6 Years Later

Year 1989 December 1

During these 6 years I grew to 5'7 and allowed my hair to grow onto my shoulders. I was also finally introduced to the rest of the Asgardian citizens. The people took joy in finally meeting their future ruler. When I was eight Jotunheim sent an envoy congratulating us for finally acquiring an heir to the throne. Father said they wish to keep a friendly relation since the last war depleted there numbers. I have visited each god on occasion to keep a friendly relationship among us. My favorite among them being Freya and Loki, Freya because of obvious reasons, who wouldn't have a crush on her especially since she's single. Loki on the other hand because when we first met he always treated me like family. I think he has a soft spot for kids even though he's always denying it. Another major event that took place when I was Nine was the birth of my little half brother Vidar. He was born with the domain of Vengeance upon his birth sired by one of fathers concubines. Vidar is the epitome of destruction, destroying everything he gets his hand on. For a 2 year old brat he has far to much energy. In these 6 years I have trained constantly improving on all aspects. After my workouts I would either spar with father or the Valkyries to keep my skills sharp. I would than go to the back of the castle to work on Manipulating my domains and infusing it into my body. Today for training father called me into the training courtyard to battle a squad of Valkyries to see how much I have improved.

"Remember no powers are to be used, only melee combat is allowed now than READY BEGIN!" said Odin as he watched his son being surrounded by 12 Valkyries.

Each Valkyrie held a blade as they circled the young prince who was wearing his dark blue chain-mail and plate-legs. The prince held Mjolnir in his right hand while the spear gifted to him by his father was being carried on his back. Before the Valkyries could react Thor spun Mjolnir in circles and launched it forward. While the Valkyries attention was focused on Mjolnir, Thor reached for the spear on his back and took a spear stance and launched himself forward behind Mjolnir's path. As the Valkyries in front of Mjolnir made way for the hammer, Thor took advantage and swiped his spear behind one of the Valkyries legs. As she fell Thor flipped over her and struck her heart taking her out of the fight. As Thor landed another Valkyrie swung her blade where his head would have been if he didn't weave under the blow. When her arm passed overhead Thor stepped back while standing and flipped her over him ending the fight with a stomp to the throat. When Thor finished of the Valkyrie he commanded Mjolnir to circle around the battlefield as he took his stance in the middle of the Valkyries, entrapping them altogether. Now that they where ensnared into his trap, Thor commanded Mjolnir to enclose as he thrust his spear at the Valkyries keeping them at bay.

When Mjolnir finally reached The Valkyries it managed to take out 5 of them launching them away from the fight. The other five Quickly stepped forward into Thor's reach. Thor not one to leave an advantage thrust multiple times to each of the Valkyrie's to keep them in Mjolnir's Path. Unfortunately for Thor 2 slipped into his reach. While the others where launched away from the fight. The Valkyries quickly closed the distance and stabbed forward from both sides. Thor being unable to pull back his spear in time held out his left hand and grasped Mjolnir. He quickly released his spear and swung Mjolnir towards the blade knocking it into the others path while he spun himself around the Valkyrie and smashing her with Mjolnir knocking her out of the fight. The remaining Valkyrie didn't let Thor recover from his swing and stepped into his right while swigging downward with her blade. Thor barely reacting in time sidestepped and front kicked her in the abdomen, knocking her out of the fight.

"STOP!, good job Thor you still need a little work, but you're improving non the less." Said Odin as he played with his beard.

"Prince Thor please go easy on us next time" said Eir as she held her Abdomen while laying on the ground.

"YEAH!" said the rest of the Valkyries while groaning in pain.

"Sorry I get too into it when i'm in a fight" said Thor as he held the back of his head with a sheepish expression.

Slow Clap Clap Clap.

"Very well done brother of mine. Soon you will have the rest of Asgard in awe at your might" Said Loki as he walked towards father and I.

"Thanks Brother" said Thor with a smile.

Contrary to popular believe Loki held a soft spot for Thor. He just didn't like any buddy else.

"Loki when did you return from Niflheim" asked Odin with a smile on his face.

"Just now father, I only stopped by to check out what was with all the commotion" said Loki as he looked around the area.

"Brother when are you available for some magic lessons again" Asked Thor as he looked towards his brothers face.

"Not today Thor unfortunately I have other things to attend too" said Loki

"Ah another time than brother, I'm going to go get washed up. I'm completely covered in sweat" Said Thor as he ran out of the courtyard while Loki and Odin were conversing.

As Thor ran into the castle and headed towards the baths he met Brynhildr on his way.

"Prince Thor where are you going" said Brynhildr

"To the baths of course I need to get washed up" said Thor as he stopped before her.

"You know its my job to take care of you and your needs" said Brynhildr as she nodded her head.

"You don't have to Bryn I am no longer a child" said Thor

"nonsense it is my duty" said Brynhildr as she walked toward where the baths are located.

"sigh" said Thor
