all," Apollo said. "Why?" Percy asked. "Because this is a sestet."

"A what?" Zeus asked. "A sestet. The last six lines of a sonnet are called a sestet. My grandmother Phoebe once told me that sestet denoted the end. The end of the world."

Many campers gasped. "But what does it mean?" I asked.

"Well I am not sure, but I have a slight idea," Zeus said. "The void could only mean one thing, Chaos."

"Chaos? What is that supposed to be?" asked Percy. I sighed. Percy doesn't know anything without me. "Chaos is the father of everything," Chiron said. "When there was nothing, there was chaos. Chaos created Gaia, Tartarus, Ouranos, and Pontus, which later gave birth to the Titans and Giants."

"So basically, this Chaos is on loose?" asked Percy.

"It looks like it." Said Zeus grimly. "If he is on loose, it is highly that your mother was kidnapped either by him or by one of his crooks." Percy stared at him. "Also, it is likely that you are the hero it talks about."

"WHAT?"

"Of course, you are the son of the god of water and the champion of the goddess of fire. When you mix water and Fire you get steam. That would explain the 'Champion of Steam' title you have." Mother stated.

But what about the Roaring god, or the terror, or the final age the prophecy talks about? Is it what I think it is, Lord Zeus?" questioned Chiron.

Zeus nodded his head and looked at his two brothers, Poseidon and Hades. The three of them had grim faces as they turned towards Dionysus and asked him to explain.

Dionysus' eyes widened. "DON'T TELL ME IT IS THEM," Dionysus shouted. "Who is it, Brother Dionysus?" Artemis asked gently as if touching a soft spot. "When I was still a demigod, roaming around the world, conquering it with my army of satyrs and dryads, I was defeated by them." Dionysus croaked, sweating badly.

"The people I talk about are the people my father invited for today's meeting, the Indian Gods.
