1 New Encounters ,and Old People

Rokuro walked towards the college-size academy with his book bag in hand, his body, and could be compared to the average 12-year-old in terms of muscle formation. His grass-like eyes, and midnight blue hair, that glimmered slightly throughout the sunlight. This small boy had a glare that showed his superiority like no other, his eyes almost shining with green. His uniform consisted of a green shirt and a black tuxedo, and black ironed pants, both of which seemed like something over the top and unnecessary since it was his first day in high school but he presumed that it would be best to make a good impression on the teachers.

He walked up towards the school, it took him a while to reach the school as it is located in a very remote location near Mount Fuji. The school was as loud as sirens, Rokuro realized very early on why the school was moved to such a remote location, thousands of teens had made it to this school which gave him a sudden surprise but, thought to himself cockily" That might be a good thing, considering I can get more competition, and maybe it will be difficult this time.

He continued to climb the extravagantly long path. It was littered with trees, beautiful plants, and even small water spots to the sides. "This place is very nice," He thought to himself as he looked around.

Eventually, he had finally reached the peak of the path as he scanned the extremely large, but beautiful school. After scanning it he eventually came to notice his old friend, Raijin.

"Do I have to deal with him for another 3 years?" Rokuro said to himself quietly as he walked towards the doors of the school.

Raijin noticed Rokuro looking at himself, then immediately turned back around; but it was too late."I know he's very smart and qualified, but please don't tell me he is in the course with me," Raijin mumbled to himself as he walked towards the immersive, and welcoming brown doors of Ryoko Academy.

Raijin was the complete opposite to Rokuro, he had the ultimate thaumaturgy combat abilities and was unrivaled by all of the students of Ryouko Academy. He is thought to be the most promising Kamigori Exorcist at the Academy though he has above-average intelligence. His body appeared scarred, his muscles seemed to be overly developed, and his arms were tone with a tanned tint to them; and red eyes, and black hair in a ponytail with curly hair.

Rokuro silently, but enthusiastically continued to search through the rest of the future candidates of classmates he was going to have while continuing to observe the school's design.

The school had a circular design at the bottom with a rectangular design above and it had an old-fashioned Japanese architecture, almost as if it was a large shrine. held a vibrant amount of color such as an ocean shade of blue which could mesmerize others, inside of its beautiful white, a basic white which covered most of the shingles; and shutters, with brown color for the roofs, though it shimmered throughout the sunlight that shone upon it; It also stayed across at the peak of the school, which almost touched the heavens. He had seen pictures of the school but did not expect it to be this large, nor beautiful compared to what he had in his head.

Rokuro silently, but enthusiastically turned towards the future candidates of classmates he was going to have and spotted Raijin, then immediately turned back around; but it was too late."I know he's very smart and qualified, but please don't tell me he is in the course with me," Raijin mumbled to himself as he walked towards the immersive, and welcoming doors of Ryoko Academy.

``Do I have to deal with him for another 3 years?" Rokuro said to himself quietly as he walked through the doors and looked at the vast amount of room in the lobby part of the school, his current objective was to find the office.

"I wonder where the office is, I have to get my schedule," Rokuro said as he looked towards Raijin while the other two friends followed along, as they split off.

"I don't know." Raijin responded while pulling out his phone to check.

Rokuro responded along with Raijin. "I did not get the memo about how they were even going to get the message to us I will check too," Rokuro said as he pulled out an O.C--Occult Communicator, which used an occult mirror system. Whilst going through the O.C he saw he had missed a notification.

" What classes does everyone have, I got the Occult-Science intelligence course," Yoosun said with her feminine, but confident voice, both of these aspects of her, complimenting her ladylike features.

"They gave me the Occult Science Course too, they even said if I want I could take either one instead of both." Rokuro said as Raijin waited to continue, though Rika took his turn to go.

"I'm going to take Occult Science too! My dad has always never been able to decide which one he liked so I think I'll follow in his footsteps." Rika said with fiery confidence and passion shown by no other, she seemingly was the light of her family compared to Rikan, her little brother, who failed his 3rd-grade Occult combat course, and decided to go into General Occult instead.

"I'm taking Occult, I just wish I could go into Occult Combat like Raizan." Regularly people would call Raijin by his regular name, but Raijin and Rika are a special case, as they both have known each other since their childhood, fun fact, they were born in the same hospital, and Rikan and Rika are twins both fraternal and identical it's just that Rikan has an overall better build than Rika in terms of strength. It's just that they don't talk about it as much as you would expect

.

"I'm going into Occult Combat with Raijin, hopefully, he won't be pompous as last year." Kazono said to the group as he used an occult form of echolocations known as oversight to find the office and started to lead the group on.

