New laws? Break Them

Lord Yasin has taken Lilith into the center Great Oak tree, she was presented with an armory of blades and bows. So were for beginners, others were for advance guards, Lord Yasin reached for the silver blade that was in her right hand. She moved her hand away from his grasps.

"Lilith, give me the blade," demanded Lord Yasin.

"No, sir," Lilith's voice was still stern. "I want to change something, especially to the Wolfshead."

Lord Yasin looked into Lilith's eyes with shock, he didn't expect that the daughter of the old king would break a werelord law that has existed for centuries, then again, the new king has also broken the law. Lord Yasin sighed and moved deeper into the armory, Lilith followed and they were met with a tall, dark skin man. He had a black beard and was bald, he was topless but it seemed no to bother Lilith.

"M-My lord!" spoke the man, he kneeled down and lowered his head.

"Rise, Kaz, I have an order for you," said Lord Yasin, he motioned his hand towards Lilith. Kaz rose and looked at the silver blade and the small kunai knife in her other hand.

"Why does she have silver in her possession?" Ka asked.

"I'll tell you over a drink," said Yasin. They both laughed and Kaz place a hand on Yasin's shoulder and whispered something, the Lord's mood went down. Whatever Kaz had told in the Lord's ears must have changed the subject.

"So tell my young miss," Kaz's voice boomed. "What do you need me to do?"

Lilith unsheaths her Wolfshead blade and handed it towards Kaz.

"You think can change the blade of this sword, and with this," Lilith handed the silver blade. "I want you to use the blade of this and put it into the Wolfshead blade then create another blade and if there is any other spare silver. Create a couple of kunai knives for me."

Kaz took the Wolfshead blade and examined it, he placed it down on the table behind him then took that silver blade, he almost dropped the blade.

"This is an extremely long sword, the balance is almost impossible to even use it as a proper sword," examined Kaz. "Yeah, I can get this order done in a few days but if you don't mind me asking, why do you need kunai knives?"

Lilith hesitated then simply said, "Just in case."

She walked out of the armory and Lord Yasin waved Kaz goodbye, he caught up to Lilith before he saw the Lion Guard in front of Lilith. The Guard didn't seem hostile but anything could happen. Lilith walked passed the Guard but she stood by his side.

"Is there a problem, Drew?"

The Guard tensed up and he looked at Lilith, she moved away and headed towards the gate. Lord Yasin walked passed the Lion Guard but he was stopped by the Guard. The Guard whispered something in the Lord's ear and he was taken by surprise, the Guard walked away and he left the werelord standing in the middle of the market.

Lilith approached the gate of Brackenholme, she asked one of the guards if they could teach her a few tips of swordplay and throwing knives. The guard nodded and pointed towards the training grounds for Lilith, she thanked the guard and started making her walk towards the grounds.

When she entered the training grounds, a lot of the guards looked at Lilith with confused looks. "Have they not seen a girl in military gear?" the voice questioned. Lilith ignored the voice's comment and picked up on of the steel swords. One of the guards walked up towards her and said, "Ma'am, you shouldn't be here. You can get hurt, where are your parents?"

"Don't have any," Lilith replied, she moved away from the guard and started to swing the blade to get a feel of how heavy it felt. The guard didn't notice that tear in Lilith's left shoulder, he warned that she should get it to check but she ignored him. Lilith felt a hand on her left shoulder, pain shot throughout her body but she ignored it, the pain was common to her. She looked over her shoulder and saw the old scout and the same young scout next to him.

"Excuse me but are you the same girl from the forest?" spoke the old scout. Lilith nodded. "You do know that you're in the soldiers training grounds, it isn't often that a civilian would enter the soldiers' grounds."

"I'm not a civilian, the moment my blades are done. I'm leaving," said Lilith with a bit of harshness in her voice. She did seem hard but this wasn't her place. "Don't leave those whom you once protected," spoke a different voice.

"Will you just shut up for the old king's dead body!" Lilith roared with rage, the old scout back away but the young scout stood where they were. Lilith fell to the ground, holding her head. She could feel herself breaking, she could feel the beast slowly breaking her. She felt a hand on her face, she looked up and could see the young scout in her face.

"You're fighting a war that is impossible to win inside of you," spoke the young scout's voice, it was gentle, soothing to Lilith's ears. It reminded her of her mother.

"The beast in me...took my left eye and most of my left side," whispered Lilith. "I'm not trying to fight the beast but it also trying to take over me."

"When was the first time that you changed?" asked the young apprentice. Lilith hesitated, she didn't know when she first changed. She felt her left eye twitch before she lost vision, with her right eye she saw the young scout shocked.

"What?" growled Lilith, she noticed that her voice changed and then she lost consciousness of her surroundings and senses.

"I am very sorry for this rude entrance," growled Lilith or what was controlling Lilith. Both of the scouts could see that the left eye changed into silver. "Please call me Alpha, I'm the beast the rest in the young princess."

Alpha knelt down to the young apprentice. The young scout felt a hand on their shoulder, they and saw the Lord, they quickly knelt down and welcomed the Lord. Lord Yasin looked at Alpha and knelt down to its level.

"So you're her animal, Alpha," spoke the old Lord. "It's been a long time hasn't it."

"Yes it has, old friend," said Alpha standing up, it picked up the steel sword and handed it towards the werelord. "Let's have a duel, for old time."

The old Lord chuckled and smiled, "You're not in control for long."

"I know," said Alpha, the left eye changed back to its amber and a small smirk formed on the face. Lilith regained control.

"Alpha the werewolf," whispered Lilith. "Care to explain, Bear Lord."
