3 The Awakening

"You've finally woken up young one." said a loud but soothing voice. I started to open my eyes after hearing this, but as soon as I tried it was really bright like I was in front of a divine presence that made everything around them lighter. After a while, I got use to the light. That was when I saw her. A young looking lady maybe in her early twenties. She had blue eyes and silver hair that went all the way down to her legs. Her skin was fair and looked really delicate like a doll. She was wearing a dress that had a pattern of snowflakes on them. I then asked her who she was. She thought for a second before replying "It doesn't matter who I am." she said with a smile and then started chuckling. I then asked her in an indifferent tone "What is this place is it heaven or something?. She then looked at me and started chuckling again. She then said " You do not need to know as you are not staying here you will be leaving." She then took at a fan out of the air and pulled it open hiding her smile. I was thinking on what I could ask her because she kept telling me the same thing. " Where--". Before I could finish she said" You will be reincarnated and be given gifts that you can pick from. You can also pick your race" "Why are you doing this? What normally happens to people who die?" I asked I became somewhat curios after this. she then answered" I pity you. That's why your given this chance. As for your second question I do not think you need to know". After hearing that same reply I suddenly became frustrated. She keeps on answering giving me the same reply. " You mentioned gifts and races. Is this going to be a fantasy world?" I replied and did not make it obvious that I was curios. She opened her fan once more at put it to hide her face and made sure it covered her mouth before answering "Yes you may chose a gift or a power, but only one. I thought about It carefully then answered "Can I get a system" She couldn't hide her shocked expression even with the fan covering her mouth. She then folded and put it back then answered" Thats a new one. Yes you may, now pick a race. Would you like me to name them." I quickly answered "Yes please" I answered.