"I'm glad one of us has an affinity for sniper magic," Raijin said as they continued walking towards the office, they realized how much of a labyrinth the school was, and the amount of difficulty showed that it took to get there.

"What types of magic?" A random student asked while holding a pencil and notebook along with a scribe which is a book used to write spells into existence or, hold spells with a title which means a shortening of a spell.

``Great question, There are three types of occult combat magic, first starting with offensive, in which ability has no potential in defense at its base form or intended use, such as yang explosion also known as a Yin Void," The teacher Leos expelled a dark hole of black nothingness in which when brought close to the ground had exploded after bringing the nearest objects towards it. " You can also make a spell more powerful depending on the longer you make its chant and the more you envision the spell's effect through your magical output is a measure of how much stronger you can make a spell, this leaves you vulnerable until you can fully say the spell or until you fully envision its power," Leos said while his golden hair and tone golden-brown eyes expressed confidence throughout his look, he was officially known as the best occult combat teacher in the school.

"Next, there is passive occult magic, which stands for any magic that has a background effect such as a strength spell or a healing spell, this type of magic is generally a little too impossible to be avoided, but in return for perfect accuracy, they don't do much damage, unless a catalyst is used along with it which is one of the many reasons we have drivers and kamigori. I will get into those two and other subjects after I explain defensive magic," The teacher said pausing for his breath, wheezing for air, and letting the students write down their notes or use some other means to keep notes.

"Defensive magic is any type of magic, whose purpose is to defend from offensive, and passive magic, most defensive magic also has a passive magic boost. There is also one more form of magic, though it is more of a combination. It is hybrid magic it may seem obvious but sometimes it is hard to clarify the exact meaning of a hybrid spell, but in general, a hybrid spell can be defined by a spell that has two types of effects or an effect that can't be contained in when one of the other three." Leos said while giving different examples of the magic explained.

His voice boomed and deterred most people from even whispering to each other while giving confidence in his spells he showed different spells that not even the highest occult combat student, who is generally higher than most of the teachers could learn the magic that Leos used in the hybrid example. One of the reasons was because his magic was yin and yang based, and though he could use different magic his affinity was towards yin and yang magic."I think I will explain more about magic later, I think we will end the class with a duel?"

Nakado Yoshiro decided to raise his hands and volunteer."I would like to see who thinks they can beat me!" Yoshiro said cockily while summoning a spellsword a sword that includes a catalyst for different elements, or a specific spell, that most students didn't even know how to use, let alone the culture it originated from. H

"I want to see you try," Raijin said in the background while holding his scribe, which was a special type that most didn't have as they didn't know enough about scribes to have weapons that can be used as scribes, especially two of them. Yoshiro had one book scribe and a spellsword, a sword that emits spell effects. Raijin had two twin blades handed down from his ancestors known as The Twin Izanami Blades, they also have scribes contained in the handle and can be written in by through and read by summoning.

"Ok, amatuer we'll see about how good you are at combat in a minute," Yoshiro said as he gave Raijin the stink eye and continued to arrogantly show off his magical abilities."Ok, we will clear the field for you two, get into your combat gear, and prepare your kamigori, drivers, and scribes" Leos said as the pair that were dueling both went into the locker rooms with their drivers and weapon-scribes.

Raijin summoned his Kamigori using a separate miniscribe known as a Yūrei shōkan-shi which was the entities true name and started to speak to it, its name being Rivana the Lightning Reaper, he looked pale but strength and almost a spitting image of Raijin except older, and with black hair and blue tips, lightning reapers are also one of the strongest types of kamigori in their element."Just follow my lead and warn me if I use too much magic if I do you can take over and get into close range." Rivana was mute so he simply nodded his head signifying that he knew the plan. The young and arrogant Yoshiro copied Raijin, as he talked to his Kamigori and getting prepared for the duel.

"Three two one," Leos said as he sparked off a small flame using magic and jumped out of the arena and set up a barrier around the field. The two maneuvered around the field in a swirling motion, before starting to send barrages of attacks. Raijin first sent a barrage of attacks starting with sending a flash of lightning striking down with insane speeds creating a boom so loud it generated air around it zooming to the ground uprising the dirt and sand mixture and causing a wave of dirt to be created though it was only for a second, causing a blindside to come into creation the immediately sending a barrage of sword strikes at speeds that not even the students could see towards Yoshiro.

Raijin would then start to rush from above using his two swords as scribes to increase his reaction time, and to attack Yoshiro from close range so that to increase his movement we fast pace through the one who is doing all this is Rivana though when they were together they would be much more strategically, all of this happened after Raijin started sending lightning strikes that hit Yoshiro though some were defective and made Yoshiro visibly show injury, in his leg and left arm.

