The first raid

Some weeks passed. Sean finally recovered fully so he decided to continue training me, allowing me to get a lot stronger than a lot of the newbies in our guild thanks to Ethan beings able to find me a lot of hunters to copy their combat abilities from as well as their skills, which I was able to fuse if they were from the same categories (all the skills are divided by the system in due categories, active and passive, with the active being split into four other categories being manipulation, elements control, mastery skills and combat skills with these categories being the same for the abilities) and I trained as hard as I could so I could quicly reach my old rank and surpass it to become as strong as Sean (he is an S-rank hunter) and even more, though I know it will take a bite of time. After two months I finally reached level 30 thanks to all the quest I got from both Nathan and the main system as well as my daily training so I decided to ask my parents if I could accompany one of the newbies' parties as I wanted to get some real experiance. At first my parents were quite reluctant to let me go with them even though they were going to F rank dungeon but after Sean's conving, the Ethan's approval and me showing them some of my combat abilities and skills they decided to let me go though I was still 5 years old. The newbies weren't very happy about that as they didn't want to be babysitters but they knew they couldn't say anything after Ethan's approval so they just stayed quiet and obeyed. I couldn't have my own weapon nor my own armor until I was eighteen so I decided to ask Sean for his old daggers and asked my mother to borrow me her old one as I knew she was sitll keeping it though we had to fix it up a little bit. When I found out about which dungeon we were going to I cursed my luck and glared at Ethan as I knew he did it on purpose and he mouthed an apology as I massaged my temples and sighed. After thinking about it for a bit I called Sean and Max asd I asked to meet me at the gym to train. They both agreed and together we decided to train in the gym in my house as we couldn't use the guild's gym since Max and Sean both were outsiders. When I heard the doorbell ringing, I opened to see a sad Max and a half mad Sean so I asked: "What happened?" Sean said: "It was Priscilla" I looked at Sean in a questioning way as if to ask: "Could you explain that a bit better?" but he shrugged to say: "Even I don't know what happened" so I put a hand on his shoulder, worried and checked his memories and I almost cursed out loud. I touched Sean and shared to him what I saw, disgusted at her actions, and I could see he was pretty pissed so I decided to wait for both us and thim to calm down. A soon as we al were able to get back our control on our emotions Sean said: "Let's postpone our training to tomorrow at the same time. I'll go make dinner" Mark got up and said: "I'll help you. I can't let you cook by yourself" he smiled and said: "It's fine, Violet will help me out, isn't that right, Violet?" I said: "Of course I will. Last time you almost burned everything" he said: "It was one time, Violet" I frowned and said: "Because I never let you cooked from that time as I didn't trust you to not make a mess" he said: "I got better. I practiced at home" I rolled my eyes and said: "I believe you, I really do...but I don't trust you so go sit down, I'll cook" he smirked and said: "You just don't want to see me putting on an apron as I look really hot on that and you wouldn't be able to stop yourself from looking at me" I took out a small knife and threw it at him as I said: "Who are you trying to convince of that?! Dream on, you will never catch me looking at you!" Sean smiled and dodged it as he said: "How cold...luckyly I know you secretely care about me as much as I do" I knudged him on the stomach as he hissed and Mark suddenly looked at us as he asked: "By the way, what your relationship and how do you know each other?" I flinched and freezed and Sean simply smiled as he said: "She is my only family" I hit him and said: "Whose your family?! I never said I cared about you, nor did I talk about being part of your family!" he laughed and I went to the kitchen and looked trough the fridge to see what we could prepare and asked: "Is steak fine with you, Max?" he smiled and said: "It is, thank you Violet and sorry for making a kid like you cook" I waved my hand and said: "It's fine, I actually secretely cooked food for my parents once and when they find out I was quite a good cook and I was always careful they decided to let me cook when I wanted to. It actually happened some weeks ago. I wanted to surprise them with dinner as it was a very important day for them" he smiled and said: "It was really nice of you" I smiled and thanked him and then started cooking. A week passed and it finally was they day of the awaited and feared raid. My heart was pounding, both from how exscited I was and how nervous I was as it was my first time taking part in a fight during the raid in a dungeon.
