Prologue I

Somewhere in Brooklyn, NY

1 o'clock in the morning

"Your not coming Alex?" Iida asked by the door with a raised eyebrow,

"No, I still have work to finish up here," Alex shook his head with a smile.

"You should really come celebrate with us, we wouldn't have gotten that proposal approved if it weren't for you," Iida tried to push but he shook his head again.

"It wasn't just me you all worked hard too, and if this isn't in by tonight the higher ups are going to throw a tantrum, so I'll finish up here and you can have a few drinks for me," He smiled cooly and went back to typing on his computer.

"Alright, make sure you go home and get some sleep when you're done. Bye Alex," Iida waved with a smile.

My name is Alex. I'm 22 and I grew up in an orphanage and later came to the 'Big Apple' to get a life where I wasn't known as 'Alex the Orphan.' That never worked out. In the end I became an overworked office worker who lived paycheck to paycheck.

Currently it is around one and I am completing my eighth proposal this month. Not even 3 hours ago I had one approved and I am already onto the next. Life sure is stressful sometimes.

Finishing the proposal Alex stretched and cracked his back. Closing his eyes in accomplishment Alex relaxed for a moment, it was already 4 o'clock in the morning. If he went home now he'd get 3 ½ hours of sleep.

Quickly packing up he ran to the elevator and went to the ground floor. Waving at security he left the building and started walking in the direction of the nearest subway. The streets were crowded as ever and the traffic was getting worse.

Cars were honking horns, music was blaring, screams were heard, chattering was clear. "The City That Never Sleeps" was a befitting nickname for this bright city that always had noise and always made people smile in someway.

Standing at the crosswalk Alex closed his eyes and took a breath of the cool night air. When he opened her eyes he saw a little girl run into the street and a truck about to run into the girl.

Before Alex could even think, his body reacted, he ran at the fastest speed he could possibly run and pushed the girl out of the way. He was hit by the truck instead of the girl. Everything went black.

Prologue II

Palais Garnier, Paris, France

7 o'clock in the morning

Jason F., the greatest dancer to ever live. His performances could change a person. Tonight he was performing in Palais Garnier, Paris, France. A grand theatre fit for a grand performance.

He was doing ballet. The very soul of the spectators were touched by his graceful and elegant movements. Whoever said Ballet was for girls should see this man perform. Time flew in the stadium and it went for 7 am to 9 am in what felt like minutes.

His movements were beautiful. He spun and leaped and DANCED with such vigor.

It was stunning.

I am Jason F. a performer from Canada. I am a singer, songwriter, dancer. I have been performing since I could walk. Dancing is my life. When I was 16 I was recognized by talent agencies and became famous basically overnight.

A few months later I became the youngest Grammy nominee. By 18 I already won 6 Grammys and a few smaller awards. After winning my sixth Grammy however my parents were killed in a car accident.

When I turned 22 I had 12 Grammy and hundreds of smaller awards. Life was good.

I was performing at Palais Garnier, Paris, France. I had chosen to do a ballet recital to fit the grand scale of the place, it was a great performance(If I do say so myself).

As I bowed at the end of the performance roses were thrown on the stage and claps filled the room.

There was a loud crash and a light from directly above me fell. I felt unbearable pain and everything went dark.

Prologue III

Milan, Italy

7 o'clock in the morning

"Liam! Did you see that out there? They loved you designs!" Laura called out with a bright smile.

"Yup! Now all I need is Boyfriend and then I'll truly be happy!" Liam beamed at her.

"It won't be hard for you considering your accomplishments," Laura muttered something about her own love life after.

"I don't think so. Anyways, what are you doing here Laura the show ended at 9(am) and it's 2(pm) now."

"Because your here and I swore to your parents I wouldn't let you overwork yourself." She gave him a smile.

I am Liam, a world famous gay designer. Am actually the best designer in the world. I have designed clothing for 12 stars on the red carpet already. I just released my newest clothing line and I am now on the path to becoming the greatest designer in history.