"Not bad, but you'll need to do a lot better than that" Yoshiro said as Yoshiro dodged past the few lightning strikes using explosion strikes to boost himself away, and sent himself into the sky, he then imploded the nearby ground and started to run.

Before Yoshiro knew it Raijin had already come in for close combat, leaving a slice in the back of Yoshiro, but in a crucial amount of time before, Raijin could go in for more than 2 strikes Yoshiro had already started to defend from the 2 strikes of his sword places at specifically both sides of his shoulder and slashed at Raijin though he dodged out the way and continued sending lightning strikes.

Raijin decided to push himself mentally providing more focus and slowly increasing his magic input immediately after used summoning Magic's to manifest a protective aura around his body that could be seen similarly to a futuristic knight, which had two swords and around 7 feet tall, it was around a 1'2 inch boost for Raijin, but there were more effects boosted than meets the eye.

Yoshiro decided to use a fire explosion barrage against the futuristic knight that was known as the legendary Ribana no Hogo. (Rivana's Protection) Yoshiro's explosion magic did not affect this legendary hybrid magic in little to no way at all other than delaying its speed. This 7-foot knight had to sacrifice its speed for strength as it was shown when it sent down both swords at the same time and stomped towards Yoshiro in which Leos immediately brought him out.

"I'm ending this match." Leos said as Raijin shrunk slowly, and the magic dissipated, Raijin had no problem with that, but Yoshiro was angry.

"What the hell I thought the policy was, we finish until another is down! I don't care how good this kid is, I can take him!" Yoshiro said angrily while gritting his teeth midway, and clutching his fist, his eyes showing an obvious amount of anger.

"That's in a case where a student isn't at risk of being comatose, or at risk of death. You stood no chance but I had to give an example before the class ended, so stop complaining and go to your next class." Leos said while wondering how Raijin had a history of arrogance, compared to his current behavior, and wondered if he had turned a new leaf.

"Yes sir," The class said, while Yoshiro gave Raijin a stink eye and a smug look. "That used to be me.." Raijin thought as he walked towards the gym locker to change, distracting himself from reflecting on his past. After changing into his normal school uniform he exited the locker rooms.

"Students I will give you your assignments later but first I will give you a review for those who don't exactly remember the different elements of thaumaturgy engineering and thaumaturgy science."Boros said this with a ghastly tone, though it was more uplifting than normal, as shown by his smile in his dark gray eyes. Rokuro Yoosun, and Rika all sat next to each other all in uniform, Rokuro's and all of the male uniforms consisted of a tuxedo shirt, this shirt also held a lion emblem, and a black tie, and black tuxedo pants, the female uniform held a fancy shirt with a black lion emblem, and for bottoms a black skirt.

These colors complemented most of the looks of the students, but there were exceptions to this, for example, Rokuro, Yoshiro, and even Leos.

"First off starting with the explanation of all this equipment, kamigori, drivers and scribes, it's pretty confusing isn't it-" The class interrupted the ghastly teacher loudly though there was no one in between their class walls so it interrupted no other classes" Yes sir.``The class said collectively

.

"That was rhetorical, but back at the explanation," Boros said as he wrote on the board kamigori drivers and scribes.``We will first discuss kamigori, these are spirits of all types from all cultures, different levels of them apply to what they can be grouped into, such as an angel which would be classified as an entity that requires a body to speak to others verbally, and is also a good entity in its specific culture this is the strongest and rarest, they must also be culturized as warriors or else they are a spirit which I will explain after the reaper class"

The ghastly teacher paused for a second as he looked around to make sure his students paid attention to him. He started to speak again after confirming everyone's attention, there is the reaper class which could be classified as an entity shown as a cause of death or an entity that brings souls to the afterlife, they are the second strongest kamigori"

There are also sprites, low-level Kamigori which have low amounts of power in the beginning unification of the host and are the most common Kamigori for those who don't have a genetic and prolonged connection with the occult," Boros paused and drank his water knowing that it wouldn't affect Boros' body as he was already dead.``Now time for drivers, these are usually only used for the combat group, but they are also used for the gifted faction of this year, and I'll explain how they work now, they use occult energy detected by Bakuten, which then they use a complex series of spells that are usually handwritten by the user as a portable and socially acceptable scribe that holds more spells and your kamigori. Scribes are any type of object that holds spells such as Rokuro's Occult Communicator. There's more to it but that is all you will need to know for now."

Boros, with the nickname of Ghastly, paused before continuing to speak. "Your assignment is to study, and get a mission in the as close as possible, the only requirement is to have it be at least a rating of 'd', meaning there must be combat and a terrorist organization involved, this will help with the increase of terrorist organizations being involved with evil entities, and the original one also preparing for its entrance."

