4 Chapter 4 - Don't be naughty to not be made into an example
After the reunion between mother and son, Rei's mother told him not to go to his tutor, Rina-sensei's house for now.
When his mother picked her phone on the counter and for some unknown reason specifically went outside to made a call with murderous aura surrounding her, Rei approached his daughter and said with apologetic face , 「Sorry for neglecting you aside, Amara-chan, Rhian-chan, Natasia-chan.」
「It's okay, Father. We understand how much you missed Grandmother. Right, everyone?」, said Amara, to assure their father.
「Yes. I hope we didn't disturb your reunion instead, Father.」, added Rhian.
「But still, we didn't really expect to hear the way Grandmother called you, Father. Should we start calling you now Baby Father-chan or just Father-chan?」
「Mou, don't tease me, Amara-chan! And, and mother said that it sounded cute so she's calling me like that and I think it is. Or, or maybe it wasn't all this time….?」
「Tsk, you. Look what you did. You're making Father uncomfortable, you know.」, the third daughter Natasia glared and reprimanded her elder sister Amara with her arms crossed below her bountiful breast which she took great pride of because Rei loves it even though it was always getting in the way in her swordsmanship.
While as for the second daughter Rhian, she conforted her father within her chest while saying 「There, there. Elder sister didn't mean it that way.」
「Alright, alright. My bad, okay? I just can't help my self not to tease Father especially now that our mothers are not here. It's Father-chan fault for being so adorable, so you can't blame it all on me, you know.」
「Is, is that how it is? If so, then sorry for that. But even so! You shouldn't tease me, your Father, Amara-chan! Only bad daughters would do that and they need to be punished so no milk for you later! Hmph!」
One of his wives, the mother of Amara, already instructed him what to do whenever Amara teases him. Amara's mother knows well her daughter's personality and the things she would do once she's with her father, away from her mothers' sight, so she didn't forget to advise Rei.
「What!? No way, Father… Your joking, right? Please say that you didn't mean what you said. I just misheard you, right? Yes, it should be. There's no way something like that would come out of my adorable father.」
As she had always have her way to her cute father and satisfy her desire of teasing and tricking him, she didn't expect a day would come where her father would punish her, much more say something like 'no milk for you'. So she thinks that this is just a dream.
『No! This must be a dream!』 Amara thought to herself while she was down on her knees with her hands on her father's waist, trying to pull him from Rhian's embrace and make him face her. But her father broke her hope and said while still burying his face within Rhian's breast.
「H, Hmph! Y, your mom said that I need be strict sometimes for me to become a good father! And, and she said that my mother would praise me for it, so, um, yeah! Sorry Amara-chan but I need to be a good father!」
Hearing that made Amara realize how cruel the reality.
She turned to her younger sisters to ask for help, but Rhian just acted as if she didn't feel her gaze and kept patting her father's back while Natasia snorted at her.
「Kuh….. Why me…..」
「Hmph. Who told you to kept teasing our Father. Now you were made into an example. We might as well thank you for it.」
Hearing Natasia making fun of her misery, Amara glared at her younger sister.
「Ahem. Now now. You two that's enough. I think we deviated from the real reason why father approached us. So Father, is there anything you want for us to do?」
Hearing his second daughter, made Rei remember his intention earlier so, as if their previous antics have never happened, he immediately pushed Rhian's breast apart with his both hands and emerge his face from it to look up her eyes, 「Oh, right! I almost forgot. Mother should be still on the phone right now, so while she's still busy, let us go to my room as it will be boring if you were left standing here when mother come back.」
「Nn~! A, alright, Father…... We seems to be not needed here so, we might as well go to your room to find something better to do…...」, said Rhian while blushing.
「Yeah! This is the right time to inspect Father's phone thoroughly now that it can finally be connected to the something called WiFi! Right!? Rhian, Natasha!?」, Amara immediately added so that their Father won't have the time to remember about the punishment thing.
「Hmph.」, While Natasia just snort at Amara's pathetic attempt and slightly jealous at Rhian.