Laura had finally convinced me to go back to the hotel when she noticed the door wasn't opening. When I felt the handle of the door it was hot to the touch. Smoke was leaking in from outside

I quickly analyzed the situation and looked out the window. The building was on fire and we needed a way out quick. Bright flashing lights were outside. We were 6 stories up and I definitely would not fit through the window. The firefighters were already running in and out of the building with victims, if I was lucky we'd both live. I looked at Laura and saw her panicking.

"Don't worry we'll get out of this alive. We are going to use the rolls of fabric to make a rope. Then you can scale down the building got it," I shook her shoulders to snap her out of it.

If I wasn't going to be able to survive this at least my childhood friend would survive.

We took the rolls of fabric and cut it, tying the pieces together I tied the makeshift rope around her waist.

"I'll lower you down. Just keep your eyes closed and when you get to the ground get to an ambulance."

"W-what about you?" She stuttered.

"I'll be fine, you go."

"Ok," she nodded and I started to lower her down. The firefighters saw this and prepared to get her to the ambulance.

When she was safe I looked at the door and tried to find another way out of the room. Smoke filled the room and it was getting harder to see. The door was set ablaze by now and the flames were spreading.

The heat was unbearable as I backed up into a wall. The flames ate through the wood floor and the different clothing items on the tables. Then the roof collapsed, even if there was a way out before there was no way out now without a miracle.

I felt lightheaded and my vision was getting blurry, at least I was able to do something with my life before I died.

Prologue IV

Kennedy Space Center, Florida

1 o'clock in the morning

"♪♫♫♪♪♫♪♫♫♪♪♫♪♫♪♪,"Lisa hummed along to a song as she worked on the schematics of a new rocket. She ended up having to work overtime in order to get the schematics for the final design done and test the mock design.

"♪♫♫♪♪♫♪♫♫♪," She erased and reworte numbers, redrew lines, and edited the sketches.

"♪♫♫♪♪♫♪♫," she typed something into the computer.

"♪♫♫♪♪♫♪♫," she closed the file and put it onto the desk behind her. She then opened the online schematics of the design and started to edit it as well.

"Lisa! Can you help me? The mock engine won't work and I don't know if it's the coding, or the wiring, or— Please help me!" Mandy cried out latching onto Lisa's arm.

"Sure…" Lisa stood from her seat shaking Mandy off her arm and following her to the room where the mock engine was being tested.

Click. Clack. Click. Clack.

The sound of her heels hitting the floor resonated through the hall just below Mandy's frantically explaining the situation.

"Lisa you're here thank god!" Jack called out in relief when Lisa walked in the room

"No problem, you guys go up and I'll check it out from down here. I'll give you the signal when to start testing. I would have one minute to get out of the room before it starts so that should be enough time. Once it starts you can't shut it down," Lisa quickly took the lead.

Mandy and Jack nodded in understanding before walking out of the room. Lisa began to go over the coding and wiring of the mock engine.

A little while later she gave a thumbs up in the direction on the window and started to head for the door when the engine fired up.

My name is Lisa. I am a 22 year old rocket scientist. If one were to look at it from a certain perspective I would be considered a genius. I graduated high school at 8. Graduated college at 16. I was a neurosurgeon and general practitioner up until two years ago when I decided I wanted to try out rocket science.

When I was 6 my parents, 2 sisters, and brother was murdered in front of my eyes. I survived because a neurosurgeon was able to remove the bullet that was in my head without leaving any lingering effects. That is why I went into neurosurgery as a profession.

The reason I went into rocket science was because while I was recovering a rocket scientist had visited me once a week to cheer me up and left a huge impact on me.

Anyways, I was a few feet from the door after giving the thumbs up for the start up when I tripped. My heel was stuck in the vent and my pant leg was caught.

My eyes widened as I tried to tug my foot free.

"10 SECONDS"

I pulled but it just wouldn't budge.

"9 SECONDS"

I tried to rip the pants but the fabric was too thick.

"8 SECONDS"

I looked at the mock engine.

"7 SECONDS"

It was huge.

"6 SECONDS"

A blast from that would surely kill me.

"5 SECONDS"

I pulled harder but it wouldn't come loose.

"4 SECONDS"

I took a deep breath.

"3 SECONDS'

Closing my eyes.

"2 SECONDS"

I stopped struggling.

"1 SECOND"

This was my end.