Rokuro had only one question for the teacher, in which he blatantly expressed a cold look that complemented his cold green eyes and midnight blue hair. "Sir, do we have to get into teams of six or three?" Boros gave a response with a seemingly regular response and tone."It's up to you the only requirement for teams is that they must all consist of at least 2 different course students, as it will prepare you for an actual terrorist group and demon hunting."

The young Rokuro simply gave a thank you, though he visibly cringed with disgust, and annoyance at the idea of teaming up with Raijin ever again, he thought to their adolescent days and the day the group split. After Kazono, Yoosun, Riza, Rikan, Raijin, and Rokuro all trained separately Rokuro made a group chat using his Occult Communicator and sent a message that read "Everyone can you meet me outside, I need a favor" this message was perceived properly to the Occult Science students, but everyone else was confused." Why did you call me here?" The question virtually everyone had inside their heads confusedly.

After, having the Occult Science assignment explained to everyone else they started to try to organize each other, but it ended up just being Rokuro doing the teamwork on them looking for jobs, but they ended up halfway making up with each other and getting on neutral terms."Raizan and will go in the frontlines and since the twins both know support magic they can support Raizan, while Kaz, me, and yoosun go and do technological stuff like hacking or anything else that would be required on the job, everybody agrees?" Rokuro asked his final question suspecting that Raizan was going to disagree with Rokuro. To Rokuro's surprise, he was incorrect and everybody nodded in agreement.

"It looks like the alpha team is going to get back together." Raijin said excitedly while holding his hand in the middle of them in which everyone did the same and raised them in excitement. After this, they all patrolled around the neighborhood and continued to do so as Raijin and everyone else except the technological team consisting of Yoosun, Kazono, and Rokuro used drones made of tulpas, rotor enhancements, and bakuten which were spiritual detectors.

"I'm getting spirit activity on my drone and sending in my drone to check if it's a d level or more incident." Kazono said as he sent his drone into an alleyway it slowly got darker until even the sun was blacked out and it was noticed at the end a shady but old person was at the end of the alley but it slowly became apparent that the alley was wider than expected."I think we need to head in the, I'm seeing isn't a spirit or god, I'm not sure what exactly he is but the tulpa is going off of the charts." Kazono mentioned it seriously and started back up talking. "His rank is 5, that's high for what he looks like. He might be greek, they are probably the second strongest to Japanese culture." Kazono said worriedly.

"Don't worry I will be fine as long as we all know our places.' Raijin said coldly, he was usually cold and silent so that he could concentrate and psychically talk to Rivana for strategy. After around 30 minutes of flying the whole offensive group had made it towards the place."I didn't think when they would be here." Raijin said with a worried tone.

"The world is this, I thought ghosts were only linked to a cemetery or a person ?" Kazono said as his drone flew further into the place. "This is a ripple between us and the afterlife, you arse, they are only created by terrorist groups and onryo, and regulars wouldn't be random, It's risky for us to take this because you all haven't been to the afterlife you have only seen it's effects. It is a dark place, I guess you could call it purgatory with benefits, but it's dangerously infested with spirits of all times, but some people live here, we even have spirit allies there, that help brighten the place. We will continue going but don't be a deadweight, stay on guard, because if he wanted to Satan himself could try to attack us."

Everybody else shivered at the thought of someone of that degree of power, and simply the high risk, high reward mission that it seemed to be.

Raijin was the only person who held exorcism talismans with him, so he was currently the only person who could benefit, but he had decent spirit control to divide the power that would be given from an exorcism. It was also the only way a spirit could permanently be restrained and put away for containment or to create a contract with, they also were valuable for other reasons.

Generally, exorcists can identify a spirit by its abilities and looks, so they identified the eerily and possessed man as Mephistopheles. As soon as they started, to get close to approach the demon of a spirit Mephistopheles sent spires of blooded spears towards the group after Raijin, Rika, and Rikan all dodged, and both of the support team that consisted of Rika and Rikan, sent holy water towards Mephisto in which the slightly delayed him and his abilities but still Mephisto didn't lose much as the water wasn't fully blessed.

Raijin started to rush head-on with both of his swords, and charged his sword with lightning, causing lightning to spark out of the swords, in which after getting into close range Mephisto sent three spires towards Raijin. Raijin ducked under two of them and rolled sideways out of another while running towards Mephisto. After Raijin countered Mephisto strikes, Mephisto decided to go into close range and used two spires that were inflamed with fire. Mephisto went into an immediate defense form and started to send fire to Raijin, as he tried to slash Raijin." I'll need back up." Raijin said as he blocked with his left sword, swept with his right leg, and slashed Mephisto with both before Mephisto disappeared.

