Chapter 45: Another threat

As Ruby's group walk Ren spots a fork in the road with a signpost. Nora suggests that she and Ren go up to the mountains, while Ruby, Jaune, and Grievous go the other path.

When Ruby, Jaune and Grievous are in the center of the village. Ruby suggests they search for some medicine only to find nothing. While for Nora and Ren they enter a cave where there are dozens of swords and arrows scattered around, and when they leave the cave they see some trees moving towards the other group.

Meanwhile Yang pulls the tarp from her bike and plans on leaving.

Tai: I don't remember saying you were ready.

Yang: Oh yeah? You're gonna try and stop me?

Tai: No. I think I'm still too sore after our last fight. I just wanted a better goodbye than a letter. And also I have a question for you.

Tai: Where are you going?

Yang: What do you mean?

Kenobi: I sense that you are planning to find someone.

Tai gets a little spooked from Kenobi coming out of nowhere, but continues talking.

Tai: I know how much you wanna see her. I've stopped you in the past. But I won't anymore. And we both read the note. We know your sister headed to Mistral. So where are you going?

As Yang drives away Tai looks at Kenobi as he walks away.

Tai: Where are you going

Kenobi: I am needed somewhere else. The force guides me.

Tai: The what?

Before Tai can ask anymore questions Kenobi is gone.

Back to Ruby's group, Ren and Nora ran by the broken buildings until they found Jaune, Ruby, and Grievous. Soon there seems to be a little rumble that got close Grievous gets his swords out and Grievous is surprised to see this thing. As the Grimm starts making snapping noises in his body, the Grimm then screamed and the bottom half of it ran at Ruby's group.
