What To Do?

It was dawn with Lilith woke up, she didn't expect herself to fall asleep. In fact, she expected her to be awake till dawn but instead, it was the opposite. She lifted her head to find herself languishing on someone's lap, and it would be none other than Summer. What? Did you expect Luna?

Lilith sighed as she rubbed her eyes roughly, she felt a hand brushing her hair. She turned around to see Summer stretching roughly, her chest lifted heavily as her body slowly become smaller.

"Good morning Lilith," Summer greeted, she knew that Lilith had a lot of question about her secret that she told her, at least that what she thought.

"Why was my head on your lap Summer?" were the words that Lilith spoke. Summer could understand why there was no greeting but not a single question about her secret.

"Uhhhh...I..." Summer started to stammer as she didn't know how to answer Lilith's...odd question. She started to turn red as she started to hide her face.

Lilith sighed but she giggled to herself inwardly, she placed a gentle hand on her head as she gently rubbed her head. She didn't know why she decided to pet her head, she just has an instinct on petting her head.

"I...I uh...thought it would be nice, ya know?" Summer finally spoke after being asked very straightforward. She couldn't help but get embarrassed because of this.

"Thank you," spoke Lilith before she jumped off the stone wall and headed deep into the somewhat rebuilt building that has been done overnight.

"We have to ask her for her background!" screamed an old man slamming his fist down on the rounded table.

"Quiet old man, we can just straightforwardly ask her, hey where are you from and what's your background," a young female voice mocked the old man suggestion.

"You two are pathetic when it comes to an agreement but great in the battlefield," a young man's voice echoed, he sounded very annoyed and stressed. "Who are we talking about?"

"The young lady that saved your asses," the young woman abruptly.

Hector sighed as he took his seat in the rounded table, he wrapped his hands between and rested his chin on it. He couldn't stand having strangers saving his people and expect him to pay said stranger.

"What are we planning to do?" Hector asked.

"I think we should just ask her what her status is," the old man addressed first. He could hear the young lady's irritation, he couldn't understand why she had to attend this meeting.

"No, I think we should ask her brother. Drew was it?" the young lady inquired.

"Why her bro..."

"Alright, let's have both of your plans go at the same time," Hector interrupted the old man, he got up as he headed out for the stairs. He couldn't let anything happen to his people, he had too much to lose.

Lilith was carrying a large pile of wood when she was approached by a guard, it was the same uniform that she saw when she was in Barckenholme. Steel plating and chainmail underneath it, the color was different and the symbol was too as she expected. It was dark brown with a boar face that it under teeth looked like upside-down fangs.

"Lord Hector wishes to see you," spoke the Boar Guard.

"Lord Hector? Oh, he must mean the guy thought I burnt his home town," Lilith deemed.

"Hey, girl! I need that strength of your right now!" demanded a young man's voice. Lilith sighed as she ran over to the young man, she left the guard standing in his place like he wasn't even there.

Lilith didn't have time to deal with the lord of this town, she had to help this town even though she might get blamed for what happened. What is she thinking? There will at least someone that will protect her, right?