As soon as the encounter with the demon ended a terrorist group surrounded them with a bunch of magically modded AR-15 all aimed at the group and they couldn't run because the ripple was blocked by the group, they also had straps that read L.S.L," Rika and Rikan get back and set up a field of protection.

"I wouldn't be able to go against Mesophistiles but people like these guys are lightwork," Raijin said as he went into his royal blue defensive form which he used in his battle against Yoshiro " Inuzama no Kami," Raijin said as sparks of lightning started to flow around him starting as an aura and slowly started to build up to the futuristic knight shown before, it had its usual black and blue colors.

"Hand over your drivers, and we will let you go," An LSL member said as he aimed his gun, his voice boomed around, but he had a difference between the rest, he had a scarred eyed and was blind in another eye, his hair was midnight blue with black highlights, and a dirty blond hairstyle.

Raijin hadn't heeded the armed person's warning and ran towards the group of men while slashing through them he sent explosions of lightning towards them, as the man tried to use his words, which succeeded in knocking him out of his Inazuma, as Raijin set up a ward to protect him from behind as he went to regroup. "He is above my paygrade I'll need to borrow some magic, so I can take him out or at least get him to retreat, and that'll be the assignment for us"

Raijin paused as the man's team shot and damaged the forcefield ward. The man also damaged Raijin with a scratch near his head that barely missed him. The group looked at Raijin timidly before realizing that he was not injured. His face was almost blank, though only for a few seconds Raijin was scared his life was going to end at that very moment.

He looked away from it and continued to focus on defending his group, as he noticed behind the man near the entrance into the anomaly, a crow, Raijin was confused on why anything but a crow was here, but he took little notice of it and redirected his focus

"You two will come close together to me and follow my lead in my attacks, I want Rikan to speed me up by pushing away the air around me." They both nodded in confirmation and started to group closely, then Raijin removes the ward suppressing his Inazuma Transformation as he activates after a few seconds of waiting for his occult energy to come back.

First, Raijin held his Inazuma swords in his holsters and sent out a combination of lightning and fire magic out towards the group and wiped out most of them, but a few remained inflating the leader that told them to surrender second, He took the Izanami Blades back out and they sparked lightning and flames around each other.

"You retreat or we run, what do you want to do? Because I'll be frank with you this form won't last long but it will be able to leave you weak enough to be vulnerable, it's up to you" Raijin asked confidently while starting to circle his swords in lightning, and rain leaking out into the living world.

"I will take my chances and make my leave, don't forget about The LSL foundation, we will be back." The man said silently before walking past Raijin and his group, as the tulpa drones watched from afar.

"We will remember you," Raijin said before breathing out exhausted from holding in his large amount of fear, his group was surprised at how well he was hiding how tired he was, but he wasn't truly tired, at least not physically tired.

The other two started to walk out of the Anomaly as Raijin looked back Cockily giving the man a smug look both of them giving off the same energy of superiority on the battlefield, as the difference of the lightning god of Rai, the god Raijin got his power from between the Wolf God of Valhalla the abilities that the man seemed to use.

Both forces shuddered in awe or fear at the two as they both walked opposite ways, and left the area. Raijin and their group were exhausted and decided to go to a nearby cafe for food.

As they entered the cafe people were confused on why some of them seem exhausted and poor inside of this specifically overly modern, and overpriced cafe. The cafe was filled with about 15 people excluding waiters and had a black and white checkered floor, the floor was so accurate it would remind a person of an actual checkerboard.

The doors made out of the glass as they walked in "That was some nerve you had there!" Rika said angrily as she gave him a nudge in his head with her finger and put him inside of a headlock as he wailed very dramatically, which caused a chain reaction of everyone looking at him and her as she started to blush in embarrassment, and let him go. "But seriously was it required to do all of that extra stuff back there," Rika asked while sitting back down and laying her midnight-black skirt it almost reflected the light even if for a fraction of a second as they sat in the cafe. Her clothes complimented her cherry-red hair and rosewood-red eyes.

"Eh, why not raise the stakes Ya know?" Raijin said while sipping tea his black hair sitting upon his head his eyes avoided the group of 6, He felt guilty for putting them at that risk but he was cocky and looked down upon his enemies and pitied them which was both the righteous and wrong action as a leader. Rokuro reacted in instinct and rage and got out of the seat in a fit of rage, his fist seemingly burning and his eyes ignited in anger and punched him so hard Raijin flopped downwards as he felt a sudden shock of pain.

