1 Prologue

- Do you believe in punishment for our sins, brother?

- Excuse me, but I do not understand your question very well, sister.

- I'm just asking you a simple question, bro. It is not necessary that you give me your answer at this precise moment, but it would be nice if you answer.

- Then I will fulfill your request.

The area was silent.

In a small space, only two people were left in the dark room. The surroundings were not at all pleasant to look at, around the two people, a large red pool formed a circle surrounding both of them.

Despite the darkness of the surroundings a small old lantern located in the center of both illuminated them.

On one side was a girl who just seemed to be entering puberty. Although her appearance did not give any feeling other than innocence, she there was more than just her appearance.

On the other side was a boy slightly older than his sister. Looking a bit rougher. He just limited himself to looking.

- I don't think there is such a thing as paying for our crimes, sister.

- Oh ~. If it is not too much trouble you would like to delve deeper into your answer.

- Very well ... I do not believe in the such idiocy as "paying for our sins" if you think about it in the world multiple acts happen which can be classified as "evil" but in the end most of these are never punished, in many situations the victims of the events of these "evil" acts, they should only remain silent and watch as these "crimes" happen and they can not do anything.

- But these "victims" could resort to punishment by their own hand, right? Then the punishment would not come to these sinners, brother.

- At first you might think so. The victim will punish her aggressor, but that would make the victim also an aggressor. Punishment by own hand is not allowed in this world, but even with that law created, people will always look for their aggressor at the moment in which an "evil" act is carried out against them. Whether it's a child hitting another just to take a toy away because it was his in the beginning or an adult hitting his child just because he did something wrong. In the end they became aggressors.

- But that would not continue to be a punishment, brother. Despite how it looks the "aggressor" has been "punished", do not you think?

- If you look at it from a simple point of view, you could say yes; But if you look more closely at the whole situation, you will realize that in the end the "punishment" and "aggression" never end. In the end, the "Victim" becomes "aggressor" and vice versa, nothing has changed and instead such action as justice by own hand will only create an infinite circle of punishment and aggression. At the end of the day the punishment is only an aggression disguised by justice and the law.

- That's a unique way of looking at punishment, bro.

- That is my opinion sister, in the end each one of us gives the meaning that he wants to the world ... So did you like my answer?

- It was interesting - The girl spoke. - Seeing the point of view of each person is a hobby which I always follow ... As you said just a few seconds ago, each person has their own vision of what the world is, there will never be two equal visions, but, there may be similar visions. Knowing it is my hobby but it is also a necessary action to get to know people better. Ultimately, knowledge is power.

The girl at all times spoke indifferently, either in the place she was or that she was talking to her brother, she did not showed any change in her voice, a neutral tone which left no margin to know anything about her.

- ...

But because of his time with her, her brother had realized the emotions that were hidden in every word she said.

The poison that it spits with that mouth, a poison which cannot be easily detected and that those who cannot resist it, only have to obey.

- ...

Looking around, the brother saw the large pool of water red that surrounded them, the red color slightly stained their shoes and the smell of the air was slowly changing. Observing in detail a part of the puddle, he saw a hand which was protruding, there was no movement by that extremity, it was only still, slowly sinking.

A large red pool formed by the blood of many human bodies.

"... For a simple girl to take such actions and is simply chatting as if nothing had happened .." - The brother simply turned his attention to his sister without caring about the matter of mass murder -. "To think that something like that would turn out to be my sister, surely the gods have a funny way of annoying me, although I have no reason to complain ..."

Albernt Adler Von Mortem.

A boy known as the "Bloody Heir" of the empire.

He is the one who started the so-called "Dark Cleaning" within the empire.

- Then, brother. You want to continue with the next part of the plan.

Hearing his sister's voice, Albernt snapped out of his thoughts.

- We have already started this, so we only have to continue with the following steps.

Without waiting for any more words from his sister, Albernt grabbed the lantern and stepped out of the circle of blood.

Following in his footsteps, his sister accompanied him as well.

- So this is where it starts, right? Brother.

- Yes.

Without another word, Albernt threw the lantern into the pool of blood.

The silence lasted a while before a great column of fire appeared. What was once a puddle is now a huge crimson red flame. The faint smell of fuel and gunpowder invaded the surroundings.

- It's time we don't go, brother.

- It understood.

Giving a nod to his sister's command, Albernt took one last look at the pile of fire. The hand that was once seen now was nothing more than mere flesh waiting to turn to dust.

- Rest in peace, little brother.

- Giving a few words to our little brother, huh ~. I guess I should have a few words too.

Albernt just looked at his sister as he clasped his hands and closed his eyes. Such strange action which she always did for any funeral. He did not understand some things about his sister, but seeing her do such an action in a way made him nauseous.

- Rest in peace, dear little brother.

After just a few seconds, they both looked at each other. Without any more words, they both left that dark room.

In that day. Hours after the cremation, the news that one of the emperor's sons disappeared was spread by all sides of the empire. A mystery which, even as the years passed, its location was never discovered.

Once again, the empire suffered one of the tragedies in which the culprits never received a punishment.