Prologue V

MMA Ring, Somewhere in the USA

1 o'clock in the morning

His mother left when he was a child and his father was a drunkard martial artist. When his mother left his father let his anger out on him by training him in every martial art he could possibly teach. He also trained him in archery, swordsmanship, hunting and carving. One wrong move and he'd beat him to a bloody pulp.

When he turned 16 and finally beat his father in every type of combat her father committed suicide. He entered martial arts matches and won every one. He used the money from those matches to survive

My name is Gavin. I am the strongest martial artist in the world. When I was 4 my mom left and my dad started to abuse me. When Iwas 16 my dad committed suicide. My life has been hell for as long as I could remember. The only reason I went into this field of work was so I could eat and have a roof to sleep under.

I am currently 22 and as always I had just gotten first place in a match. I raised my arm in triumph and that's when I saw it.

It was a black box that shouldn't be there. By the time I finally realized what the box was and pieced things together it was already too late. It had already exploded and everything went black.

Pilot VI

The Heavens

Unknown Time

"Where am I?" Alex groggily asks sitting up with his hand holding his head.

"What's going on?" Jason grumbled with a displeased look.

"What the— who are you?" Liam exclaimed.

"What am I doing here?" Lisa asked in surprise.

"How the hell am I alive?" Gavin looked down at his hands in wonder.

They all looked around the room. The room was pure white and had one grand red door with golden accents. In the center of the room was a large wooden table with cushioned chairs surrounding it. In the seats were 17 'people.' 7 women, 7 men and what looked like 3 children.

The five stood up and warily looked at the group.

"Look! Look! They're here!" One of the girls shouted in joy. The girl had forest green hair and soft brown doe eyes. She smiled brightly running up to them and shaking all of their hands.

"I'm Gardenia it's nice to meet you all!" The girl, Gardenia, greeted with overflowing happiness.

"Nia, your scaring them," a girl with coral pink hair and ocean blue eyes pulled Gardenia away from the group.

"Sorry about her, I'm Wave! Nice to finally meet you all!"

"I'm Calypso, It's good to see. you all made it here safely," a girl that looked younger than the two that greeted them shyly waved from behind a woman with hair that looked like water and clothes that looked to be made of flower petals.

"I'm Adya the goddess of Spirits, and these are my three daughters the nymphs of sea, nature, and dance." The woman greeted.

A woman with bubblegum pink hair and blue eyes with a rather full chest gets up and shakes all of their hands, "I am Alma, goddess of Youth and Regeneration. Pleasure to meet you all."

"What do you mean by 'Goddess'?" Lisa warily asks the group.

"Ah I suppose we haven't really told you all what happened and you all just died and came here so you are bound to have a few questions," a tall slender man with a long gray beard and narrowed eyes mutter.

"Himadhri, God of Life, nice to meet you all," He shook their hands before continuing,

"We brought you here so you can help us. One of the worlds known as Holleff is in danger. In the future there will be a great war and the wrong side will win, bringing an end to humanity and other races in that world. We brought the five of you because of your personality and individual abilities. We believe that you can save Holleff together."

"Wait is this like one of those Manga tropes? Are we going to be reincarnated, or will we be transmigrated? What are we supposed to do to save this 'Holleff?' Will we have 'cheats?' Why do you need five of us?" Liam immediately fires after Himadhri finished his sentence.

"It is somewhat like a trope from a 'manga' of your world. It will be a reincarnation. We plan on reincarnating you into a prominent noble family that will help you in your mission. We want you to end a war with the right side winning. You will have 'cheats.' We need five of you because just one would place a great burden on you all and I don't wish for you to have such a pain. Also we loved all five of you so much and felt heartbroken by the pains you have all been through so we decided we want all of you to live a happier life." Himadhri answered in one go.

"This is so confusing." Lisa muttered.

"As confusing as this is I just realized how rude I am being. I am Lisa, I was a rocket scientist." She smiled at him and went on, "Sir, do you mind explaining to me the details behind everything. It is nice to meet you but this all too much."

"Nice to meet you to Lisa, I suppose this is all confusing. Basically, we want you to be reincarnated into a different world. There the five of you will change the future whether you are able to save the world is up to fate. However although your entire purpose of being sent to another world to save the world from it's potential doom, we want you to live your life and be happy."