The reaction was delayed and Raijin got back up and punched Rokuro back in anger and the pain and thought of losing Rika or Rikan and even Rokuro which caused the cocky part of the personality to identify them all as a liability, causing him to flashback through memories that were not of his own but someone close. "I'm out of here you guys can go and turn your assignments on your O.C I'm out of here," Raijin said bearing his sword in pain and the horrible history, that was at its cost for greatness his face barred with sadness his eyes, red almost crimson eyes glistening. Everyone looked at Rokuro in fear as he started to scratch his palms before

Rika looked with a weird blank stare her red eyes seemingly turning a dark crimson directed at Rokuro before getting up and leaving and everyone slowly followed along with them each of them feeling guilty for their endangerment, but none carried as the heavyweight of a burden as Raijin, who'd been affected the most by what happened, both now and before.

After the silence had grown uncomfortable he walked home to get some rest and one by one the rest of the group followed. Raijin was disheartened from coming to school the next day, but he acknowledged that he shouldn't miss tomorrow considering his goal was to have perfect attendance.

He continued to walk until he reached his block, the street was filled with suburban medium-sized homes, mainly a mix of black and white with bits of blue around windows and shutters. As he reached closer to his home the light poles started to flicker on as it had gotten late on his trip home. When he reached his door, made of mahogany with a light coat of blue paint, he looked towards his left and noticed a crow gazing at him intently as they looked at each other.

Raijin cast a spell on his eye that would allow him to see magic and spirits, and then looked at the crow again, and he had only seen gray which was weird because crows should be black, as they are avatars of death he assumed it was just possed or something and checked the seals around his home, along with refreshing the wardings using talismans that had a mantra, and sutras on them along with different prayers.

He walked inside and changed along with cleaning his gear and preparing his clothes for the next day, Once he had finished he had gotten a notification on his regular cell phone notifying him of his mother's death. He slowly checked the notifications, hoping for it to be a call, but deep down with despair, he knew what it truly was. After reading the notification he slowly put the phone down shakingly, his eyes filled with tears that were prepared to overflow at the faintest touch.

"Why'd I do that, what was I thinking," Raijin said timidly as he cried in distress. He sat and ate his rice-eggroll meal signature to his mother and started to brush his teeth and did his daily duty before going to his phone and texting Rokuro out of regret, and remorse for doing what he had done in today's mission. He knew he was being brash and that the man's abilities were above his own. His mind was even shaking though you wouldn't be able to tell going off of his expression "I'm sorry for what I did, I know I put you guys in danger and I did not mean what I had said," Raijin said sincerely as he drank some water after thinking to himself again.

He started to speak to himself "Mom I miss you will you come back to us please," He said whimpering and gripping his hands as he sat down on his living room couch

"How can I truly be the greatest in combat if I lead my team to death, especially since the threat of the Original Kamigori is so near,". He went to sleep after this sad thought flowed through his mind as tears leaked slowly through his eyes. As he slept peacefully he started to fall into a dream, though this was normal for those of which were mages it was abnormal that he saw his dead mother her hair long and luscious as ever it reminded him of his mother, and father's wedding picture.", How are you here? The dead without regrets don't have any way of contacting the living," he said, stuttering upon each word as tears flowed down his face in the dream and the real world." Don't worry about it just remember it's not your fault and the phrase, the crow is near,"

She responded hastily, her body language seemingly anxious as she constantly looked around and after finishing up, a horrid screech was let out, it was deafening and almost animalistic." What do you mean by the crow is near and what is that scream?" He said, whilst covering his ears to make the screech somewhat bearable as he was confused. "I can't tell you, but just know those two things and I love you," She said, stumbling on her words as she cried as her body started to fade away. He screamed bawling his eyes out "DON'T LEAVE ME," As he held her close. Once she had disappeared completely the screeching from the presumed to be monster had stopped and he had woken up his eyes a moon pool and tears bawling down his face, his eyes glowed from the tears, and the morning sun dawning upon him inside of his bed, almost close to the sky pigment, as the sun dawned inside of his room from his window.

He was scared and confused by the dream, and why so many crows had appeared, but he wiped his tears with his cloud-white pillow and got out of the bed. He planned to visit the Library to figure out what it meant to see so many crows, especially when he was close to death, and if there were recorded instances of seeing dead people without any attachment to the physical world while putting on his clothes which consisted of his regular midnight black jeans with a Blue Polo shirt which neither matched his red eyes.

He then picked up his driver and attached it to his jeans where a belt would usually be located, it was long and shaped like a phone with a long triangle at the end, it also included thunderstone, a rock that is used inside of lightning summoning and many other activities which required avatars, or elements of lightning. He checked his scribe bag and the rest of his normal things and grabbed his sword and it hissed at him, because of the seals in Raijin's home.

He then brushed his teeth and ate some salmon, and walked out of the house with his lunch, and backpack along with a small bag for different elements and stones such as a thunderstone. Once he walked about three miles down the gray concrete sidewalk, he noticed a wolf staring intently at him from a random neighbor's home, and started to run anxiously away from it because of the energy that it had given him. It reminded him of the day his mother died right before him, it was a few days before he had moved out of his mother's home.

