62 Let's just blow them up..

Raven continued to advance forward while killing a few Corpse disciples on the way .

The marsh region was only about forty kilometers long and Raven had already crossed more than half of it . He was getting annoyed more and more because the corpse bastards seemed endless in number and Raven already found the other four members of his squad dead .

Some of the enemies were even going to take Brook's corpse away for refining which disgusted Raven so of course he killed them. Due to him cultivating pure Flames , the yin Corpse energy was getting on Raven's nerves now .

Raven was also becoming a little afraid because his companions were not weak at all but they were killed effortlessly by the enemies . Raven could see from their dead bodies that they were killed by more than two enemies each . So Raven was feeling uncomfortable because he could not find the temporary base of the enemies and nor the method which they were using to ignore his Divine Sense perception . Even though Raven had BLINK skill but even he would be helpless if he encountered ten or so enemies at once. These bastards could even use corpses whose bodies were refined by a special method so they could not be destroyed by a casual attack . Raven forgot how many times he had cursed his low cultivation now because it he had peak Earth realm cultivation then even fifty of these bastards could not pose a threat to him .

The more Raven advanced forward, the dark area became more and more dark . In this type of environment, it was great risk to face enemies of unknown number and most importantly the fact that they all could ambush him anytime . Raven never thought himself as the MC of a cultivation novel so he felt genuinely scared because he was afraid to die .

' Sigh.. I just wanted to gain some experience but this turned out to be such a nerve wracking one ... Well , let's just blow them up and get this shit over with !! '

Raven decided to ignore the enemies and blow them up using Level 4 explosion talismans of which he had heaps of . He did not waste time anymore and started using BLINK to quickly get out of this dark and creepy place . Of course Raven did not forget to stick each talisman at one kilometer mark until he finally got out and saw a beautiful waterfall just ahead of him .

' You bastards really made me feel scared so you have to pay with your dog lives ! Hmphf '

Raven shouted angrily inside his mind and retracted the energy strings back from the talismans.

BOOOM .. BOOM.. BOOM..

In seconds many huge explosions sounded back to back with occasional screams which were muffled by the sounds of explosion . The dust clouds contained huge amounts of dark soil and marsh liquid so Raven quick took a dip under the huge waterfall to avoid that garbage . Who knows maybe the marsh had some poison properties or not ?

Finally after some minutes , the dust clouds dissipated and Raven could see the previous dark marsh area which now resembled a children's bad painting of a landscape. The huge pits were already filled with swamp water but the landscape had forever changed and would never return to previous state .

Inside the merchant city ...

" Brother Duke , what the hell was that explosion ? It came from the direction of the Dark Marsh ! "

" Holy shit ! Those Corpse shits must have some new formidable weapons with them. Tell the general to send a scout party in that direction to get some information from the aftermath. "

" Brother , I think we had sent a small squad in that area before ! Tch.. I just hope that all of them or at least a few of them are alive .. "

" Dont worry brat ! We can only have faith in our soldiers and wait for their returns until all of us face the last battle with the Corpse ants! "

Raven would have laughed even more than he was laughing now if he had heard that his actions had caused a huge misunderstanding in the camp . He was clueless though as he laughed like a maniac because he was simply happy to have finally got ridden of those shits and the fear of being killed by an ambush anytime ..