「Then let me guide you to my room.」
Breaking out from Rhian's embrace, Rei took her hand and started walking towards the backdoor of the bakeshop while motioning his other two daughters.
All things should be normal if not for another Rei who was waving goodbye at them on the spot where Rei was exactly standing earlier before he pulled Rhian's hands.
For another people, if they saw this scene, they would think that Rei have left an afterimage on the spot and have separated with it the moment he took a step while dragging Rhian's hand.
But this occurrence is already normal for Rei's daughters.
What happened is he just appeared in two different places at the same time using his expertise in Space-Time Elemental Law. While also using his skill of Parallel Minds, which grants him the ability to divide his conciousness and focus on multiple things at the same time, to move his two or more selves differently in deferent place.
Although it sounded so simple and Rei made it look so easy, even the goddess who summoned him could only do it for almost a day as it takes a lot of energy while Rei could do it indefinitely and even appear at many places he wants as if he was some kind of Primordial being as told by the goddess.
After seeing off his daughters and other self, the other Rei, who was left in the bakeshop, went directly to the display counter to grab some cookies to eat while waiting for his mother, while the other one was now about to enter their house with his three daughters.
「Alright, min'na! Welcome to my house. I know it's not much compared to our castle, but this house holds many precious memories for me so, I hope you won't feel uncomfortable staying here.」
「Don't worry, Father. We are instead extremely happy to be in the house where you were raised to be the adorable person you have become. I'm sure everyone back at Is-kai would be really jealous of us right now.」
Amara as usual was the first to speak as the most vocal and eldest of the three sisters to erase Rei's worries.
「Thanks, Amara-chan. That's reassuring to hear.」
After they went inside the house and proceeded to Rei's bedroom while talking, they finally arrived in front of his bedroom. Rei personally opened the door and motioned his daughter to come in.
Rie's house is big and there are only 2 bedroom on the second floor and a guest room on first floor so, his room is wide and aside from his bed that can fit 3 people, there is a traditional japanese short-legged table for 6-8 people to study.
There's also book shelf with few mangas of genres for kids like Digiwon, Detective Konan etc which was personally picked and bought by his mother, and a cabinet display for his favorite anime characters figurines.
「There's nothing much here in my room, but if you felt bored you can read some of my books or search the internet using my laptop or smartphone. And, um, if you're interested in mangas, my suggestion is Poquemon or Digiwon as, although it can't be compared to all the chibis one-horned cats, wolfs, dragon, etc, back in our floating city, there's still many cute chibi animals you will see in that stories. Detective Konan is also good and inspiring, because the protagonist would always caught the suspect and give justice to the poor victims.」
Rei suggested to his three daughters who was curiously looking around his room. Hearing him, Amara turned to him and said,
「Okay, Father. I think we will try to search the internet first as we were already very curious about it even before.」
One of the things their father had on him when he was summoned was his phone and they were amazed by how it worked when Rei showed it and told its functions to them.
「But I think Father should solely focus on your time together with Grandmother for now as you haven't been with her for a long time. You can just leave us here and we will be alright, Father. 」, Amara added.
His two daughters also smiled at him, to give him reassurance that they will be alright.
Seeing how understanding his daughters is, Rei said with teary eyes, 「Mi, min'na... then I will follow your suggestion, Amara-chan. Thanks for your consideration, min'na. Promise, Father will make it up to the three of you later.」
After waving goodbye at his daughters, Rei's body broke into light particles, leaving his three daughters in the room.
「Now then, while Father is occupied on his reunion with Grandmother, we shouldn't waste our time and instead start looking for any sign about the zombie apocalypse told by Godmother.」
Amara said to her sisters seriously. They would almost believe her if not for the nosebleed on her face.
Seeing the deadpan on her sisters face, Amara wiped her nose and said sneeringly, 「What? Before you judge me, you should first wipe that blood on your nose as well. And honestly, didn't you also think that Father's teary eyed expression is cute?」
Hearing Amara's words, the two sisters wiped their noses and shifted their gaze at her question.
