15 14: Arise Rogar Arryn, A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms Part 2

(The Kingswood, The Crownlands, The Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, Westeros, GoT Universe)

---------------------------------

(Arthur Dayne POV)

---------------------------------

As expected the task was proving difficult, The Smallfolk were actively subverting their efforts, and Arthur was beginning to see the hopelessness of the situation which many of the men were feeling.

How were they supposed to bring Justice to the so-called Kingswood Brotherhood Outlaws, when the Outlaws were protected by the very Smallfolk that inhabited the Woods few settlements. How would Rhaegar solve this?

''Ser Arthur, A Word?'' His Sqiure Rogar Arryn asked entering his rented room. It'd been a good few years since he'd taken on the Young Falcon on as his Squire, and Arthur had little regrets. The Affair with his beloved sister Ashara not withstanding, his opinion of his Squire was quite high.

Skilled at arms and an especially skilled administrator, Rogar was as much his Squire as Lord Tywin's. The Destruction wrought if Tywin and Rogar ever went to war would be catastrophic and apocalyptic. Because for every Victory Tywin would take, Rogar would not only make him bleed for it, but he would gain more ghanhe lost. He was an expert in Counter-Warefare.

''What is it?'' Asks Ser Arthur.

''I have a plan to wi over the Smallfolk.'' Says Rogar, catching Arthur's full and undivided Attention.

''Speak.''

''We need to win their trust. Let's start by paying double the price of everything we take. We petition the King directly to allow the Smallfolk to hunt Hares, Deer, and Rabbits in times of need. And what little we do sell we do so at a fraction of the price they're really worth. Shouldn't take more than a month to overshadow the Brotherhood in the Villagers Heart's.'' Says Rogar with a calculating look in his Pale Ocean Blue Eyes.

''Smart, anything else?'' Asks Ser Arthur, knowing Rogar likely would have more to win their trust.

''We build A Road connected to the Villages and The Kingsroad, make the Villages more connected to the Trade Routes.'' Says Rogar.

Thinking it over internally, Arthur is able to see the merit in Rogar's Plan. The Payment of Goods three times their worth, Selling their own at s fraction of the price, and petitioning the King for hunting rights is a good short term means of gaining the Smallfolks trust. But Paving Roads between the Villages and the Kingsroad to connect them to the Royal Trade Routes is a better Long-Term means of success.

Together these ideas may just turn the tide in their favor for generations. Long-term and Short-term, both ideas mean the villages would likely be more inclined to side with the royals rather than any bandits foolish enough to take up the Mantle of the Kingswood Brotherhood's Mantle of stupidity.

These Villages were often desperate for supplies, and the only roads into these Villages nine times out of ten were just a beaten path, which was why this idea was of such merit.

''I'll write Lord Tywin directly, I need you to have A rider prepared to deliver it personally.

''I'll have a Small force of guards accompany the rider, don't wanna risk it.'' Rogar adds as he departs.

Picking up his Quill and Inkpot, Ser Arthur begins to write after retrieving his Parchment, Stamp, and Wax from his bags.

(POV Shift: Rogar Arryn)

---------------------------------

Roland Crakehall had rode back with Four Arryn Guards and Albar Royce with Ser Jonothor Darry accompanying. Rogar passed along a letter of his own to be sent to Albar's sister Myranda, but made sure it was to be a secondary priority for delivery.

As soon as her Betrothal to Rogar was officially announced, Myranda moved to The Eyrie, and had been serving as it's Acting Lady and Stewardesses since. Rogar insisted on it, in order for her to become more acclimated to the Eyrie, and the running of it's day-to-day requirements.

They Wrote each other three times a Week, and This was his second letter this week. During the last week Myranda had been finding the Eyrie delightful, she said as much in her letters, and his household spies confirmed this.

Rogar was getting impatient in regards to Their marriage. He was greatly looking forward to the bedding ceremony especially. Ashara was delightful in her own right, but Myranda was gonna be a real delicious and succulent treat. A small mouth, Wide hips fit to birth a litter of children, Big Breasts fit to nurse half a Village, and a nice ass just begging for a Perverted Smack or full on grope.

By contrast Ashara was Exotic, she had an hourglass figure, small but supple breasts, a small round plump ass, and a skilled tongue. Her eyes were perfect.

Ashara was about eight months along presently, and was safely secured away for birthing their Bastard Child in about half a month.

Rogar hoped for a daughter more than anything, because if Ashara still committed suicide he'd need only look at His baby Girls face to be reminded of her. Even in his old life, Rogar had always been better with faces instead of names. For instance he coy remember the faces of his Intermediate Teachers perfectly but for the life of him only remembered half their names. Here he could remember his wetnurse perfectly and his Milk Mother too, yet had difficulty recalling their names.

Ugh, Rogar really needed either to sleep or to fuck something, preferably the latter. Unfortunately he hadn't had sex since Ashara got a noticeable bump, and he was holding himself back from whoring. He was horny, but He'd restrain himself until the wedding night. Because Ultimately in the end, Myranda was worth the torturous hormone filled wait...
