Kirk was shocked at what he heard from the system. "I was not expecting so much stuff to come from this little orb." He looked back down at the orb and had noticed that it had started to disintegrate and after a couple more seconds it had completely turned to dust.

"I guess the inheritance is a one-time thing," Kirk said to himself.

"This inheritance seems to be really good, I even got a quest and a title! I better check this stuff out."

*Winged Tailed Whales Inheritor (Beginner)

A Title is given to the inheritor of the Winged Tailed Whales inheritance. When given this title the user will have 20% extra stats for defense and speed. Users will also be given the quest <Missing Inheritance>. The user will be given a new skill according to the inheritance of the Winged Tailed Whale every 10 levels.

Absorb the essence of beasts and herbs. The quest is complete when the bar is at 100%

"That is a lot of information to digest. So the title was the reason why my stats had gone up. But goodness, 20% boost on defense and speed is godly. I guess that means I am gonna have to get my defense up so I can start reaping the rewards of that 20%. It is also good that I will be given a new skill every 10 levels. If it is as good as the first skill then this inheritance would just be too good. Even the quest has piqued my interest. Absorbing essence? What does that mean exactly?"

"Taki, do you know anything about absorbing essence from beasts and herbs?"

*Yes I have any information on absorbing essence. According to my information when a beast is killed or a herb has been picked they will be in a vulnerable state. When that happens you can absorb the essence/energy. This process is usually a hard thing to grasp for a normal creature. Only after a year of constant practice will creatures be able to extract and absorb essence into their body. But with me here I will be able to help guide you through the absorption process.

"Hmmm. So that would mean it would take a lot of killing and luck to be able to absorb essence from creatures and herbs. Well, that is a good thing to know. I should be able to finish that quest after awhile."

While Kirk was thinking of all of the new benefits he had just received he suddenly heard a big rumbling sound.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Kirk jerked his head and discovered the wall in front of him was slowly opening. Inside the wall was a hall with a massive room. After Kirk readied himself he swam into the room. when he got into the room he was astonished. It was a big room with glass walls that show an endless blue sea on the other side. At the back of the room was a giant golden throne. On the pathway leading up to the throne, there were 4 azure-colored pillars. 2 pillars were on each side of the walkway. On each pillar, there were little holes that contained different things.

On the golden throne was a stone figure. The figure was of a robust man. He had the stature of a king. Just looking at the stone statue gave Kirk an oppressive feeling. The man held a giant trident that seemed to be at least four meters tall. Although the statue was right in front of Kirk he could not make up the man's facial features. It was like a gray fog had enveloped the man's face making one not able to see the man's facial features.

Above the throne were 3 simple words. Whale Loft Palace. When Kirk had read those words It felt like he was being thrown into a tornado. Even though he was underwater it still affected him greatly. The wind laws in the 3 simple words were just too profound. Kirk had guessed that the person on the throne had written them with his trident which had wind laws imbued into them.

Kirk thought to himself "It seems like there is a lot more to this world than I imagined."

After Kirk had finally stabilized both his body and mind he thought, "What amazing strength. That person's strength is unfathomable to the current me."

Kirk secretly vowed to become strong. Strong enough to move through the world unimpeded like the monarch that stood in front of him.

A short couple of minutes later he decided to go to the first pillar to see what was inside. When he got beside the pillar he saw what looked to be a wooden box. After thinking about it for a second he decided to open it. When he opened it up he felt a light breeze hit his face. In the box was a jade lotus flower. It had already bloomed and the lotus seeds were hovering the flower like little bees. In Kirk's past life he had never really been into plants or planting and so seeing such a pretty and delicate flower inside the box made him dazed for a second.

When he came back to his senses he discovered that the lotus seeds that were revolving around the flower were not jade like the flower but a dark blue. They also had a slight glow to them like they were fireflies that illuminated the dark. At first, he had no idea what to do with this. He was stumped on what to do and decided to inspect it first before making up a decision.

This lotus was grown at the depths of the South Ocean. It is known to have a jade exterior while the seeds are dark blue.*

The South Ocean? I remember the system saying I was in the Yugo Sea. I wonder how far the South Ocean is from here. After Kirk saw the info he went to grab it he heard a ding in his head. He looked and was a little shocked when he saw it. It was an indicator asking if he wanted to absorb the essence of it.

Kirk thought about it for a minute and hit yes but what had shown up disappointing him.

"Hmmm, I wonder how rare this herb actually is for me to actually be too weak to absorb it." While Kirk was thinking he had started swimming to the next pillar. When he got to the next pillar he saw a small green bag sitting on the pillar.