He finally reached the school though it took a while, still shaken by the gaze that the wolf had given him he knew that he had to become stronger, gain a familiar, and get a stronger driver, otherwise he would be nowhere near prepared to handle the Original One. Its very name shuttered most and though he seemed unbothered it sent shivers even down his spine.

He walked up and decided to take a flower up with him as a floating robot had spoken to him, and explained to him what the flower was," This flower is the Hi no Hana, a flower used to represent fire, and also utilized in potions that use fire elements." It said very monotony, He then put the small white, floating robot away. He had never seen the flower before so that was why it was brought out

He continued walking and entered the school and talked to the attendance lady as usual as he walked towards his white locker and put away his black backpack and locked his locker. He walked towards his Occult Class and walked in slowly, the door being a light tone of wood with glass inside, the door is filled with seals just like pretty much every other door, in case of traitors, school shooters, or simply aggressors, and evil spirits.

He sat down as the class watched him there being a window with a white window seal, it almost felt as if you could sit beside it and watch the morning sun lay to rest. After taking the role Mr.Light started to speak, his proper suit and tie made him seem to be much elderly than he appeared to be. He had brown hair that was usually aloof along with a dark ocean-blue headband used to cover his eyes, so he could focus his magic on his foresight."Alright we will first be talking about the history and current geography of the world, as of right now we are currently at war with half of the world including America, which was is properly newly known as Supirittorando," He paused to catch his breath and pointed at the current at the world map which was united like Pangea, predicted in the 20s to eventually happen.

He started to continue speaking a somewhat monotone voice, which described big numbers about himself, and his personality. "This information is also inside your textbook, make sure to study since all of this will be on the test in two weeks, also this information is on page 4," the teacher said as he gazed towards Raijin's direction. "As you know we have also been developing new and better tech fitted for Certain levels of threats which will be shown inside of your combat classes," He said while insinuating that they would find out what those were in the future.

"Also there are many major entrances that are protected by the specific countries assigned door, ours being the afterlife to the different levels of areas in the universe that represent different worlds per se, though we are all in the different dimensions, our universe is the same, I will only be mentioning the popular ones starting with the scariest being the afterlife simply because no culture occupies the area meaning you could be attacked or hurt by anything," He exclaimed before showing a chart which held the different levels from dangerous to peaceful, the mortal realm being the most peaceful, in green and the afterlife being dangerous in crimson red with blazing fire symbols near it, and large exclamation points big as earth itself.

"There are a long list of levels, and class is about to end so just go to page 42, and you should find the levels, Alright I will let you guys out early, come to me if you want to learn more about divination," He said whilst pulling up the charts and rolling up others then dismissing everyone from class.

Raijin was bored by the teacher's way of teaching but he was prepared to get out of class anyway, so he packed up his notes and prepared to leave, his shoes hitting the floor hastily, trying to escape the box of boredom that was his classroom.

As he prepared to exit he saw Yoosun outside the windows, confused about why she was walking he continued to walk out as everyone created portals using a scribe, and others used technology called RDM. RDM is very complicated, and mainly used for long-distance teleportation since portals couldn't go as far as RDMs, and they were in favor of vacations, and many other purposes.

He continued to walk down the lonely halls as he didn't like the idea of teleportation no matter the method as he continued to try to reach Yoosun who was further down. "Hey Yoosun, why are you walking," He asked as she walked, unable to hear him because of her earphones.

"Hey," He screamed at her with a bellowing, and loud voice, she was able to hear her, as she screamed in fear, because she was caught by surprise, and turned around as a bell sound was made, whilst pulling out her sword-driver her speed was impeccable and form almost graceful, her Kamigori had taken over considering the cross on her forehead and a purple cross had flowed through her back.

He raised his sword in reaction lightning sparking ablaze around his head in the form of a helmet with all of his markings across his body slowly enlightening in blue.

The two were parallel to each other both in defensive stances, and once Yoosun realized nothing was wrong she took back control of her body as she fell to the ground her sword falling with her as Raijin saved her with one hand pulling her up into a hug as she awoke, wrapping her arms around him before pushing away, blushing. "Don't get handsy with me" She said embarrassed while picking up her sword, and putting it into its scabbard, Raijin responding to her comment about him

"I wouldn't dare," He retorted. "So why are you walking even though you could use teleportation," He inquired curiously still as confused as to why she walked to whatever her next class was.

"Because I feel like taking a little time off of magic for a while, and I want to conserve it for a new stage of evolution for our weapons," she said, as the sword hissed at Raijins, the pair looked at each other confusedly listening to the hissing of their weapons.

"I wonder why that happens when we are near each other," He said curiously as he walked towards the occult combat class wondering what all the talk was about with new weapons.

