Leveled up
"Why do I feel warm all around me? What the heck am I underwater!?" When Kirk opened his eyes he saw was underwater surrounded by other creatures.
"I wonder what creature I am. I should be able to find out if I go to the surface." While Kirk was trying to go up to the surface he spotted something huge in the corner of his eye. When he turned to look he noticed it was a gigantic turtle.
"Oh dang that's one giant turtle! From my knowledge, they shouldn't try to eat me but I should try to stay away from everything for now." When he finally got to the surface of the lake you noticed a waterfall nearby. He decided to go there to check out his new appearance. When he finally got over there he was finally able to understand what his new form was.
"Why out of all things in his world did I become a freaking tadpole! I don't even know what to eat!" While Kirk was screaming to himself he remembered seeing other tadpoles being hatched with him, so he decided to return.
"Hopefully I can figure out what I'll be able to eat before I starve to death" While he was going back he was mesmerized by all the aquatic creatures. There were tons of different colored fish and there were also tons of little critters on the ground.
"Really makes you think how big and beautiful this new world is." When he got back to the eggs he saw hundreds of eggs that were cracked, cracking, or soon to be cracked. He was surprised but soon came to remember that frogs tended to lay 2,000 - 3,000 eggs. He started observing what the little tadpoles were doing and noticed that they were eating the little algae off the rocks.
"Hmmm. I am getting a little hungry. Maybe I should try to eat algae too." After saying that he started swimming over and got to an algae spot that didn't have other tadpoles. He was a little reluctant at first but after seeing the tadpoles eating it merrily he decided to try it. When he ate a little bit he heard a bell sound in his head.

"Oh wow, so I am a tadpole. Looking at those skills they must be the cheats I got from the goddess randomly. My stats are really low though so I'll just keep on trying to get some more exp." Kirk kept on eating algae and after 3 minutes he had finally leveled up.

"Seems like my stats can go up with stat points but I wonder how I level up my skills and what is up with that Mystery Gift. I wonder if I can ask the system. System, how can I level up my skills?"
*The more you use the skill the faster it levels up. When a skill levels up it can deal more damage and be more effective*
"Ok, I get that. So if I can use bite on other creatures a lot then It should level up. Alright then, so now that I know that, I'll ask another question system. Hmm… wait a minute, it's gonna be quite the hassle calling you 'system' all the time so how about I name you Taki.'"

"Alright, then Taki, what is up with that Mystery Gift in my stats and why can't I open it?"
*The Mystery Gift was given by goddess Faye to you as a gift to help you out in the future. You may open it when you reach a certain level and when opened it will give you a random item made directly by goddess Faye.*
"Alright, so when I open up the gift it will give me a random item made by the goddess! That's gonna be great for the future and hopefully, it can help me survive better. I guess I should keep on eating Algae before it all runs out" Kirk kept on eating for another 10 mins and managed to level up to level 3.
"I would love to keep on eating these algae but if I eat any more I'll throw up. There should be other ways to level up but I just don't know them yet. Hmm, I guess I'll just ask Taki again and see if she knows. Hey Taki, are there other ways to level up?"
*Yes, the other ways to earn exp are simple. If you kill a monster then you can obtain exp according to level. Of course, there is also the other option which you found out yourself. Which is that eating different plants can lead to gaining exp but in the long run it isn't very viable to depend on.*
"Oh, maybe I should try killing one of the creatures around me so I can earn exp faster." Kirk started swimming around and noticed that there were multiple small creatures he could kill and turn into exp. After a couple of minutes of swimming, he saw a couple of worms squirming at the bottom.
He then swam down and went to prepare some attacks. When he was right before the worms he had used bite to bite a chunk of their skin off. They were the same size so it took a while for Kirk to finish it off but thankfully the worm had no ways to fight back so he ended up being killed off by it.

"Dang that gave me so much exp for that one measly worm. I guess I will keep on doing this till I level up!"
