If He Could, Then She Can

Lilith arrived back at the small camp that the survivors of Hugo made, she was in the back as she didn't want to attract any attention that she already had. She felt ashamed of what happened to herself, she didn't want to kill the LIon Guards but interrogate them to death. "That solution is even worse, I think," she thinks to herself, she sighed heavily and stopped in her track. She slowed her breathing so her presence would disappear, she moved away from the group of staggering injured people.

She went to the open plains that she was once at and she could see a heavenly figure floating above the moonlight grass, its back facing her. She could see white robes draping down the figure's body, silver hair gently shining in the moonlight. She froze in her place but she didn't draw her blades, something about this figure didn't fit in Lilith's mind. She slowly trenched forward but she didn't dare to speak.

"Is there something you need my child?" spoke the figure. Lilith froze completely, she didn't know what to say, she felt herself slowly becoming shy and she was having trouble simply getting a word out.

"What are you doing here, Luna?" Lilith spoke a deep, growling voice. Lilith felt a dark presence behind her but it didn't feel hostile, more like a calm being. She looked behind her and saw a dark cloud figure standing at least six five, she could only see glowing crimson eyes.

"Hehe, well if it isn't 404," spoke Luna, the heavenly figure turned around to exposed her features to the two. Her pale white skin with her lush golden eyes, her pure silver hair flowed through the night wind. Her smooth and still lips curved into a smile, her body had the right curves at the right places, making her figure beautiful.

"What brings the young wolf out?" Luna asked.

"The moon, Luna," spoke 404. Luna let out a chuckle as she seemed amused by 404's words. Lilith, on the other hand, was perplexed. She didn't know what was going on. "404? Luna? Why do these names sound familiar?" she thought to herself. She started to think but the more she tried, the more she had a headache. She couldn't think clearly anymore, she had to sit down and absorb what was going on.

"Seems like she's having a tough time," spoke Luna, her golden eyes wondered onto Lilith's. The dark clouded figure knelt down, at that moment, Lilith could have sworn she felt a hand on her.

"She will understand if only Alpha had already," spoke 404, its voice seemed annoyed and threating but calm. "So, do you want to tell her?"

"Hehe and what? Get angered by the only gray wolf that is reincarnated by the wolf king?" Luna spoke almost giggling, however, Luna knew what she was saying. Lilith suddenly felt her mind rushing to conclusions and theories that if her father was the wolf king and died when the new king rose to power then that would...

Lilith had to sit down with her thoughts running around in her mind, she couldn't comprehend the madness that she was consuming. Her breathing started to become heavier and she felt herself sweat, she felt a cold and rough hand on the back of her head and her entire mind went blank.

"Please don't stress yourself, Lilith," 404 empathized her name and removed its hand, it looked at Luna and spoke, "Don't say things that may confuse her, she may not catch up."

"There's a problem with that 404," spoke Luna with a serious face, her brows lowered like she was angry. "We don't have much time and she will have to learn one way or not, she doesn't have the time that her father had."

404 sighed with irritation: "She can throw a kunai farther than you."

"Prove it," Luna didn't believe 404's words, she created two kunai in her palms. She gently tossed on at Lilith's feet. Luna walked over towards Lilith and knelt down, she was face to face with Lilith's blue and amber eyes.

"Let's make a bet," spoke Luna, she spoke soft and gentle. Lilith didn't say anything, instead of she flicked her wrists down to show two silver kunai.

"Silver?" Luna spoke, she picked up the kunai she tossed at Lilith's feet. "How far?"

"I say twenty clicks?" 404 suggested.

"Make it fifty," Lilith inquire.

"Fifty, that a little far don't you think?" Luna spoke, she only said this because only one other person was able to throw an object farther than fifty clicks. She doubted Lilith but she thought about Wylan.

"If he could, then she can," Luna thought to herself.
