First Battle

Anton brought fifty soldiers with him and ten of them are fully armored with wooden armor that has stone edges and fiber for reinforcement.

The weapons he had were only a bow with arrows and some throwing daggers.

Even though he wants to find enemies, spiritual fruits does take priorities no matter how many sacrifices he will make today.

Walking through the patches of grass, stepping on the flowers Anton and his army advances through the forest searching for the spiritual fruits.

There were many types and also many grades.

The most common ones should be the golden apples that gives the same amount of energy as rank 1 crystals.

While the more rarer ones are ace cherries and gravity peers, horrible names, but he wasn't the one who named them.

If he's lucky he can find vegetables like corn or potato, they have much higher yield and are faster to grow.

As Anton walked deeper and deeper in the forest, it became less and less crowded with bushes and long grass.

Quickly Anton could see plains with some small trees. As reality was often disappointing he didn't see any golden apples hanging on the small trees. To be honest, he was already surprised to see small trees, but everything was overshadowed by the enourmas trees thus, anything can be out there.

Looking around Anton noticed a deer walking around, naturally the deer also mutated, but the combat prowess of the deer isn't increased by much from before, that is also why the deers are still cowards who runaway.

But that isn't what caught his attention, what caught his attention was the bear hidden behind the bushes in front of the deer.

' Damn, were beers always that smart? I wouldn't notice it if not for it's size ' As for fighting the bear? It's possible, but he didn't really want to take the risk, a mutated bear is quite strong.

But unfortunetaly for him is that the deer noticed him and his army and quickly ranaway and due that it enraged the bear who looked the direction of the deer and saw Anton and his army standing not too far away.

Of course Anton knew that the bear is surely faster than his soldiers in terms of speed. He could only order his soldiers to prepare for battle and surround the bear.

' I hope the bear isn't too smart ' The heavily armored ants quickly surrounded the bear being the distraction as the other soldier ants closed in with their shields and spears.

Anton used his bow to shoot at the bear's back because it was the only place he could shoot if he didn't want to involve friendly fire.

But the arrows only annoyed the bear as the arrows didn't really pierce the bear's fur and only small wounds.

Anton quickly threw his bow and arrows to the ground and sped up to the bear.

Obviously if his arrows didn't do much, the spears also wouldn't and as expected the ant soldiers could only pierce 1 centimeter in the flesh of the bear before it was stopped by the muscles.

Anton ordered every ant to retreat and rotate behind the bear. The heavily armored ants took quite a punch from the bear as half of their armor were broken, each hit will break a piece of armor, but it was better than getting injured.

Grabbing a spear from a soldier ant he threw it towards the eye of the bear with all of his might piercing it accurately. Not waiting for the bear to rest he sped up and pierced the other eye with a throwing dagger while scratching the face with his claws.

The soldiers who just regrouped behind the bear threw all of their spears at the body of the bear and did the same their emperor, clawing against the bear's body.

The claws of the ants were obviously sharper than the spears thus they actually led the bear to bleed a lot of blood.

The bear screamed in pain, but getting constant attacked by multiple enemies it met it's demise only after a solid minute.

Anton grabbed the spear stuck in the eye of the bear to only see it was only a short distance from piercing the brain.

Meat provides more nutritions than fruits and vegetables so, Anton was quite reluctant to part with it.

But first he chopped the head in half where a white liquid was, it was semi-hard, still a bit wet. 'Almost forming it's crystal already?' Anton didn't stand in for ceremony as he drank the white liquid.

After drinking everything that was available he felt a bit stronger.

Ater thinking for a while Anton decided to take the body home, it's a waste to let it rot there and the queens can make more eggs with the nutritions of the meat.

For now they could only lay normal soldier and worker ants, after their first advancement the colony will be boosted in combat prowess.

On the way back Anton saw a glittering plant, going to the plant he placed his hands on the plant and grabbed it out of the ground to see some small potatoes.

Surprised and excited Anton quickly ordered the soldiers to hasten their steps to home, he couldn't wait to plant these and start the farm already. His colony will truly boost in power.

It wasn't far away for him to conquer this whole island.

' Actually, are there any humans on this island? ' Of course, normal humans can't choose their locations because it's sort of the Earth's fault to drag some innocent souls out of there bodies and thus gave them a free choice out of compensation.

The whole theory isn't perfect but that is at least what he thought, even though it's very flawed theory.

But the Earth did change as you can see, there could be buildings from a random village or city on this island where thousands if not tens of thousand humans are.

When they arrived he immediatelt gave some meat to the queens and let them lay eggs. Hundred workers is enough for the colony for now, thus he ordered the queens to only lay soldier ant eggs.

The queens acknowledged it and began eating part of the bear's body.

He gave the potatoes to the workers and commanded them to plant them, of course he walked with them to teach them how to plant the potatoes.

While teaching the worker ants, he thought about the name of the potatoes, but shrugged it off like nothing. The name was too long to say out loud and just 'potatoes' is enough for everyone to understand.

After the potatoes were planted it will take approximately 1 week for them to grow.

Anton walked to the rest room and layed down for some rest. Even ants needs rest otherwise their efficiency will dropdown by a lot.
