404 Demon

The book that was inside of Lilith's body was actually a book of demons, mainly a demon called 404. Its name came from two figures that controlled a world, both of them had made their share of errors in their creation and they both decided, as brothers, to create a demon that would always make an error but somehow correct itself. However, the demon became corrupted by its users. It was not meant to take the form of any being and cause mass destruction, but they assumed they made the biggest error of them all.

"We must take it down, it has caused my people a great deal of harm," boomed a voice that sounded very heavenly, a tall and young figure stood over an altar. He wore white robes with small strips of gold lacing downwards. His young eyes and glistening teeth were cold but nothing compared to his heart.

"It's not that easy, it has basically made itself into the perfect demon," said a voice that was deep as the core of his heart, he didn't have many regrets but this was a massive regret he had made. He wore a mark that only covered his crotch, he had two jagged horns and a dragon tail. The heavenly figure had to agree on their creation, just when the heavenly was hovering his way back to his throne, the presence of alert disappeared. The demonic figure was even surprised by this too, he rushed over to the altar of the overworld and saw the demon that they had created, being defeated by a human. The demonic figure grinned and disappeared leaving illusions of bats in his place.

The heavenly figure chuckled: "He is always ready for anything, I better help him."

Cadye couldn't believe his eyes, he was crawling away from a Lion Guard that was just about to take his life then all he could see was blood splattering. A hand was completely through the Lion Guard's chest, it was completely covered in blood and holding something pulse like a heart in its palm. The hand started to move back as it still kept the pulsing organ, the guard fell to the ground in his own pool of blood.

"Cayde, what happened?" spoke a young male voice. Cayde felt a hand on his shoulder as it lifted him up, he could look in the young man's eyes and noticed it was Drew.

"What are you doing here lad?" Cayde asked Drew, he didn't expect him to come on the operation.

"Doesn't matter about me," Drew said. "What the hell happened here?"

Cayde didn't know what to say, he didn't know what happened to him. He looked back and saw Lilith but he sensed something off. Drew stood next to Cayde and saw his sister and he felt something surging throughout his veins, he charged out without a second thought in his mind.

The demon in Lilith was brutal, it ripped the Lion Guard's heart out. It didn't have any emotions toward killing the guard. It shot its devilish eyes up as it saw Drew charging directly at it with no intention of stopping, he tackled the demon and pinned it to the ground.

"Where is Lilith?!" Drew shouted. The demon struggled to break free, it crimsons eyes burned brighter and Drew felt its body heat increasing.

"Don't worry about her, she is still alive," the demon spoke with a cold expression. Drew let his guard down and the demon took advantage as it kicked Drew off and drew out one of the broadswords, the demon blocked a heavy strike that would have knocked most humans to the ground.

"Drew Redmire, take care of the injured and take them out of here," the demon demanded. "we'll take care of the guards."

"We?!" Drew shouted but the demon disappeared along with the guards.

The demon surged with rage and energy, it was happy that it was finally released after it's imprisonment. It easily sliced through the guard's neck, it slowly advanced to the other three guards with a sword in its hands, it felt like it was unstoppable.

"But you're not," spoke Alpha.

"I know Alpha," spoke the demon, it used it rage to transform the broadsword in its hand to multiple broadswords that floated behind the demon. With a single snap of its fingers, the swords sliced through the air and impaled each guard in their chests. The demon had a wicked smile but it soon changed when it felt itself fading away from its control.

Sooner or later, Lilith gain controlled and all she saw darkness, the darkness that had surrounded her in her own mind. She felt the presence of the moon that shined down on her, she looked up and looked at the bright blue moon. She didn't like its presence, she felt ashamed of what she did and she felt the sins slowly crawling on her back.

"Tch, I guess I really am like my father," Lilith whispered to herself, she noticed that she could see her breathe. It was a cold night and she was all alone, she sighed and started to move toward her broadsword.

"The cold can kill you, get your stuff and let's go," Lilith heard a voice, she turned around and saw Drew standing in the moonlight. For once, she actually smiled at her brother, it wasn't the best but she showed her affection to her brother.
