Chapter 3 - Returning from another world

After a bright light that temporarily blinded their sight, an unfamiliar street entered the trio sisters' eyes, but not for Rei. This was the street he always pass by every weekdays when he's going to the house of his tutor.

Rei suddenly felt a rare nostalgia. Although he thinks it's not that really long when he was gone, he can't help but feel like he was away for more than 100 years.

He's sure that it's only 20 years, so maybe his emotion was just making him not think properly.

As for his three daughters. The eldest, Amara, was curiously looking around the surroundings while still holding his hands.

While the second daughter, Rhian, was also doing the same but was still dutifully standing at his other side like a fine maid.

And the third daughter, Natasia, was being vigilantly watchful of the surroundings with her hand rested on the hilt of her longsword.

「Father, have we been sent to your world successfully?」, asked Amara.

「Un. We are now in my world. We're currently on the street where I was walking towards Rina-sensei's house before I was summoned.」

Rina-sensei is the mother of his classmate and friend. She's also a teacher at the school that he attends and became his homeroom teacher previously.

Right now, since there is lockdown due to some virus and there is no class, Rei always go every weekdays to the house of Rina-sensei to be tutored along with her daughter.

「Then Father, I suggest that you should resume back to your daily life so that everyone close to you won't feel suspicious for now while at the same time we explore around this city first to find some proof of the calamity told by Godmother.」, Amara suggested.

「Un. Let's go with that, Amara-chan. But first let's go back to my home and meet my mother as I already missed her. And…... I think you should not show yourselves in front of her for now until I find the right opportunity to tell everything that happened to me but, you should at least come and see who's your grandmother.」

He decided to wait for his wives before telling everything to his mother.

「Excuse me, Father. But I think you should change your clothes' appearance back to the one before you were summoned.」

After saying that, Rhian, the second daughter, took out the clothes which Rei was wearing when he was summoned.

She unfolded them and made them float in front of Rei so that he can properly see and copy it.

「Oh, I almost forgot about that. Thanks for reminding me, Rhian-chan」

Rei nodded in appreciation to his second daughter and look intently at his old clothes. After observing the design of the clothes, the clothes he's wearing suddenly glowed and after a while, they turned into the one which still being showed by Rhian in front of him.

He also took out his phone with a lanyard from his dimensional storage and hanged it on his neck.

Seeing that her Father was already done copying the clothes, Rhian delicately folded the clothes as it was her father's and kept it back to her Dimensional Storage, under the jealous gaze of her other two sisters.

Her other sisters can't say anything to it and can only be jealous as it was something like a privilege of being his personal maid.

His clothes that he wore when he was summoned have become akin to a priceless item and if it was auctioned among his wives and lovers then they would surely bring out all the wealth of each of their own family.

Fortunately, they all decided for it to be kept as it was Rei's and it's his only possession that he have from his home world. And so, it was kept by Rhian's mother who was the personal maid of Rei and was temporarily handed to Rhian to be used for situation like earlier.

「Alright! Let's now go to my home and say hi to mother before we go to Rina-sensei. But make yourselves invisible first before somebody saw you. 」

They all complied and each of them casted a spell on themselves, each forming Mana Circles above them. Then a glow from the circle shined down on them.

Rei nodded his head after seeing that. Although nothing changed before his eyes and he can still see them, he knew that anyone other that him won't be able to see them now.

── After that, they walked for a bit and arrived in front of a bakeshop.

The front of their house have a small bakeshop which being run by his mother and he always help her whenever there's an order that needs to be delivered in their neighborhood.

Seeing that nothing really change to it, made him feel like his experience on another world was just a dream or maybe it's the scene in front of him which was just an illusion.

But with the presence of his daughters at his side, made him realize that everything is real.

Pulling himself together, he directly went to the bakeshop door instead of the small entrance gate next to it and opened the door after motioning his daughters to follow him.

And a woman who can be mistaken in her early 20's, was can be seen arranging the goods on the bread display counter.

Hearing the door chime which implied of someone entering, the woman turned her attention to the door.

「Welcom- Baby Rei-chan? I thought you were already on your way to Rina-san? Did you forget something?」

Instead of answering his mother, Rei went directly to her who was standing behind the display counter and jumped into her embrace.

His mother became confused at his behavior, but decided not to ask him and wait for him to tell it to her when he's ready. She just let him into her embrace and pat his back gently.

「There, there. Mother won't go away, so don't worry.」

She doesn't know what happened to him, but she can see that he's really glad about something while at the same time he seemed to have sadness but was lessening in every seconds as if being washed away.

She felt really confused right now as she's even confident that no one other than her would know the meaning of every breath he takes.

After claming her son, she gently said, 「Then, Baby-chan. Can you tell mother what happened? Don't…... don't tell me someone bullied you while you're on your way to Rina-san!? Kukuku If so, then tell mother who's the one who dared to bully my baby?」, while recalling her katana that she always prepare and sharpen every night.

Rei shook his head within her chest and said, 「No. I, I can't say it to mother right now. Sorry, but it should be a secret for now…...」

『Secret!?』, Hearing that word sent loud thunder in her head. 『Don't tell me it's about a woman!? No! It should be a woman! Kuh! Who dared!? Who dared to corrupt my always honest baby!?』

While she was still patting Rei in her embrace making him feel everything is alright, the mother was grinding her teeth and an ominous aura was coming out of her as her thoughts were running wild.

As for the three sisters, they've just recovered from being stunned when they heard their father's mother calling him 'Baby Rei-chan'.

「It seems that our Grandmother is much greater doter towards Father than our mothers.」

Amara said with a slight smile while her sisters strongly agreed on her.