"I...see, and you 17 are, Gods? And we, were killed to help you save a different world?" Lisa asked.

"Yes, we are, and we are truly sorry for that, your day of death was already set in stone we just needed to wait for the day you actually die in order to bring you here," a woman with pitch balck hair and brown eyes clarified.

"Well actually if it were up to me I'd have let them live a little longer," another woman who looked almost exactly like the black haired woman but with brown hair spoke with a pout.

"Oh I am Shivani, and this is my twin sister Danya, we are the Twin Goddesses of Death and Judgement." The black haired woman introduced.

"Oh, I am Gavin, I used to be an MMA fighter," Gavin introduced.

"I am Alex I was an average office worker," Alex followed.

"I used to be a performer and my name is Jason."

"My name is Liam and I was a designer."

"Ah, we will be reincarnating you to a different world, so we need to explain the situation to you. Anushtan God of Celebration and Wine and Alvis God of Wisdom and Strategies, explain everything." Himadhri continued on.

A man in his mid to late thirties with a small pot belly took a step forward with a smile. "I am Anushtan God of Celebrations and Wine."

Then an older slender man with a white beard similar to Himadhri's followed Anushtan, "I am Alvis, God of Wisdom and Strategies."

"Holleff has 5 territories in this world. Faeiru, the Fairy Kingdom, Bewrui, The Beast Kingdom, Elfwood, The Elf Kingdom, Hayori, the Human Kingdom, and the Demon Kingdom. Of these five, the Fairy, Beast, Human, and Elf Kingdom all live in peace. The five territories are connected by a forest known as Eifgeiriu. Although this forest has many resources it is very dangerous because of the demons. Demon's are created when magic in a creature overflows and the creature can't control it. The creature ends up transforming and becoming highly aggressive and creates mass destruction. The offspring of these demons are also demons which lead to an abundance of different types of demons. With the abundance of mana in the forest it is highly likely that demons will appear more often so most people avoid it." Himadhri explained.

"The five of you will be born into the great house of Blackwood. They are a Dukedom in the Human Kingdom of Hayori so they are very powerful. The Blackwood Dukedom is only second to the emperor because the bloodlines are directly connected," Anushtan began.

"In this family you will learn etiquette, martial arts, sword arts, magical arts, and other necessities to live in this world. In this world developments are still far behind due to magic, we hope that you'll be able to help society advance. You are all Apostles of the Gods. Therefore you will our protection and blessings. All five of you will receive the protection of the 17 of us plus other gods. I'll let the gods themselves explain what their blessings will do. " Alvis continued from where Anushtan left off

"My blessing as God of Wisdom and Strategies will grant you the ability to gain knowledge in anything. There are many abilities that come with my blessing such as 'Encyclopedia' which allows the user to search for any information that has been discovered, since you are reincarnators that will include information from both this world and your previous world. There is also an advancement in 'Appraisal', a common spell, it will allow you to see more information in the appraisal screen than the average person. There are a few more but that is the basics," Alvis went on.

"I am Saffron Goddess of Food and Delicacies," a woman with fiery red hair introduced, "My blessing will allow you to eat any amount of food and still have a healthy body, there is also poison immunity, and 'Summon Kitchen.' This ability will allow you to summon a kitchen wherever you are, this kitchen will always be fully stocked and will always have the best ingredients and materials."

Then a woman with grey eyes and navy blue hair spoke, "I am Melody, Goddess of Music. My blessing will allow you to have control over sound magic. You will also have the ability to create a microphone powered by mana, the more mana the louder the sound. You will have the voice of the angles and you will also have a great memory."

Then a man in his mid to late thirties with a bearskin hung around his neck like a cape introduced himself, "I am Averett, God of Beasts. With my blessing beasts will want to make contracts with you and you will be able to use their abilities. You will be able to communicate with animals and you will also be able to speak the language of the beast people. You will also be protected by all Beasts whether you are contracted or not. The only types of beast or animal I cannot offer assistance with is demonized ones."

There were three men in their mid twenties who introduced themselves last.