"I mean bad stuff would always happen when we're together as kids, I don't know though," Yoosun responded as she walked with him down the hall, leading to a turn into two big gray doors, as Raijin held one open for her.

"Ladies first," He said jokingly as Yoosun entered. She chuckled in response to Raijin as she waved her hair along to get her hair out of her face.

They then split off to get changed into their white shirts with the school emblem and black shorts with a small tag showing their names.

After changing the two walked into the large gymnasium in which Raijin battled Yoshiro, though Yoshiro was inside of Occult Class, the two had a mutual annoyance for each other. Yoshiro's overly cocky attitude along with his arrogance reminded Raijin of his past self and Rokuro which Raijin was annoyed by both.

Mr.Leos called Role as the sun made his eyes seem to be almost gold along with his hair, and he had a surprisingly calm attitude, maybe because it was a full moon tonight and it was noon."Alright, class, I would like to introduce you to some concepts and review some others," He said excitedly, he was enthusiastic about teaching elements, while bringing out some varied colored rocks each of which has an element that represented their colors. He picked up a golden yellow thunderstone that was symmetrically round, it was somewhat large and was so big that it required both of the teacher's light-skinned hands to pick it up and carry it, and it also had a vast amount of magic-infused into it.

It seemed like something that would belong in some apartment level house generator, so Raijin and Yoosun were confused as to why it was here."Many of you may be confused as to why something of such power is here" Mr, Leos said as h tapped iron to it causing a string of electricity in between the gray iron pole which was the size of a pencil, most of the newer students were not confused, though some knew it was mostly the upperclassmen who knew the scale of power that the stone had especially Raijin who felt his driver begging to have its stone replaced with it.

"Before I continue I will have to explain a bunch of important information, as to what these are how they're used in magicks and many other things," The teacher paused and drank some water before continuing to speak "First starting with how they are of purpose in magic, element stones are generally used to provide the user with it's strongest magic type, and be the base for stronger spells along with helping connect the user with its Kamigori," He paused and wrote a diagram which explained this system, and gave the students about 10 minutes to write down the diagram.

Raijin already was skilled enough to take pictures in his mind so he did not need them, nor did the majority of the upperclassmen students that were there. Yoosun took notes just in case and awaited instructions.

"Now with this, you may be thinking, why do we need kamigori," The teacher said, before pausing to allow the students to raise their hands if that was what they were thinking which majority of the freshman students and even some of the upperclassmen didn't know why Kamigori were used.

"Alright, the reason we need kamigori is for us to be able to use stronger magic and hybrid magics which I will explain after, talking about the system that we are currently upon." He said after writing another diagram upon the board excitedly using his blue marker. He wanted to skip past the explanations so he could get to the more exciting part of the class. The teacher thought to himself, " I am very surprised at how little the students know, considering that they have such strong potential," He thought as he waited to continue the lesson. He noticed that Raijin didn't even have his journal out, then confusedly inquired Raijin "Why don't you have a journal?" He asked Raijin.

Raijin responded annoyed by the number of pauses that the golden-haired, tall teacher had made." Oh I took a few focus classes and I have a great bond with my kamigori, so I can let him take over and remember things for me, then put them in a photo album Soru Kamera, with a K," The boy said before fiddling with a random pen inside of his bag boredom, as the teacher responded "Alright but it's still a good habit to take notes though," He said shaking his head, thinking to himself, "This is going to be a long year," As he picked up the water from the top of his mahogany wooden desk with two cabinets on opposite sides.

"Back to the topic Kamigoru, can make so much more of a difference of a person's strength, and depending on how strong you are along with your personality, will make the difference in the power of your magic, and what type of magic you might specialize in along with many other changing aspects," He paused and wrote down the notes in shorter vocabulary.

"Finally," The teacher exhaustedly breathed out while sweating, he had stood in anticipation for a while, and was almost put to sleep by his speaking. Mr.Leos realized that the period was almost over and, with a surprised expression on his face, he started to speed through the final topic of the period.

"Alright, today's assignment is to find an elemental demon and contain it and enhance your weapons depending on the kamigoru that you own," The teacher paused to catch his breath as he was talking hastily as he wheezed. Also, I have to mention that you will be having a field trip to Kyoto next week," he exclaimed, saddened that he couldn't give the example and the main focus of today's lesson. "Class dismissed," The teacher said as the bell blared in a 1 2 pattern.

Raijin walked out of the room with Yoosun, as Raijin changed into a pair of black jeans with a light red rose-colored shirt, with a scarf on since it was his last period.

Yoosun exited the ladies' room, wearing a white shirt and a gray jacket with her hair in a pony tail as her eyes simmered in the school lights.
