The only child born to An Alpha and A Luna was their daughter, Eva. However, the fact that she did not discover her wolf even till she became 19 years old was devastating. Adrian, who was her boyfriend, won her heart, and they were engaged to each other. Unfortunately for her, one fateful day her lover informs her that according to his father's wishes, she must discover her wolf else their relationship is over and he would call off their engagement. Eva's father becomes enraged and turns against Adrian's father when she tells him what Adrian had told her. She always wears a jade of pearl around her neck that traps in her wolf nature, and on that particular night as she was driving, she got involved in a serious accident that caused the fragile jade to break, allowing all the liquid within it to pour out. Her wolf soul then enters her almost immediately, and she undergoes her first transition. During her transition, she learns all the truths about her life from the moon goddess in a lucid dream. She returned home enraged at her parents for what they had done to her wolf. She confronts her father, who honestly apologizes to her but she's so angry at him for the sin he committed, using magic to trap her wolf so he must pay for this. However, Eva has to stop being furious because her father isn't doing well, he has a condition, a predestined sickness, and he's about to die. Because of his uncommon condition, Eva must be named the new alpha. A war started when her father's enemies heard about how weak he had become. Adrian's family avenge for Adrian, and then, her parents are killed. Eva becomes an orphan as a result of this, and she vows exact vengeance on whoever is guilty for her parents' deaths. She is subsequently appointed the new Alpha by the Pack elders a few weeks later. The Pack then arranges for Eva to wed an Alpha, Alpha Desmond but Eva is ready to discover her true love rather than a chosen one. All of the wedding preparations were carried out as planned, but Eva sneaks out into the woods on the night of her nuptials in pursuit of the aura that the moon goddess has shown her.