"Jamil God of Love. With my blessing you will find your destined partner, when you find them both your fates will be linked. If your destined partner is an Elf, who live for hundreds of years and you are human your life span will be changed to match theirs. That means you will age at the same pace as them, so you could die if you are attacked or get ill. Also you will be able to see how much someone likes or dislikes you on a scale from 1-100." Jamil explained.

"Beau God of Beauty. With my blessing you will be born with a beautiful or handsome appearance. You will have the ability to change your appearance with magic, but I recommend to only use this when absolutely necessary. Since beauty is not only on the outside my blessing will also add to the appraisal skill a category called 'Character'. Here you will be able to see how a person is on the inside."

"Magnar God of Martial Arts. You will be receiving my blessing because in your lives all five of you practiced some form of martial arts. With my blessing you will become the best martial artists of this world, my blessing gives you advancements in your fighting styles and helps you learn the techniques faster."

"With our blessing as the Nymphs of Sea, Dance, and Nature, you will receive a gift in each. With my blessing as the Nymph of Sea you will be able to breathe underwater and communicate with mermaids and other sea life. With the blessing of the Nymph of Dance you will be able to dance to any tune, you will have the ability to learn any movement by just seeing it once. Also you will have the flexibility of a contortionist in your world. With the blessing of the Nymph of Nature you will be able to communicate with plant life and grow any plant. The forests will protect you and if you are ever in need you can control the plants. With our blessing spirits will love you even if Mother didn't bless you," Wave smiled.

"Just as Wave said, even without my blessing spirits will still love you. But with my blessing not only will the spirits love you but you will also receive recognition from all high ranking spirits. Unlike other spiritualists you will also be able to directly communicate with every type of spirit. Finally when you are born a spirit will also be born with you, this spirit will be your familiar and will protect you till death, and once dead, this spirit will protect your next of kin." Adya smiled.

"With my blessing as Goddess of Youth and Regeneration you will receive the power of healing magic. Your body will also heal faster than most. My blessing can also assist when changing your appearance while using Beau's blessing by helping alter your age." Alma continued.

"With our blessing as the Twin Goddess' of Death and Judgement you will have something known as Judgement Eye, with this you will be able to see what will happen if you make certain decisions. Additionally you will have Deaths Miracle, it will allow you to save someone who is still breathing and alive but gravely injured. You can only use this spell once so you must use this with caution." Danya warned.

"With my blessing as God of Life, you will have a magic known as creation magic. As long as you know the chemical composition of something you can create it. I will also be granting the five of you the ability to communicate telepathically. This is a form of sound magic so Melody and I play a part in this. This power will allow the five of you to speak with each other from any distance as long as the others are still alive." Himadhri went on.

"With my blessing as God of Celebrations and Wine, you will not be able to ever get drunk. Moreover you will have the knowledge of every form of celebration from this world and how to perform every celebration. You will never be lost with what to do during a celebration."

"My name is Sahar, and as Goddess of Magic, my blessing will allow you to master the different forms of magic faster than the average person. You will be an all attribute magic user, this is common but it is like being a jack of all trades but master of none so be careful. Starting in this new world I will provide all necessary information for your use of magic. You will have an infinite amount of mana so no matter how much magic you use you will still be able to use magic." Sahar, the last god to explain their blessing ended.

"A few more things," Himadhri continued after introductions were over, "would you all join hands, I would like for you all to receive the necessary information about this trip, world, and situation. Also you will all be receiving the other four's memories. And you will be gaining the information received with your blessings."

They joined hands most of them just done with the situation unable to question anything anymore. Himadhri touched their backs and immediately memories from all of them were seen, and images of the other world and other information needed were displayed in their minds. Then the other 15 touched their backs and all the information on their blessings were displayed.

"Wow, what was that, I feel like I've known you guys my entire life, " Liam pondered in wonderment looking at the group beside him. They all nodded in agreement.

"Cool." Jason muttered.

"Now would you close your eyes we will now begin the reincarnation process. Remember to live this life the way you want to live, all you have to do is end the war, and the war will not start until you are all around 16. We want you to be happy more than anything but we also don't want to burden you too much, share the burden with the rest, we don't expect just one of you to end the war. And remember to use the names we gave you. And don't forget to come visit us at a church!" that was the last thing the five heard.
