1 Chapter One — Back in the Past! (Part One)

Heaven Feather City, High Heaven Empire, Spiritual Continent.

The night filled with glittering stars is indeed fascinating and mesmerizing to see from below. But short while, heavy rain quietly fell to the ground, covering the entire sky to condense dullness.

The fascinating scene was now replaced with the clouded raining night.

Ha Ha Ha!

The sound of chuckling and demonic laughter sounded within a room of a certain clan. With this sound, the rain even poured more heavily, as thunder rumbled across the horizon. Inside the room, a young man wearing luxurious white cloth is having his hands behind his back, and eyes looking straight outside the window. Adding his charismatic face, and his handsome look, he was like a young immortal not aging even a single bit of passing time. But the demonic laughter and frightening smile have revealed that this young man wearing luxurious white cloth was not a usual youth would do.

Rumble!

The heavy rain and the rumbling sound of thunder even mystified effects to the frightening night.

The young man opened his hand and extended it outside the window. The cold and chillness of the rain touched his palm. He closed his eyes and right after that, a cold and indifferent look shone upon his eyes, with a trace of astonishment, but disappeared right after.

"If I presume... This day was ten thousand years ago, the night before the awakening." He leaned in the window and stared at the sky. "So, if I am here and can feel my senses, it means it worked and I have returned from the past."

If people from Heaven Feather City heard the young man ridiculous statement, they will surely look at him as if there was something wrong with his head.

After all, how can a person return from time?

That was something out of the world.

They surely won't believe it and not even more if the words came directly from the young man's mouth.

However, there was no impossible in the world, even for the luxurious white-clothed young man, for him to be the Evil Emperor Existence.

The reason he was slightly astonished after returning from the past was that he didn't entirely believe that the Forbidden Reincarnation Technique would work. But it actually works!

As lightning descended to the ground, a voice suddenly echoed outside the youth's room.

But all of sudden, the scene changed, and was replaced into a bloodied scene. The young lady was there but the innocent smile was replaced into coldness and hatred on her mesmerizing eyes.

The surrounding place had corpses scattered on the ground and flame razed the pavilions and estates of the land.

Even from somebody's perspective, everyone who saw this can instantly understand the situation.

Another clan was annihilated!

As the young lady hatred scanned to Xiao Fang's bloodied figure, she disappeared from the distance. The scene had disappeared, as Xiao Fang closed his eyes to calm his composure. After then, tears began rolling out from the corner of his eyes but it only dripped for few seconds as Xiao Feng wiped it right after. Even if Xiao Fang lived for ten thousand years, standing above in the entire Spiritual Continent as an Evil Emperor, he could not forget the past.

That day, Xiao Clan was annihilated. For one reason, his, Xiao Fang's, mistake. He hated himself for being weak, for being unable to cultivate, for being ignorant of the world. If he has act decently from the past, perhaps, that incident wouldn't happen. But alas, he was unable to.

He even made his younger sister hated him from the bones.

Xiao Fang breathed out. For him, after ten thousand years of raging waves and near-death situations, all of that no longer matter. Although he survives that harsh past from a lucky yet terrible concurrence after he was recruited to a Malevolent Sect, he never had seen Xiao Ling Er again after that incident, and even after the ten thousand years of his journey.

Thus, the feelings of familiarity with her had already long faded and it merely shows for an instance. Even the feeling of guilt of causing his clan annihilation had disappeared and was replaced with indifference as if he didn't care for it.

After all, he was back in the past, and the things he did before for causing his clan annihilation had not yet happened from this timeline. Thus rewinding the time, for Xiao Fang's point of view, was like a repayment from him to them.

"Come in." Although Xiao Fang's voice was calm and had a trace of familiarity, it wasn't that far from indifference.

After hearing a response, Xiao Ling Er entered the room. With an innocent smile hanging on her face, she ran towards Xiao Fang, hugging him. "Big Brother..."

Xiao Ling Er's action was not exaggerated since she was only twelve this year. And in front of her big brother whom she admires the most, she showed no restrictions to her actions. And for those untainted's perspective, her action was normal.

As lightning again rumbled, Xiao Ling Er hugged her brother even more tightly on his clothes with her eyes tightly shut as if she was frightened by the weather.

Xiao Fang hangs a smile to his face and due to their height difference, he knelt in one-knee and caressed her back. "Little Si..."

Xiao Fang's voice abruptly stopped and once again said softly.

"Xiao Ling Er, don't be afraid. The rain will pasts shortly, and lightning would disappear right after that... So you shouldn't be afraid of this kind of situation."

Xiao Fang remembered that Xiao Ling Er was scared of lightning and this scene had been repeated once from the past. Thus, since he already knows what was the young lady would about to say, his words were direct-to-the-point. After all, the past is the past, and since the reincarnation technique worked, it means, he can alter the past's actions and not be repeated again. It is the same with his actions.
