4 The meeting

When I woke up I was laying on something soft and comfy. I started panicking because I don't remember how I got here.

I sat up and looked around to see I was in a bed with white sheets. I'm in a bedroom with a theme of black and red.

" Where am I, " I pulled the sheets off of me and stood up. when I stood up my legs were shaking, I thought I was going to fall but I guess my reflexes are faster than my brain. I had grabbed onto the bed side table to help stable myself. Before I could do anything else I heard that door being pushed open.

I looked twords it quickly and saw a girl about my age walking it. She has long black hair and curves in all the right places. She was way prettier then me, I admit that. It really made me self conscious, I knew I wasn't bad looking but I'm not pretty either. I would say I'm average.

I saw her mouth moving and realized that she was speaking to me. " I'm sorry, what? " I blushed as she laughed and repeated her question. " I said would you like to change clothes. "

" Umm yeah, sure, " I pushed away from the desk and took a couple of steps towards her.

" Great, the alpha order some clothes to be put in the closet. " I tilted my head to the side as I thought why the alpha would do that. He doesn't know me, I'm just a rouge who stumbled on is territory.

I looked at the girl and realized I don't even know her name. " Thanks umm? "

" Oh I'm sorry, my name Nancy, Nancy Sanchez. "

" Nice to meet you Nancy, my names is Stella, Stella moon. "

She looked at me with and unreadable expression before shaking her head and smiling. Well you can shower, the clothes are in the closet. Just call me when you're done.

I looked at her and smiled slightly. " OK, will do. " She waved at me then left the room and shut the door. I looked around the room then walked to the bathroom while shutting and locking the door.

I don't want anyone I don't know to come in here while I'm showering. I turned on the water and put it on warm. I looked in the mirror and frowned as I saw the light wasn't in my eyes.

I sometimes wonder if it will will ever come back or will I be like this until I die.

I looked away before I got too depressed and stripped off my clothes. I didn't look in the mirror because I didn't want to see the scars that cover my body.

I wanted to forget about the pack I came from. My next step was to start over, make a new life for myself.

I stepped in the shower and wondered if I have a second chance mate. I doubt it though, only people who deserve a second chance mate get one.

I washed all the dirt off my body while trying to forget about my ex-mate. Instead I thought about the last time I had a decent shower.

I forgot about how good warm water felt on my skin. After I finished washing myself, I turned off the water and stepped out of the shower.

I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around myself then walk to the closet. There were only a little bit of clothes in the closet.

That's fine with me, I've only owned a little bit of clothes. I grabbed something that would look good then looked in the mirror.

This outfit actually looks OK. I wonder where Nancy is going to take me. I hope it isn't to see the alpha.

I walked to the door and opened it then looked out. I saw no one in the hallway and walked out.

" Which way am I supposed to go? " I looked around before picking to go left.

I kept taking twists and turns before sighing, " great, I'm lost. " I looked around before leaning against the wall.

" Guess I'll just wait here, " I stayed there and waited.

I don't know how long I waited before I saw one of the twins walking towards me. I couldn't tell them about yet so I didn't know who it was.

" What are you doing here? " He said

" Well umm I kind of may have gotten lost while looking for Nancy. " I looked down while blushing from embarrassment.

" Oh, she is downstairs, I can take you to her. "

I didn't say anything just nodded and followed him.

" I'm Dane by the way. "

I looked at him before looking back down, " Stella. "

" Well Stella it is nice to meet you. " He looked at me and smiled.

" Yeah, nice to meet you too. "

We walked downstairs and went to the kitchen. There were a couple of people talking in there, but they stopped once I entered.

I looked down while blushing hard. I must look like a bright red tomato. I am not used to all of this attention.

One of the girls looked at me and said " so that's why it smells like rouge in here. "

Dane looked at her and said " be respectful Christa, she is a guest here. "

" OK fine, I will be more respectful, " said Christa.

Nancy walked over to me. " There you are I was looking for you. "

I looked at her and whispered " sorry, I sorta got lost. "

" It is fine, now come I have some people I need to introduce. " She pulled me over to the table where Christa and, I'm guessing, her friends are.

" Everyone, this is Stella, Stella that is Christa, Sady, and John. " They all say their greetings.

" Nice to meet you guys. "

Nancy leaned over and whispered in my ear, " Christa and John are mates so don't try anything with him. "

I nodded and looked at her, " wouldn't dream of it " I know what it feels like first hand to lose you're mate.

It does not feel great. Its like 1,000 needles poking you in you're skin.

I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone else, even if I dislike that person.

Nancy looked at me and smiled " now that you have meet everyone down here, it is time for you to meet the alpha. "

When I heard her say the word alpha my eyes widened and I froze on the spot.
